The wooden thing was a oven rack puller. The shoe clips I believe were scarf clips. Amazing estate sale.
I totally agree.
Me too. 😂
Yes, scarf clips Danni
Not complaining…. But I’ve been walking around in my house trying to find which smoke detector battery is low and is beeping. Lol 😂 I paused and realized it’s in the video. Again, funny moment for me. Great video and finds in this haul! Awesome job, Danni
Sorry!!!
Hahaha was just looking for my smile alarm too.
@@TheNICHELady it’s okay. I just found it amusing watching the video walking around aimlessly with phone in hand. Of course I couldn’t stop watching. lol. Hey, it’s real life and real things happen! Smile 😊 great job Danni!
Some estate sale people are a pain. There is one local estate sale company that I just won’t deal with. They ask you to make an offer, then when you do they are offended and start yelling that you’re trying to get stuff for nothing and lowballing them. Just give me a price, don’t ask me to name the price if you’re going to be offended!
The silicone flat floppy thing is used to cover dishes in the microwave like a splatter guard and/or seals tops of bowl for storage in fridge. I use mine all the time to keep spatter down in my microwave
Splatter too for boiling pots
The silicone flower goes over a bowl in place of plastic wrap.
The floppy plastic sink stopper thing is actually a bowl cover and it works so well in micro and refrigerator. Now I wonder where mine is???
I use mine all the time. No plastic wrap over bowls and cups in the microwave for me. Goes in the dishwasher too. Also, the small chest you bought is a sewing table. My Mom had one she kept in the living room which she'd inherited from her grandmother... she'd open it up, do some embroidery or mending, could close it up and no one saw the messy threads or bits and bobs.
When you flip the wooden fish, as you did, they become tongs
Just because people only want to do cash doesn’t make them shady. Some people just prefer cash and that’s their choice. It might cost them some sales, but that’s also their choice.
Haven’t looked at all the other comments yet, but I think the silicone round thing is what you put on top of a pot to keep it from boiling over. It conforms to the shape of the top of the pan and creates a kind of suction grip.
That was one amazing estate sale. Must have been hard pickings and what to leave. The paintings were just beautiful. I have noticed that what art you are attracted to, is the same as mine. Love art that takes me there and brings me peace.
Love watching you, Dani. 🫶👍
I understand what your saying, but when I have my yard sales I accept cash only. I will hold something for about an hour if they don't come back, its fair game. People actually ask me if I take cash apps. No, I don't. Maybe when I get my store, but if you go yard saving, take cash.😊❤
Yard sales absolutely a professional business... no
You were right to rant. Mark it at the door that it's 50 percent off "most" things then list what isn't. Geeze
The West Germany clip was a scarf clip. Just wanted to let you know for future reference and that is also what you could use a single shoe clip for. Or dress clip or modify it to a brooch or pendant if you make jewelry.
I agree l knew one viewer would post it the 🧣 clip had many as l did scarves in my younger years go get them they go with the scarves you picked through 😉☀️🔥🥵🌡️🐉🗽🇺🇲🦅🥵 in the 🏙️ today yesterday tomorrow to end of this week stay 🆒😎
The 1st sale was very different from any i have viewed on utube . The artwork and the pottery and the quilts relayed a cozy, homey feeling. Loved it all. ❤
I loved the Estate Sale shopping. You got some great things. I loved the Indian on the horse in the snow picture.
Wow wow wow. I hope you do very well with these gorgeous items. I ❤ my amber earrings and garlic keeper, BTW. Thanks!
You did well, Miss Danni. I enjoyed the video. Super fun to watch you go through the scarves while listening to jazz 😊
My girls learned % from I m shopping😅😅a quick way to figure..10% of $200 is $20 x 4 since it was 40% off. So $80 off. I know it's the long way around, but for me, it takes seconds.
Sorry but I agree the cash register noise is not necessary and distracting
Shoe clip can be used a scarf clip. Watched you buy lots of scarfs.
Hi Danni , I loved the estate sale buys .You're so giving and selfless, always trying your best.Great fun, Danni .🐦 💙 🐦 💙 🐦 💙
An artist lived in this house☺️ good job, Dani!
I love it that you are going nice and slow at the Estate sale ,so fun ! Thanks
A lot of estate sales are cash only
Not here!
