The fact that you were apart but both wore ladybugs because you missed each other😢 Definitely telepathy because the love was so strong. When the love is real, you’re never (spiritually) separated❤️
This episode made me realize how far Jeannie has come. She didn't have it easy along the way but she never gave up. On "The real", she speaks with passion and depth because she's gone deep. You see her today being all confident and slaying but she went through the mud. Thank you sharing this. In case you are reading this and you are still in the mud, there's life and light ahead. If she did it, you can too. It will get better ❤️
Jeannie Mai: works at a strip club doing makeup. hotwires cars. excessive drinking. Mama Mai: **I THINK YOU'RE LYING ABOUT SNOWBOARDING. I WANT PROOOOOOOOOOOOF!**
Jeannie has LIVED!!!! Her biography would be so interesting. That is why she always has the best advice and most wisdom at the table on The Real. Her depth and love for God makes her one of my fav celebs.
Ladybug. She was being stubborn that's why she didnt show you. But you should feel really touched that even through your separation she did something in the honor of you. I think that is the sweetest and a true emotion of a mother!
Miss Kaya and you can see the defiance of showing her the lady bug due to where she choose to place it. I’m pretty sure the only other person who knew had that tattoo was the tattoo artist.
Jeannie is proof that no matter what your past is, you can make your life into anything that you could ever imagine❤️ thank you for sharing your past experiences...Love you!!!
That letter made me cry!! Your mum loves you a lot Jeannie :) every mother has a different way of showing love! I’m so glad you reconnected and are closer than ever now. I’m so happy for you both!
xoxoamirtha I was so ready eyed at that part. Sometimes as parents we can show too much hardness with stubborn or independent children, but inside we are super much about them.
I think so too. Her mum was hard on her because she knew Jeannie was like her and didn't want her to do the things she did. Sometimes as kids we would not understand that our parents are the way they are because they want the best for us. Jeannie is fortunate to have made it because many never made it out of the mud...
Yeah she does but I remember her saying on the real that those lady bugs on her shoulder was for a ex boyfriend and that she doesnt really like them because of that. That's probably why she didnt mention it in this video
@Logan Daniels - That was so well said. I couldn't agree more. Cricket Kiser - Hoping you two find your way back to one another in the healthiest way possible.
Mama Mai after Jeannie reads the first question. Question: “How did you spend all of those 8 years apart? Where did you go what did you do I need to know details.” Mama Mai: “ Nosey one.”
I’ve met you before Jeannie and you are literally the sweetest realist person in Hollywood. Even when I went to the taping of the real and I felt like everyone was being being fake when the cameras went off. You were so sweet and kind. You came out into the audience and said high and took pictures! You have been humbled by life experiences and you radiate with love constantly! You are the best friend and big sister that I never had in my head! Keep being amazing girl!
This hit me really hard. When I was 13 I ran away and didn't see or speak to my mother for almost 11 years. I went through so much during that time. I finally realized life is just too short and I only have one mother. We made amends and we have been best friends and inseparable ever since. Thank you Jeannie for being so genuine and honest with your life and experiences! I have so much admiration and respect for you. 💙💜
I died at the “son of a mitch” omg she literally makes me die 😩! Such a character😭 I am so glad you two made up and are now closer than ever, god is amazing ❤️
This is heartbreakingly beautiful!!! Just shows the bond between a mother and child can never be broken. I'm sooo glad you guys came back together, mothers and daughters can have the worst relationships. From how your relationship was back then to how it is now?! So beautiful, so inspiring. Love is magical, transends all barriers and you two represent this Love. God bless you!!❤❤❤❤
Mama Mai may be in a better place, but she is NOT fine. Based on her attitude, you can tell she suffers from PTSD and anxiety from what happened during her childhood.
Wow I see why Jeannie left the way she did. It seems like she was and is still longing for her mom to connect with her. To accept her and to fully embrace her. Jeannie is really strong 💪🏽 🙌🖤.
You have always been my favourite on the Real. You are the most sincere and honest on the set, it's beautiful that you and your mother have been able to reconcile.
Jeannie that glow up tho🤗 Jeannie: you got pregnant at 16 “ mama Mia: that’s your father’s fault 😂😂 awww that email was so sweet and so sweet that you kept it 😍

I love this! perfect example of my life. I left home at the age 16 & came back at 21. 5 years later, I’m so happy to be back with my family & have learned that family REALLY IS FOREVER. Blessing to everyone!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hugs I love you Mama Mai, you truly have a connection with Jeannie and a love and bond that will only continue to get stronger. Everything happens for a reason, look how successful and independent Jeannie is and how strong you both are. Your kids are your teachers, they teach life, love and patience and most importantly a mother's love. Thank You Jeannie for sharing your life with the world. Hugs
I ran away at 15 because of how strict my mother and older siblings were over me. I didn’t understand that they were only trying to protect me, because living in dc wasnt so safe and i was a wild child. But I literally didnt do anything with my life but get mentally and physically abused by my ex boyfriend. I came back a year later and me and my mom became closer than ever. I love you and mama mai’s relationship. your story is encouraging. Im pregnant now with my first child, and its a girl. I just want to be the best mother so we don’t end up repeating history.
My Mom passed away 3 years. I believed my mom and I had very similar soul connections very relatable to how you and mama may is. Apple don't fall to far from the tree. Even out of my siblings I was the one that look the most like my mom. Due to unfortunate circumstances in life my mom and I never got to express ourselves the way you Jeannie and Mai express in the videos you ladies share together. But watching the videos really touched my soul in a way what could have been with my mom as well. The bonds you ladies share together made me feel full like my mom is also beside me. Thank you for your beautiful souls.
I tried so much not to tear up when Jeannie said that mama Mai left her room the way it was hoping she would come back. Oooooff. Here I am with tears rolling down now. So precious.

This episode really hit me hard😭I recently lost touch with my mom over a disagreement, I've always felt that no matter how much I try to understand her, or talk to her, it just doesn't go right. She never tries to understand me either which is a big issue. she's very cold at times and never really talks to me very closed up. I love watching you guys in the relationship you have because I feel maybe one day my mom and I will be back to that. Thank you so much for making me smile and laugh with these type of videos I'm living vicariously through you Jeannie😍🤩& love Mama Mai💜
They are the same person lol love them❤️ it’s so sad y’all missed 8 years together but I’m so glad y’all are together now and have such a close relationship. Love you Jeannie!!
Yes she did a lot of things when she was younger, but it was better than staying home being abuse by a man and a mother who doesn’t believe you. She survived and tried her best. She’s a warrior.
I'm almost 48 and I recently moved in with my mom after living on my own since I was 18. It's not perfect, of course, but it really has been wonderful. The older I get the more that I see how much I am like her. She's pretty amazing, so no complaints 😊
