Gap is such a nostalgic brand to me! Their clothes took up a large portion of my wardrobe when I was in high school in the late 90s! I have such fond memories of going back to school shopping there with my mom. I even worked there part-time in high school! It was my very first job!
Yeah, white linen is def hard to find that’s not too sheer. I would return those shorts. I haven’t checked this year, but I bought a super cute pair of high-rise white linen shorts with an adorable scallop hem at the bottom and at the waist from Express. Double-lined, not see through, had a side zipper, and such great quality. Maybe check if they have any this year. I get size 00 in Express. 5’2” tall, 105-108 lbs, 32D chest. Typically XS, 25, 00-0P in most things. I wear XSP and 25/0P in Gap. HTH!
