- William Nylander considers new hockey traditions, including mandatory 50/50 ticket purchases by fans or allowing players to wear custom skates in the warm up skate. After signing an extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Nylander donated a new Volvo and ton of Bauer equipment to the kids at playing at Angela James Arena in Flemingdon Park in Toronto. He remembers the hockey traditions from his youth as well as hearing curse words for the first time in NHL dressing rooms. Finally, Cabbie pitches a design for an all white custom Bauer skate and introduces William Nylander to freezies after games.
If he's getting white skates, he should ask the TSN team for their mirrored visor and Jesse's bucket for the complete look

I use to see William with his brother and father all the time at Rockville arena when he was a little kid and his dad played for the Caps.....pretty funny to see him grown up and in the NHL.

We've had that kind of popsicle in Sweden just smaller ones sold in packages with like cola, rasberry, tropical and vanilla or more like Sprite/7-up flavor. A liquid at first, leave it in the freezer for an hour or so then you have a solid popsicle to squeeze out.

@@ks5th His AAV is 6.9 after this season. And its always tough for players to join the regular season 2 months in. Not to defend him for not putting up points, but this season is a wash, what matters is the playoffs for him now , in my opinion.

William Nylander has no right to voice any opinions about the NHL. He should be on the Marlies -- at best! He chose greed over team loyalty, and is now cruising around the rink collecting on average about 1 million dollars per goal (3 in 31 game = 8 a season for close to 7 million , and let's not forget that he's a minus player overall). He's poisoned the chemistry on the Leafs. and his contract will prove to be one of the worst in NHL history. By holding out for over a 1/4 of the the season to get very top dollars, he's clearly shown where his heart is, and it is NOT on the ice or in his game.
Shame on him and shame on Babcock and the Leafs management for giving into the greedy little man. Stop trying to justify his existence and your decision by keeping him around. Find another dump situation like old management had to with Dion Phaneuf, which was arguably a worse contract
(LOL I see Nylander got a really lucky goal tonight against the Habs after I wrote the above. It was quite the comeback by the Leafs after being down 3-0 at the end of the first. They dug down and found the type of close hard play they need to find every game. Hopefully, that was a sign a wake up call has registered.)
