It's so great to see that voices from people like Francis Weller are given a platform! Thank you so much. While watching the video, I was a bit surprised to notice that the spaces in between the sentences were cut out.. I realize it's probably to shorten the video.. at the same time to me, this creates an artificial conversational 'speeding up', which interferes with the nature of this inner alchemical work, which is to 'slow down'. And so I missed the spaciousness in the answers of Francis, to allow his words to sink in. I must admit I did not watch the whole video because of that..
Right to the core of life... and death and grief... and how expanding our (emotional) range is key to the depth and fullness of being human... a big thanks to both of you!
Thank you so much for recording and sharing this. I’m reading the wild edge of sorrow and the words are jumping off the page with truth and the song of the world. Please could you help me on one thing? I’d like to start a talking group and create a community around initiation and grief. Can you recommend any resources that would help me lead this group?
Francis actually has a program where he trains people on holding grief with others. I would reach out to him directly on his website and ask for some next steps! He’s so great.
It's a lovely podcast with Francis. The massive microphone is not necessary ...and I don't like the advertisements ... or the reference to "monetising". Initiation has nothing to do with any of this.... Perhaps time to let go of the personality sign (microphone etc), pruning the podcast into a beautiful soulful rose... less interested in monetising initiation ??
Respectfully, please don’t paint the individual with such rigid brush strokes. We don’t yet know how to be communities without othering…look at how tribal and divided we have become. The individual soul needs to find wholeness within first, then bring that to community. To go looking for wholeness in the community is dangerous.
