This is insane. Definitely explains a lot. It always seemed like Sylvester was 2 different people, but this isn’t what I had in mind. This is definitely shaping up to be one hell of a finale.
I’m wondering if this is what the writers had in mind the whole time. Like did this actor know since the beginning? To think, people were excited at first about Starman returning
This was a dark scene. I dunno if theres a darker scene in all of the arrowverse. And absolute kudos to joel McHale for the monologue. Chilling!!!

Just realise the sad thing, it meant that slyvester could have been revived but due to the ultra humanite he’s truly gone
The JSA brought Sylvester back after shutting down the Ultra Humanite for good
The ultra humanite destroy Sylvester’s brain and took over his body,which means he tricked Rick into taking out the limiter on his hourglass!
Starman's Brain was already long gone before Ultra Humanite got his body.

It was so shocking when Ultra Humanite said him talking to Yolanda and the others was all part of his plan. I hope Pat will live because we can't lose another important person. This is gonna be a real showdown in the finale

When Ultra Humanite stopped for a minute after Pat said Sylvester’s name, it’s like he’s not in complete control of the body. I think Sylvester is still in there somewhere
I'm hoping the ultimate plot is that Sly recovers his body.

@@user-ks8kn4hx8q The staff preserving the body has to mean it preserved his brain regardless of the UH's reasoning.
@@israeliqueen153 The staff caused the body to heal, it could have caused the brain to heal too, but one detail missing. The brain could have replaced the damaged tissue but it would have been a blank slate like putting a fresh harddrive in a computer.
Ultra Humanite said it was because he gets so lost in his role he forgets he isn’t truly Sylvester he probably was just so deep into it he paused.

Was he? If the staff preserved starman’s body, it also preserved his brain.
He was (presumably) killed by Dragon King with the brain transplant, unless Dragon King put it into a different body.
Perhaps that’s what im saying ??
This was a great twist, I do wonder if they had this planned all along or if this was a spur of the moment thing to make a plot twist.

Nah this was definetly planned. Remember that Sylvester was kinda dead. This honestly is the only thing that really makes sense
nah it was planned. Season 4 they never got to make was gonna be finding Sylvester's brain and rescuing the Seven Soldiers of Victory from Nebula Man I think. We were getting time travel. It's a shame really.
@@erosion271 I heard that the directors even said it was planned him to be the Ultra Humanite in season 2 when he pulled up to the diner to talk to Pats ex wife when he was looking in the mirror and we thought he was checking his hair he was actually trying to cover his scar.
It makes one wonder how UH knew how to use the staff's advanced techniques. The only thing I can think of is that he saw Starman use them before.
He's likely fought Starman enough times to know his tricks.

Ultra humanite is a genius and a long term planner. UH probably studied the power of the staff long before taking up the Sylvester Role. He had to know exactly how Sylvester would act to fool his closest allies
Since Sylvester is really dead, that means Charles McNider is the only living member left of the original JSA

No, I think it's after he got jumped at the trailer, shortly after being examined he got his brain cut out. Both Drs would see the surgery scar.

Based off the fact he's working with icicle and icicle killed the Crocks and the gambler I think Starman definitely was gonna kill them in the store but not because of his anger issues but for the plan. Same with attacking shade and "making" him leave

No listen to what the ultra humanite said. Remember that starman got jumped by the killer. So it's safe to say Sylvester did survive only to be switched out by the ultra humanite after being attacked at the trailer.

@@endofaneraoutnow3473 That's y I said it don't make sense. You'd clearly see Sly's scar because of his head mostly being bald. I stick to my original theory that this is an alternate ending due to the fact Sly's attitude changed after the killer attacked him.

After watching the twelfth episode of Season 3, I just can't believe that Sylvester / Starman was really the Ultra-Humanite all along.
I should've known that something was up with him ever since that last argument he had with Pat about Jordan / Icicle wanting peace of the eleventh episode of Season 3.
And I even posted a comment on that clip that I was with Sylvester / Starman about taking down Jordan / Icicle and helping him ruin Icicle until he begs for mercy.
What was I thinking siding with Sylvester / Starman now that it's been revealed that he was the Ultra-Humanite the whole time?
I feel like such an idiot.
I really didn¿t see this coming. Having Ultra-humanite was one thing, but Two brain operations? Starman being Ultra Humanite all this time?? Even when we knew something was wrong with Sylvester, this changes everything completely.
This was so dark. Hope they find Pat.
I've seen some fucked stuff happen in superhero shows, but this twist was darker than my jeans after eating taco bell with no restroom in sight

Also recall starman looking to get into dragon king's lab & by himself. he coulda just got the code from dragon king. he could've even pretended to blast it open. nope Sylvester has to have been alive.
But after his examine, no dr noticed a surgery scar. So there's more to this.

My only complaint with this season was how Ultra Humanite wasn’t the sole main antagonist and how we barely saw him in his gorilla form.

The plot twist was definitely just created because there was no surgery scar on Sylvester’s head.
True. Although the cosmic energy from the Cosmic Staff gave him a healing factor akin Wolverine, so it's likely any scars have been erased. If the body had an autopsy & was embalmed for burial, the healing factor had to have regenerated all the organs they cut up during the autopsy, drained out the embalming fluid, and specially erased the huge Y-shaped incision on his torso, which Sylvester's body lacks.
I'm watching the whole season, waited for every episode to be out. Great twist. I was thinking of alt Earth versions, a legit resurrection due to the Cosmic Staff but with Lazarus Pit-level side effects, or a result of Crisis because it established that these other shows are their owm Earths. The usual type of suspects because of all the stuff we've seen in the ArrowVerse over the years.
I honestly didnt think of a villain going Frankenstein on Starman.
But part of me wishes Starman was actually an asshole all along, and Pat saw his true colors. That wouldve been a nice twist too, AND we couldve gotten Pat punching him in the face and showing badass dark side of him that he never wants to go back to.
Seriously, before the twist, I was thinking over my hatred for Batman, thinking about dialing it back because Bruce never did what Sylvester did. But it wasnt really Slyvester, so Batman's still the biggest asshole in DC.