I love that last purse you bought, it’s really pretty and looked so soft
I love this blue pottery , it is so beautiful
You are not ranting. We need to know your feelings about situations like this. It's a good teahing lesson and a warning for us to watch it for sellers like that. 😊
Start taking a magnifying glass with you. I would definitely have to. 🤗🤗🤭🤭💯💯💕
Many estate sales in my area are cash only and those that do allow Venmo etc charge an extra fee. This is usually stated in the online description of the sales.
It was a scarf cliip
Yep, not a shoe clip, a scarf clip.
Wow what some great items, lol I got over whelmed watching this estate sale.the prices were great too.Dani you always make good choices.Thank you for always sharing.
You are both so very special. You really compliment each other. I love your honesty and know when the time is right you will find what you both need.❤
All the carved wooden pieces are priceless to me!! My uncle carved and he did a little pig with the smallest corkscrew tail I’ve ever seen!!!
Fish tongs are salad tongs. Flip them “around” and they become spring loaded and you grab greens. Love mine.
That which you thought was a shoe clip is actually a scarf clip. That's why there's only one. 🙂
The wooden thing looks to have multiple purposes. You could use it when it was flat to pull the hot oven rack out or push it back in. When you flipped the two layers around it became a serving tong.
Holy cow Danni, I just bought every single thing at this sale...In my mind!! LOL Good stuff and great prices. ❤❤
I love the Fossil purse!
Omgosh i walked thru my whole house looking for which smoke alarm was out! Lol
The wood fish was to pull the oven rack out. When hot
The “not a sink stopper” is a bowl cover, as someone said below. It does a weird suction to the bowl. I just wanted to say that they have them for cups also. There are all kinds of designs and are great to keep your tea or coffee or water or soda warm or helps keep my drink colder. Also, it keeps the flies or gnats out if your outside.
I use mine to cover bowls when heating something in the microwave or just to cover food in the fridge, as a replacement for plastic cling film. As long as you can get a good seal around the edges. I just make sure to leave a tiny gap if using in the microwave.
I didn’t think about a gap if it’s used in the micro. Good to know.
Dani. The wood things are tongs used usually for getting toast out of the toaster you almost had it when you flipped them around! Ha i was yelling yes,yes you got it! Then, you said i dont know what those are😩(12:23 on the meter) wood with fish head..they are really nice to have to get English muffins or bagels without getting burned on the toaster! Just a heads up for next time! I got mine at pampered chef... about $12-15.
Nice items! I like the cat pin from the 2nd sale. They should have had a sign near the jewlery.
I’m all for the rant - Time is money!! You spent time sorting and choosing for zero return. ☀️💚
Love your hair pulled back. It looks so good.
Thank you so much 😀
I lived in Reno from Nov. 1977 to May 1983. The airport was small. You would enter a building the size of a &-11, then out the back door and walk the stairs into the airplane! Then we moved to Tucson, AZ May 1983 to June 1986. My husband retired and moved to PA. He died April 1997. Then I moved to Florida. Small world!
Yay finally the jewelry stand.
I love all of the pieces you’ve gotten so far
Danny, I would have dropped more than 1000 at the first estate sale! You had great self control 😂😂😂
Calling those running the 2nd Estate Sale out should be taken as constructive criticism. The first sale was the gem!
Not a shoe clip but a scarf clip
WOWZER!! Lots of good stuff!!
I absolutely love the tiny shoe it was so unique and beautiful. Love everything you do, Danni. Watch you always ❤
The blocks of the first quilt looked like big snails, so cute!
the Charles Vance flower thing by the sink is a pot lid- have actually switched to using all those kind of pot lids
Love the values on each item but the sound makes the viewing annoying and choppy. Maybe just leave the value. I watch with head phones so my volume is up to hear your voice and then the cha ching noise is much louder but if i turn it down i cant hear you speak. If you choose to leave the noise then maybe the volume of it can be lowered.
So, so good. I like so much seeing you thrifting, I could spend hours listening you 😊 I am really glad you found so much beautifull things. 👏
That Autumn painting! I want depending on price!!
Wow, you got some amazing items at that sale. Great prices and comps. 🎉🎉🎉
that clip is for scarves. You pull the scarf thru in various ways
WOW!! What a sale! I just went to an estate sale and filled my car for $12. Makes you feel like you hit the jackpot. Some of it is for my yardsale side & some of it was for my eBay side.
