Adding clear labels (percentages in this case) improves any graph. It provides the benefit of precision, which is left behind when you opt for a graph instead of a table. This is true too of column/bar charts. Even so, they are a virtual requirement to get the whole story in the case of pie charts while not as much so with bar/column charts.
