    You’re bang on Wojak, I see many homes now that are unkept compared to years ago. People are hanging on by a thread to Keep afloat. The pendulum is past the mid point and heading the other direction which isn’t looking good. Urban decay is definitely happening right before our eyes. The cities are no better off in my opinion and if I could I’d much rather be rural and away from the masses.

      Yeah, I really can’t make the math work at all for me to get myself into anything other then a mobile home at this point in life so I’m going to roll with it…hopefully the channel can sustain that lifestyle cuz I just received a bunch more rejection letters for applications for work - I’m actually going to be doing a video and going over all my recent rejections.

    The Wizard's Tenth Rule
    Wilfully turning aside from the truth is treason to one's self.
    "People who for whatever reason don't want to see the truth can be acutely hostile to it and shrill in their denunciation of it. They frequently turn their venomous antagonism on whoever dares to point out that truth ... To those seeking the truth, it's a matter of simple, rational, self-interest to always keep reality in view. Truth is rooted in reality, after all, not the imagination."

    Well I haven't been in your exact area, but I have been in a lot of various places in Ontario and I can say while it might not look great, it's still not that bad. There are places in the US that are much much worse. places that were an industrial powerhouse in the 40s & 50s and were shutdown or moved away years ago... like parts of Detroit, or Gary Indiana, or Youngstown oh, or rockford il. In Canada we need to make sure we don't let it get that bad.

      The entire Niagara Region looks pretty bad in some parts, like legit boarded up homes and buildings line the streets about 5 minutes away from downtown St Catharine's and the same thing goes for the main tourist strip of Niagara, Clifton Hills. Just 5 minutes from the tourists are boarded up homes and office buildings and some sort of giant building that was used for a museum.

      @@IRLWojak I can confirm this; Niagara is just clinging to life. I moved here in 2017, and there were several dead areas even before covid happened. Its economic disparity for many families and you can clearly see how bad its becoming as a direct correlation between the condition of their home and our economy. I have my money for the month of August, do you think $100 will do for the monthly grocery spend?

    • @IRLWojak
      @IRLWojak  Месяц назад

      Did you grt a small increase btw? I think I actually got like $80 extra this month. $100 for groceries, I mean, what are you going to eat? Even a can of soup is like $4 theee days. I spent $50 on sandwich items, 2 chocolate bars, a can of Pepsi and some cat food…living it up!
      If it wasn’t for my mom I’d be starving to death - tbh, I’ve lost about 10 lbs recently

      @@IRLWojak not sure.. I’ll have to make do somehow. But it usually starts with first week being ok, second week I’m resorting to quick foods, usually stuff that brings out the worse in a person with diabetes. 3rd week I’ll resort to family. And that 4th week is usually junk filed - anything to cover up the hole. Latest dr visit last week and I’m literally deficient on most major vitamins, so the government has to spend more on pills, and the BAD cholesterol is “through the roof”. Not to mention I’m falling into some sort of diabetic sleep as I try to get out bed, so I have to force myself up, otherwise, hallucinations set in.

      @@IRLWojak Its gone up about 17%, or $180 per month.They haven't touched the food amounts though. I pick up, what I can, in bulk- costco $9/3 pack, compared to Walmart $8 per pack. Vaping was $24 for 120mil bottle x 5 per month, Dougie introduced major taxation on that, so it's now $50 per 120mil bottle, so I order and make myself (from the USA), it works out to about $7 dollars per 120mil bottle.

    Half my city's downtown is owned by one guy, he plasters his name on all the buildings, and most of the buildings have been sitting empty for years. I don't know what the long term plan is. Just let them sit and appreciate in value? Establish a monopoly so people have no choice but to rent from him?
