My Aunt used to collect old phone books and old newspapers as well as shredded paper from businesses. She'd put them into a commercial food processor with water to turn it into a pulp and then add some bees wax, shaved off a big block using the food processor's grater fitting, then put the blade back in and blend it some more. Then she had a 1M long steel pipe with holes along it and would pour the pulp into it, it would take 3-4 batches of the food processor to fill the pipe, then used a vice to compress it and squeeze out most of the water. She'd leave it for a day or 2, then it was still damp so she would put it out in the sun to dry and then put it into a pile in the shed for winter.
