Carmen and Lupita are both such normal people. I really feel for them considering how insensitive and irritating their comment section and the random people who approach them are.
You have a good point they are still individuals.
Why every time I watch a video of you girls every single comment is basically a question of “can you guys” “what happens if” like.... just leave them alone and watch their video. They’re not answering the questions for reasons.

Just watched the video featuring you two on SBSK! I hope you two can get the appropriate mental health treatment as soon as possible so you can feel happier and healthier ASAP. I suffer from various mental health conditions as well, (along with other extremely hard to treat conditions such as chronic pain and fibromyalgia), but I cannot begin to imagine the additional difficulty of daily activities, stress, strain, potential health conditions, and more that being permanently co-joined must bring. The amount of energy and willpower it must take to overcome your bodily limitations daily must be immense. As someone who has a "standard" human structure it's already hard enough to get help with my issues, so I hope you two can recognize how amazing it is you can have the courage and strength to share your experiences and strength online, as well as make it this far in your lives! I'm very proud and happy for you two. It's something that needs to be recognized and celebrated!

Just found this channel today, and I have to say, it’s kind of comforting watching these videos. Your personalities remind me of those of my online friends in that you have this sort of “I’ll do what I want” attitude (in a good sort of way). And that’s exactly what this channel is. Just hanging out without any sort of set goal or agenda. Honestly in a time when I’m a bit starved of seeing others’ faces and hearing others’ voices (my online friends aren’t too keen on revealing either), this is pretty much the best thing I can find: just two girls with familiar personalities doing what they do. In a way it’s ironic, but I’m finding myself watching through these videos not because I want to experience some form of weirdness, but rather for the fact that it feels comfortable and familiar. Keep it up, I think I could get addicted to your snarky humor too lol

Hello! I just finished watching your discussion on "Special Books by Special Kids" and unfortunately it doesn't allow any comments so I'll let you know here. You were very informative and right to the point and it can't get any better than that! What I seen and heard are 2 very beautiful, smart, loving, caring individuals. Though you may be attached with one another you're still very much your own person. Two very different personalities. One is right to the point, says it like it is and doesn't take any BS! And the other seems a bit more easy going, goes with the flow and cracks jokes to try and ease any tension or awkwardness. You seem very proud, respectful and caring of one another. My children and I watch Special Books by Special Kids. They are now 7 and 12 and when I first started making them watch it, years ago, they would get scared sometimes (especially when he interviewed burn victims). Now, they just accept every human they see and they notice people’s personalities. I wish every parent showed their children his channel, it is so important for humans to learn from a young age that we are all human and we are all unique and that it is totally okay to be whoever you are! When my 7 year old son watched you on SBSK said “they are adorable and cool” (he thinks everything this adorable). Anyway, that’s about it, just wanted to pop over to your channel and let you know that we saw your video and loved hearing a little about you. 🤍🖤🤍

I'm absolutely fascinated with conjoined twins! I absorbed my twin in the womb. I have 2 different DNAs and I have mosaicism where I have a distinct line down my abdomen and I have markings on my left side that I don't have on my right side. It's also called chimerism. So in a sense I'm conjoined by DNA. Unfortunately because of this my immune system attacks my own cells(my second DNA) and I'm now quadriplegic from a progressive neurological disorder caused by this autoimmune. You two are incredible and absolutely beautiful! Keep up the channel I would love to see your adventures! Stay safe!
Alicia wow, that is something new I was not aware of. Thank you for sharing your story. What a challenge, but it sounds like you do what you can to keep on keeping on and I hope you do. I know if I were you, I would definitely be still talking to my sisters DNA and she (or he) would have a name. All those reality survival shows don’t have nothing on you ladies! If Hollywood ever did have real people on their screens, our country would be 100% better for it.

Justine Rags it's funny. I didn't know I had 2 different DNAs until I was older because of the autoimmune. I did tell everyone I had a twin and named her. I took 2 different photos of me in the same year (I believe it was 2nd grade when I did this) and named her Victoria. Remember I wasn't aware I had this second DNA yet. So my whole life I asked my mom is i was a twin and even looked at my birth certificate over and over because I felt this really intense feeling of having a twin. It was consuming. But as I got older it was no longer such an intense feeling. Then this all starts happening with the autoimmune and paralysis and strokes and just strange and unusual symptoms that are now diagnosed. When my local physicians couldn't figure out what was happening we started reaching out to doctors in other parts of the state and that's when my skin became a question. They thought it was some sort of ichthyosis. We ended up looking for a dermatologist who did a biopsy and also studied the markings. Well it came back as different genetic make up and I had other biopsies on other parts of my body and organs to find out I have 2 different DNAs! I was beyond excited to know I wasn't feeling like I was missing a twin.. I was actually missing my twin! So yeah it's been an exciting life. Not easy, but I'm very blessed.

Chimerism is all around us, but most people just don't notice it. Many years ago there was a documentary about this woman who had multiple kids with a man, and was pregnant with another. They'd separated so blood testing was ordered to verify the parentage of the kids. The courts took the woman's kids away from her because her DNA didn't match them. The guy fought for her, saying he saw the kids as she birthed them... They had to be hers. The court asked if they'd used donor eggs. Nope. So the court sent a representative to witness the birth of their current pregnancy, then had blood drawn right after the baby was born. They took new samples from the parents, too. Mom's test said she wasn't the new barbie's mom either. Finally a doctor told her she might have two sets of DNA, and she did! I've always felt like part of me is missing,but I've attributed it to my severe anxiety and also my depression. Your story makes me wonder if I had a twin. Which is weird because since I was little, I've asked my mom probably 50 times why she sent my twin away. It's probably just my anxiety, but I have to say, it'd be awesome to know my sibling is always with me. Tl;dr I'm envious of your Chimerism. Lol