I have the little " wood shoe" i use it for toothpicks
The placemats and matching napkins are from Indonesia, and feature shadow puppets, very ornate puppet performance theatre style, in places like Bali, Jakarta, all in Indonesia.
Shoe clip can be used for scarf
It's not a shoe clip but a scarf clip i have some from the 80.
I just watched you when you were in the Goodwill boutique and there was a glass dome with a wooden ball on top, I looked it up and it says it was a terrarium.
Wow that's awesome and you found the cream of the crop!❤ Blessings daily Danni ❤California
Don't blame you for being upset Danni about the 2nd estate sale! I would have been too! But you got some great deals at the first one! Love the paintings you got!
Do the small groupings. It will be a while lot of less work for you. You won't have to do any.monitoring after grouping your items. Danni
I’m so very excited for you. I hope you find some jewelry too.
That black silk dress you got for $5 I think you should wear that to your daughter wedding..I feel like it would look wonderful on you
You got lots of nice things from the first estate sale. I dont blame you for ever wanting to do business with the company from the second estate sale. And as far as noises go the cha-ching didnt bother me at all. ✌️👌👍😊
I love your channel, you are the #1 thrifter to watch!!
Wow, thank you!
The small pottery vase with the floral motif was raku.
Wonderful hall on the signed pottery. I sell a lot in my vintage booth. You find some great stuff that you could sell in a booth.
Loved the carrot pin‼️ Beautiful pottery pieces!
Those Asian silk pillows are your color…gorgeous…great sale
That round gold thing from Germany is a scarf pin like you put the ends of the scarf thru. I collect them.
great haul today..i would prefer u put stuff in ur shop..since i dont do well with what not sales
All these things sound like good ideas for sales. I hope you make a good profit.
Hi Danni! I was willing you to buy that miniature boot, and you did! And i was willing you to get that two tone green pottery that looked like a cracked egg when you took the lid off, and you didn't. Lol! Great sale!!
Try half and half with your cereal. 1 gram of sugar abs 1 carb
So fun! Love it! I love my $10 and under Category! Thanks for mentioning it!
Wow. Yes. Wonder what was there before. But,,, onward. What an assortment of things!
You were also probably thinking about this too - they can steal easier from their client.
Wow wow wow that was great finds. I wish I was there too. Great video👍👍
The woodenthing os a toast tong for getting hot toast out. Use one all the time. Can’t eletrocute myself with these 😂😂
Did you get any jewelry? That was so exciting. Thank You for sharing your wonderful life.
Hi Danny, the placemats are Indonesian, it is called batik. And the clip is not a shoeclip but a sjawlclip. So one is okay.
The lizard with the thick tale is a Salamander.
I think that folding wooden tool around 12:20 😢was salad tongs. I have something similar. It folds flat one way so it's easy to transport, and folding it the other way makes it slightly open to pick up the salad pieces.
The bright painted letters that you didn't mention are from La Palma, El Salvador. I collect many crosses and other painted items from there. Just love them and wanted to give them a shout out!😊. Love your videos. Learn tons 20.49
I was checking out the blue pottery at your shop but the ruffled dish appears to be more like a pie dish than the "bottom plate" you have it listed as. I could be mistaken but it does make more sense, Or you can use it either way I suppose.
I think what you thought was a shoe clip is actually used for scarves.
No cash register noise please is soon annoying
I think that "shoe clip" was actually a scarf clip. There are some really nice clips to be found. On your sale l would get a stand with steps. The set your smalls with the price and a number scan tiers as sold remove and put another item up. They pre priced and marked it went extremely fast. People just stated # of item and price. Sold quickly. Cheaper items were on 1st tiers then more expensive. Camera set up was on items close as they could get it.
I like Whatnot sales but I recently heard you say you could not or would not do anymore Whatnot sales. I would like you to sell smaller items in your shop. I often wonder where you are selling some of the smaller items you pick up.
Glad they left you some awesome stuff. I love the first picture. It speaks to me. 😊
Your finds were amazing! It was a fantastic estate sale. Too bad about the jewelry at the second sale. It was a great day for you.
Oh, those blue pillows!
🌷🌷🌷 wow! very nice Danni, love the small wooden shoe
