    Ok but have you ever tried using a clean spoolie to finely mill the powder? It’s a game changer. Great for turning a pressed powder into a loose powder as well. I do this every time I repress.

    If you spray it with alcohol it works better because you aren’t over saturating an area making it then become hard pan when it dries. People use way too much alcohol, don’t evenly apply it then wonder why the powder feels like Elf’s baked highlighter, where you have to scrape the top off to even get any of the product to be able to apply properly.

    Make sure to let it dry completely!

    compacted powder like this is actually full of binders and will go back together without adding anything. you can just put like a tissue over it and something flat and dense to push it back down and it will be good as new

      I tried that with my KAB glow powder. It still isn't completely compacted down. It appears that way and then starts crumbling

    • @whybekwhy
      @whybekwhy 2 месяца назад +2

      @@christywhite1701 I think that's partially because we use less pressure when hand-pressing than they do in-factory... and also, probably because some of the liquid content in those powders evaporates between manufacturing, purchase, and eventual repressing. I actually do think in a lot of cases, some added rehydration is necessary, especially with a powder that is very old, or that was very dry to begin with.

      That’s a good idea. I’ll try that because I really don’t want to use alcohol- very drying and irritating to the skin, especially those with sensitive skin. Thanks!
