    Dennis Gage let us strip his own truck in his own yard with the Dustless Blaster. In the show, only a few short clips were used as B-Roll footage, but in this video we show you a little bit more of this famous project.
    Your safety is important to us. Videos are filmed in a controlled environment for illustrative purposes only. Always follow your operations manual and wear all applicable PPE.

    This is also known as vapor or aqua blasting. Commonly used in Great Britain by motorcycle and automotive shops for many years to clean aluminum and cast iron engine blocks and parts without damage, leaving an like new finish. Here in the US we seem to be a little behind the curve as I cannot find anyone in my area that can do this work or even knows what I'm talking about, for that matter.

    Used to work at a place that made insulated panels for cars and trucks. They used dry ice thru small blasters. Worked great at cleaning the molds. You could clean them right on the press with very little mess.

      It uses approximately 20 gallons of water per hour, which is far less than the average power washer. The abrasive is doing much of the work!

    • @DustlessBlasting-MMLJ
      @DustlessBlasting-MMLJ  6 лет назад

      this video is using recycled bottle glass as the media. The water, abrasive and rust inhibitor are mixed in the blast pot. You have an adjustable range of psi based on the surface and finish level you are trying to achieve.

      Typically in a bead blast cabinet...plastic and rubber isn't affected by bead blasting in my experience. So wire and plastic brake line should be fine considering there is water in there too and not straight beads.
