Hi Eric Brilliant ,this one is soooo helpful. I've had to do it a number of times before I could connect the dots and also get it in the mindhmmmmm interesting, this one helps me to get mellow........I've been doing a few a day , a few times a day & that seems to be a key that is working for me. I'm alot more flexible in a few short weeks...........they are good for leaving the reactive cycle which is hell, heavy /intense emotions/thoughts ....but now there is much more cushioned space inside of me & yes ,also around my very body. These movements help us from these heavy ,horrible emotions, the timeframe is way shorter for shock & anger & saddness,guilt.............so I feel emerged ..... I wrote in a poem This poem is like saddling water!!!1 A very beautiful vision , a way better sensation to livr inside of. Thank you Eric............Eric I wrote out a message in your business section. It would not flip through??? There is a movement in which the arms are glued to the torso??/ I'm looking for it. I am getting a grip. Iam becoming more quiet ,intragal. This is the only way to live. Thank you Eric Blessings on your journey Mikayla

If you can do this one, you are seeing the interconnected lines of your inner space. At first, I had difficulty with these lines, too.
Have you tried this video, the *Inner-X Practice* ? It takes you to those lines in a way that you can relax out of the tension: ruclips.net/video/ci4zu4qrUKU/видео.html I think of it as one of my most advanced movements. It's about knowing your inner territory.
We are so steeped in the tensions of life. Since our brains are good at making tension habits, well, you see what happens. What a glorious miracle that you are freeing yourself!
The arms pulled to torso may be in this video: *Relax Tense Hands* : A Somatics Sequence for Arthritis
ruclips.net/video/T1CPMfOg3i0/видео.html 11m:33s This is not just for the hands, it also unburdens the neck.
*Integral:* necessary to make a whole complete; essential or fundamental.
*Integrated:* with various parts or aspects linked or coordinated.
The integrated, integral you! Get to know that person. She is very cool. She has found her resilience to stress and the can rise above the onslaught of life. She is on a path of being free.

      There you go.
The gentleness of it, the clarity of your awareness and seeing of it, the presence that you have with yourself, all contributes to making that beautiful change.
These places are where the tensions take hold in us. These are the roots. Can you revisit this one to keep the freedom going?
What's the softest teaching you can give your system so that it can remember the ease of these inner spaces moving?

If you can do this part 2, you can see at a quite advanced level. Very often we get stuck in hidden contractions by the intent of the contraction is to connect your very opposite places in the breathing space. So I'm glad that you tried it and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. It may be a movement that you want to put in your daily routine.
If you'd like to try the floor version of the Inner-X, here's the video:

Greetings Carol. Thank you so much for letting me know the videos have been helpful. You can make a beautiful change with an easy enjoyable practice. Figure out which movements address your hidden tensions and practice often. The stuckness is hidden, just out of view. Learn to look for where your system needs some of your teaching and loving guidance so it can let that stuff go. You can do it. If you need any guidance, please contact me. A good way to do it is to try some of my video playlists for issues that resonate with you. Again, thank you.

What movement lines and places in the body have evaporated from the awareness? Can you restore your ability to move these inner lines easily?

RUclips seems to have clipped off my earlier reply. Thank you for exploring this sequence. You have a powerful ability to reconnect to these places, and movements, that are easily forgotten. How can you find the places that never move, that have disappeared from the awareness. These movements take you there.
Practice often and look for the places that are forgotten. You can free yourself. Again, thank you for your comment.

Hi eric i do this one daily, still learning it, I sometimes am doing it and saying i don't know ,so it;s challenging to feel into these spaces. they have been filled with strife..........yesterday I receive potential a threat to my finaces in the mail, the surface face began to be upset but the belly be peaceful, I knew not to worry or react or distress & not sleep............. I just let it go and breathed ,really a deep breathe breathed me to beautiful sleep...........as I awoke that mail was not the first nor second thing just basking in wellbeing as I already told you I am getting a grip Mikayla

Part of regaining control and understanding of these places is that you can retain some autonomy. You are not so completely at the effect of the outside world. That's why this practice is so helpful. I can't imagine the state I'd be in without this practice. I used to be so caught up in my stress. It was constant. Knowing it is possible to step out of it is the gift of this process. I know life give lots of challenges. This allows you to not be eaten up by it so much. Thank you for sharing this story. Find the movements that work for you and practice often.

    • @ericcoopersomatics
      @ericcoopersomatics  Год назад +2

      Greetings Vaishnavi,
Thank you for those suggestions. I have some strategies for face and eyes.
I encourage you to consider that the tension of the muscles of the face and eyes are related to the deeper tensions of the torso, the patterns that make posture and keep you stuck in specific lines of breathing constriction. I intend to make the videos for eyes and face. The most effective strategies focus almost entirely on the torso. The periphery is the finishing explorations.
      Check out these playlists.
As you go into the tensions of stress, make the facial tension and eye tension a voluntary addition to each full body pattern. Can you begin to see the automatic cascade
      ruclips.net/p/PLFLw4vgr7ayi01UZkxj4X5X2epj74vDxf
And do the same for asymmetry: This asymmetry playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLFLw4vgr7ayi01UZkxj4X5X2epj74vDxf
Can you learn to pandiculate your facial tension as it relates to the full body patterns?
The neck is almost always the victim the torso and shoulder tension:
      Consider this one: ruclips.net/video/c3ojqB4pK2M/видео.html
If you write to me (eric@inspiresomatics.com) with more specifics, I can guide you. Even better if you fill out my intake form ( inspiresomatics.com/intake-form/ ).

      You're very welcome Cindy!
Sometimes the sides are a good way to enter some stuckness between front and back, so the part one leads to the part two. And it always has to be considered as breathing limitations. Can you close what's limited? Can you teach it to open?

So simple and effective! It’s amazing how I can feel these non-neck movements gently pull the tension out of the neck. This is so much more gentle and effective than working on the neck directly.

    • @ericcoopersomatics
      @ericcoopersomatics  Год назад

The neck is being called upon to save the day. If you look deeper you can find the roots of the issue.
This standing movement sequence also frees the torso to help the neck: ruclips.net/video/c3ojqB4pK2M/видео.html

      Greetings Mikayla,
As you see the breathing as opening and closing, a movement, focus your awareness to find some places that don't move well for the opening and closing. Where we are stuck is hidden. Part of the "Reorganization" is to see and acknowledge those blurry hazy areas of stuckness. Where does it like to hide? Where is the holding?
We all have the lessons life is giving us. I know what it is to be an angry cave man. Can we free ourselves from those tension habits so we can more often be our best selves?
A new sequence about the tension of anger: ruclips.net/video/AtOvGRCBeqs/видео.html
An older sequence about the tension of anger: ruclips.net/video/iomzDsnEdW8/видео.html
Yes, love the flower, love the dirt.
Ps. If you can, in a quiet moment, re-imagine the shame, look carefully at the tensions of it. That may be a good place to explore. Be in it. That may be the opportunity for some freedom. The habits run deep.
Many blessings to you. thank you for being so intrepid in your self-dedication and practice.

Please consider that these movements are enough. Put it to the test. I places seem to require pressure, they may not be linked as holding patterns in the system. I was able to completely solve my sore muscle tension problem with pandiculation of the interconnnected tensions and overlapping patterns. Pushing on the muscles is not the feedback the system needs to escape the holding pattern. It needs to sense the lengthening along with the perception of decreasing tonus. I encourage you to stop pushing on your muscles. Then, you can see what the epicenters of tension are. Pandiculate the tensions that overlap those lines. I can be complicated. It's also very simple. A cat can do it. I am looking for to our session.
