I'm so baffled by the ubiquitous tendency to take Focused Growth.. not only that, but nearly everyone refers to it as having "three _stacks of lifebloom_ up" (4:06) like it's Wrath of the Lich King or something.. Can anyone explain the draw of Focused Growth? Don't say it stacks mastery because it doesn't, although I've heard even r1 resto druids claim this.. Even worse, I've seen people "stack lifebloom to 3" _before_ they start applying rejuvs; idk if he's recommending this too but there's people actually doing that..
you get mana cost of lifebloom reduced by 8% to prevent ooming, and then for each stack you get 8% healing, stacking up to 24% increased lifebloom healing at 3 stacks. just a lot more lifebloom healing and mana saved

As far as mana is concerned, maybe I've underestimated that factor because I'm used to Master Shapeshifter preventing me from ever touching the 90% mark.. still, percentually, how much mana cost is LB really responsible for? I like having an instant HoT that can proc Blooms, you see; and the fact that it potentially applies to multiple targets and provides a stack of mastery is really the cherry on top. Its HpS is actually not bad, it's just short. But especially with the PvP talent coming in 11.1 that extends HoT duration by 1 sec on all (max 3) targets, it will also generally proc a bloom, which also counts for mastery for some reason. Maybe it's worth trying out, maybe it's not. In any case, thanks for the answer
i cant wait for them to remove the focused growth pvp talent cause u said it 3 globals for lifebloom to stack. but 4 set bonus is massive rejuv healing every 15 secs. next patch changes alot will see
