    When I first saw you starting your electrical wiring, I thought "this is going to be SHOCKING!!" LOL! Then I was impressed with your wiring skills Chuck! You seem like a very GROUNDED individual!! (Sorry brother, I couldn't help myself!!). Good luck on your Reno's. I guess golfing is out for a while? Cheers!

    Chuck, I am a retired electrician and I would probably would want to replace the panel box in the garage for the future. Use that when your mom moves in you’re gonna make an appointment in there you’re gonna need the plugs and the power you wanna make sure the electrical is in good shape you want nothing older there, so why you doing you should see if you can get electrician to come in and give you a whole new panel box give you more breakers in the box so you be able to do what you wanna do with it in the future because you have your dedicated circuit You need your washing machine to be on circuit maybe three or four plugs with that but you need to have your refrigerator on its own circuit you’re gonna need a panel box

    • @notime2bsad
      @notime2bsad  3 месяца назад +4

      Thank you for the comment yes you're 100% right we already have plans to put a box with a separate power we have the power fed into that box but only one line going in. The garage will have its own separate breaker box eventually

      The electric in Thailand is a cross between USA and Europe... normally same colours as USA black for hot and white or grey for neutral but sometimes they use brown for hot(live) and blue for neutral.. It's very difficult to find 3 core cable(containing the ground or earth wire). Quite often they have the 3 pin outlets but only 2 core wires so no earth or ground wire..If you going to be doing much electric you need either a multi -meter or test lamp with 2 probes and test between the GOUND/EARTH pin and hot to prove you actually have continuity to ground.Very important especially with washing machine. Also check and test your RCD or GFCI is working

    Great video. I am enjoying the transformation with vigor and anticipation of how it will look upon completion. Can’t wait for the next video!
    Take your time and maybe look into a new circuit / breaker box, and separate the appliances accordingly. Wiring is a task but you got it down bro. I really like the thought process and this is all going to look so cool. Like i said, i can’t wait for the completion. You’re a great son in law!
    Have fun!

    I feel like I'm getting a new kitchen. I'm liking the new renovations so far. It's good that you can do some of the work yourself. I love doing that kind of stuff as well. I'm excited to watch how the renovation goes, it's going to be beautiful once completed. On a side note, i prefer the black over the white for the kitchen. White kind of feels like an institution to me, hahaha. Like a hospital.

    Your title had me off on the wrong track for a little bit. 555 I'm currently going through what I told myself I'd never do--building a house in Thailand. The rural PEA power isn't currently adequate for what we're building. Like a typical farang, I'm putting power points everywhere, and have high watt A/C along with high watt showers, and maybe even a high watt Japanese toilet. I need more power too. 555 For us, we're having 3-phase installed at the house. For you, you're putting in more outlets. 🙂

    Tradition to pass the family home and land down through the female relations and its done sooner rather than later, hences the yai's dont own anything but of course they are the primary dwellers. We have 2 houses out in the sticks one is the parents and the other is ours. We are bringing up my wife's sister 2 daughters, the more grown up one is telling us we need to put the land and house in her name LOL, obviously im not having that until am dead and buried

      @ccrider8483 I will mention in a video coming up about it There is a black water sewer system. Thailand has standards and permits as well. You Can not drink Tap water in USA....

    • @ccrider8483
      @ccrider8483 3 месяца назад

      @notime2bsad According to some popular sources the USA has safe tap water, however in recent history Flint Michigan had problems with lead contamination. A local greenhouse owner had to drill wells because the public water system was making his plants sick. Personally, I have a well and so far no problems. I also drink from public water fountains. When in SEA I drink bottled water, in the USA usually not.
