Ticketmaster cancels public sale for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour due to insufficient ticket inventory

- Anyone looking to buy a ticket to Taylor Swift's new tour may be out of luck.
Ticketmaster said on Thursday that "due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow's public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled."

Resale companies just buy them before the actual fans do...it's been happening for years now not just for her concerts but other events...I remember years ago that you had to pick up your tickets on the day of the event and show them your ID with an online confirmation to avoid scalpers...
WHY would TM sell 2 million tickets for a PRESALE??? Thats insanity. There's only about 3.5 million tickets available for the ENTIRE tour, and thats not counting seats BEHIND the stage that shouldn't even be an option to sell.

This was probably one of the worst things Ticketmaster has ever done I thank god Taylor Swift is not my favorite artist I love her but if I was a Swiftie I’d be super depressed over not getting any tickets to her shows like if this happened with Gaga I’d be in a wreck I’m sorry to those who didn’t get to go she’s playing in my city tomorrow & even tho I’m not too bummed about it I was a bit interested.

Um bc she’s used to sing country music when she debuted. Then slowly transitioned to pop music in her RED album. 1989 is her 1st actual pop album. But her old ones, esp Taylor Swift and Fearless are country
