Seikima II are touring in Japan from October 6, 2022, to February 15, 2023.
Mary's Blood and Nemophila's lead guitarist Saki was inspired to become a musician afer seeing Sekima II on TV.
They haven't toured outside Japan since 2010, A friend of mine went to see them in November and said they were on fire. They have original rhythm guitarist Jail O'Hashi instead of Ace, but I've heard the performance is still very strong.

I've been a fan of SEIKIMA-II for more than 30 years. The name of the band is "seikimatsu" in Japanese. seikimatsu" means "the end of the century" in Japanese.
("2" and "TSU" is a very close sound in Japanese. It is a kind of gag, reading "2" as "TSU".)
Unfortunately, due to their gimmick, they broke up on December 31, 1999, and then they reunited for a "special black mass tour" (they call thier concert tour as "BLACK MASS TOUR") in the year of a good number counting from their formation or breakup.
The tour was originally scheduled for before the COVID-19 period, but since they are doing it from late last year through February of this year, some tours are already sold out in this February.
(I've been to their Blackmass in last Novenber, in Osaka!!!)
Their stage performances are always focused on entertaining their fans, and before COVID-19, the audience even sang along with their performances. Their stage is the stage to "see or watch" you are always told. Of course the performances are great though.
(They also play jazz in their song called "RATSBANE" and, In addition, each member of the band sometimes performs on other songs, switching instruments.).
They also have a keyboardist on stage, but he is a supporter, not an official member.
In case you are wondering, their gimmick was to conquer the earth from their debut to the end of 1999 with all the members being demons. (That is also the reason why they broke up...)

Metal and theatrics never go wrong with me, I love the combination.
Seikima-II are still active and their main vocalist is still the same as in the video, the legendary Demon Kakka. He's an absolute showman and known for always being in keyfabe, never breaks character. I love his vocals and the high tone dramatic vibrato but like other japanese metal singers it's something that sometimes puts off some people, not because it sounds bad, it's just not their thing, which is totally fine.
About live performing, looks like they're at it right now, according to wiki:

I'm going to see if Mrs. Heretic and I can make a trip out to Japan in February.
Fly to Japan, invite Saki (Nemophila) to a concert, buy tickets. You will have an interpreter and a guide. Or maybe Saki knows them? Saki is their big fan. He always lists them as his favorite band and the guitarists as his idols. In Destrose she played a guitar like Jail O'Hashi (Aria Pro II, Jail is not on this record), Then she started playing Killer (Grave Stone) like Luke Takamura. On the Kiss - Detroit Rock City cover, the girls have Kiss members' make-up, Saki has Ace Shimizu's (Seikima II) make-up. In all the recordings, when Saki plays in his room (?) there is a poster on the wall advertising the new album Seikima II. I don't know what the song is actually about, but it's the opening track of the only album that I own by them.
An Oni is a type of Japanese demon which looks somewhat similar to a troll or an ogre as far as I know.
I have only listened through the album twice or so, since I recently bought it, but that whole album sounds like a story to me. This track sounds like the beginning of that story, probably with an explanation on what's happening. It has plenty of sound effects of people screaming and such in the tracks as far as I remember. The title of the album is translated to "Frightful Restaurant", which is quite ominous with all the screaming in the tracks.

@@THEDavidHeretic 追加情報ですが、他の大黒ミサツアーのチケットは既にSOLD OUTです。この2/15の最後の大黒ミサが終わると暫く彼らのステージを観ることは出来ません。何故なら彼らは悪魔だから地獄に帰ってしまいます。
