That rocket flying through the damn house was funny!
MOST ASSUREDLY Y E S ! When I was a member of the Reaction Research Society , Inc. ( an Amateur Rocketry group ) for our 25th Anniversary we held our Eighth Rocket Mail Flight -- a simultaneous launch of TWO Mail carrying Rockets , and fired them from Yuma , Arizona across the Colorado River to Winterhaven , California on October 5 , 1968 . Sitting here beside me while I type this is a display frame containing two Postmarked Memorial envelopes -- one from each rocket , and a Postmarked Memorial Post-Card from this event .
Looks like the rocket fuel was, Potassium chloride, alcohol, and sugar.
