The AI improvements are really cool because now the archers actually know that they should retreat when facing spearmen. I love all of your videos becuase of how much extra effort and detail is put into every marble battle. Definitely the best youtube channel when it comes to marbles
If I may make a suggestion. How about castle walls? You have to break it first before getting to the base. Add static defences like trebuches and ballista. Have the walls act as funnels for infantry. Also make the Shields actually block the arrows and in turn have them take more damage from other angles. Also the Champion needs to be rebalanced, make the weapon slower and add knockback. Overall I see alot of potential, just like the Marble Kingdom series. Great Work keep it up!

I feel like it would be cool if there’s a fort in the middle that either team can capture to add to their defenses, and would make the middle of the map more important to the overall battle.
Converting the tower to finish the whole thing was very funny (also when things with healthbars get converted their healthbar remains the same color, not sure if that's intentional)
Yellow is an extremely competent player, but purple gets more powerful the closer they are to defeat. Yellows big mistake was not finishing off purple in a singular blow but its hard to do in this mode. Really great matchup either way and really stayed exciting to the end!
It would be cool if when a friendly spear and shield unit of around the same size met, they would form together into some type of phalanx formation giving them at least a health boost and at most a speed boost. But feel free to edit the idea.
It's so funny seeing soldiers take a while to realise that they've been converted by a monk. They just keep walking together and then after a while they're like wait a minute... you aren't our teammate and then they start fighting after half of them have already been converted.
You're one of the few channels I always go to when a new video comes out. (By the way, I think that you can add a cavalry, which could make an onslaught causing additional damage if running in a straight line, well, they would certainly be faster.)
There are quite a few units that I think would be cool to have and I made a list. Basic units: -Arbalist(Crossbowman) like an archer but higher damage, lower fire rate and can pierce shields -Light Cavalry fast unit with a spear, is good against archers because of their speed -Heavy Cavalry slower than light cavalry but still faster than foot soldiers, has more health(than light cavalry), does more damage(than light cavalry) Special units: -Chariot: moderately fast, carries 4 archers, rider has a spear, if the chariot gets destroyed the archers fight on foot -Swordsman: carries two swords, attacks very fast, does lower damage but high dps because of attack speed -Sniper: carries a crossbow, bolts pierce enemies once, does high damage, pierces shields -Giant: is bigger, slower, higher hp, carries a shield and spear, shield can block crossbow and Sniper crossbow unlike normal shield, attacks slowly but does higher damage because of strength. -Necromancer: ranged attack using staff, starts off weak with low attack speed and damage but becomes stronger every time it kills an enemy. Low hp so it doesn't become op, when it kills an enemy it gets converted like monk but only has 1 hp. Also make it slow so it's unable to get too many kills but the rang will help it get off the ground with a few kills
Now I kinda want to do this in 3d and the multiplier would set the number of stacks on top of each other, so in this example we would have 3x3x12 pikes, basically a tower

It looks to me like Monks are FAR more valuable than Wizards/Mages, honestly Are there still plans for other units? I was thinking of something like Heavy spearmen or something basically a shield unit but with a spear. These videos, ever since the Marble Kingdoms one, have made me think on making a little game on Python or any other language, but something like DnD combat rolls and stuff, thanks for you content mate, love it a lot.
Had they not gotten those units they would have lost 100%. Monks are good with a bit of support, but the moment they get overwhelmed its over, mages have a higher threshold before being overwhelmed, with the 4 mages in mid all together, there really wasn't much that could touch them@@mossy8419

Interesting strategy from yellow. Sending his first champion against monks, using longbows to tank for regular archers, sending monk squads after longbows....
Add evolutions to the troops. Spearmen into pikemen(longer spears and little armor). Archers to crossbows(high damage, medium range, and slower reloads). And shields to centurions(heavy armor and high damage but low speed).
It would be cool if the units were specialised to their colour by having the units look different for example different hats or other cosmetic changes that don't affect performance. Another idea that would be cool is that if two legions of the same colour are close to each other they can combine to form one larger group so that archers and spearmen can group together and have the spearmen in front of the archers rather than them all being separate. It would make some cool battle formations that enhances their fighting capabilities. This could also be cool having special units join formations like how armies in Marble Kingdoms have captains. Another thing is maybe have the legions spawn quicker when multiple spawn bc I saw yellow get a x12 and the time between each spawn made it a lot weaker. I do think that the delay is a good thing but I would suggest having a smaller delay because of that. Just a few ideas that I thought would be cool. Good job making so much awesome content.
Really cool idea about having the legions combine! The reason for the very long delay between spawns is to prevent legions spawning in each other, causes all sorts of movement problems
I was rooting for yellow! And then I felt compelled at purple's strategic approach... But I kept rooting for yellow because of their fast decision making!
I am excited to see where this series will go! It seems like the next improvement will be something to stop armies getting stuck. Maybe some boids-like behaviour where units will avoid objects/units from other armies, or maybe an army could widen their formation until there is enough space to pass through? I really liked the cycling through the special units, it becomes a race to grab a good special unit and helps make sure neither side instantly becomes overpowered by summoning 30 mages lol
I feel like the frontline units should phase through allied backline units, It's kind of frustrating watching a shield unit push mages and archers directly into a enemy unit that they otherwise could have beaten. Maybe add a unit like cavalry that prioritizes backline units to better balance it so that those backline units aren't completely untouchable as long as there are friendly frontline units protect them?
One method I experimented with is to have the formation be a bit "looser" with gaps that others can pass through, but it causes all sorts of moshpit problems. I might have another go at it, maybe it could activate only in specific circumstances, like the archer/footman example

Purple converting the champion early in the game and wiping the bottom half of the screen, and then rolling a x2 x4 mage is absolutely ridiculous luck.
SPOILER!! Love how at the end when the tower was converted and all yellow units were killed, all the purple people had probably the biggest world record breaking group hug of all time. Must have felt good 😍
Request: Make it so that if Monks convert Mages, they become Monks and Mages would convert Monks with their attacks, while still damaging all other units. The lore would be that the monks are christians and the mages are pagan druids, which can convert each other to their own faiths. To prevent infinte conversions, probably just let a monk/mage die after a certain number of conversions (e.g. 3). Edit: Changed for clarity

As a once-in-a-while idea, maybe you could try putting a river in the middle of the map? Would slow down units that try to ford it, and maybe you can have a bridge in the middle that units can cross at normal speed. I'm curious how that would change the dynamics of the battlefield. Might just make it stalemate for longer, but it could be interesting every once in awhile. I think a minelayer could be a fun unit. Or maybe, to suit the "medieval fantasy" themes a little better, just make it a trapper. Would approach enemy units with relatively high speed, then backpedal away from them while laying traps. Essentially useless vs structures, but specializing in whittling down legions and making the battlefield treacherous. I also bet a capture-the-flag style game mode could be really interesting with this base game. When a unit reaches the opponent's castle, they acquire a flag. If they make it back home, they get a point. 5 points, and the enemy castle is obliterated! When a flag is in possession of the enemy, your faction would enter crisis mode, getting additional marbles in the legion spawner, as well as a speed boost for all living units!

Doubles the current number for the marble (which starts at 1). When the marble spawns its army, it will spawn that many armies instead.
