The beautiful spirit of this larger than life man is alive in every note. And we must be honest, he has lost a step or two in his playing yet this takes nothing away and in fact, highlights the 80 year olds undying love and relationship with this instrument!
What is not so common with great maestros is preserving the quality of sound in the years of a whole carrier, but Pepe Romero has a really beatiful sound, even the best ever! Incredible effects on the last piece and this award is so well deserved, long life to all Romeros!
