I heard God speak to my heart today. Rarely ever happens, and when it does, I usually brush it off like it's nothing. I think a lot of us do that. The enemy comes and deceives us. Convinces us, it's nothing. He tries to rationalize the word of God on our hearts. But this time, I think I should share. I really feel like this message is meant for someone who needs it. Maybe that person is even myself. If you're a believer in Christ but continuously find yourself falling into the same sin over and over again, even after you've begged for freedom from it, you've cried out to God asking for forgiveness countless times but for some reason you still commit that same sin. Whether it's sexual, lying, stealing, etc. We obviously all sin and fall short of the glory. But if you're a believer who can not get freedom from something like porn then you, my friend, are being demonically oppressed. Heavily. Not possessed because a true believer has the Holy Spirit. But oppressed. Where the enemy is constantly bombarding your head with evil thoughts. Making it almost impossible not to give in to sin. Obviously, this doesn't apply to every believer. Not everyone can relate to this. They can't because they are people who are regularly communing with God. They know their God and their God knows them. They're at peace. I heard God speak to my heart today. Rarely ever happens, and when it does, I usually brush it off like it's nothing. I think a lot of us do that. The enemy comes and deceives us. Convinces us, it's nothing. He tries to rationalize the word of God on our hearts. But this time, I think I should share. I really feel like this message is meant for someone who needs it. Maybe that person is even myself. If you're a believer in Christ but continuously find yourself falling into the same sin over and over again, even after you've begged for freedom from it, you've cried out to God asking for forgiveness countless times but for some reason you still commit that same sin. Whether it's sexual, lying, stealing, etc. We obviously all sin and fall short of the glory. But if you're a believer who can not get freedom from something like porn then you, my friend, are being demonically oppressed. Heavily. Not possessed because a true believer has the Holy Spirit. But oppressed. Where the enemy is constantly bombarding your head with evil thoughts. Making it almost impossible not to give in to sin. Obviously, this doesn't apply to every believer. Not everyone can relate to this. They can't because they are people who are regularly communing with God. They know their God and their God knows them. They're at peace.
