I havent seen the movie that popularized this song. But what this song makes me think of is the time not too long ago when an online friend/acquaintance messaged me, telling me they were going to commit suicide by the start of the next day. Its an awful moment to know that someone you know, even if just through the internet, is only about 10 hours away from ending their own life. Its the kind of thing that really makes you rethink things afterwards. I tried to talk them out of it but there was truly nothing I could say to dissuade them. At that point I actually gave up and succumbed to the inevitable. I decided that I would just talk to them, as they were otherwise not talking to anyone else and maybe I could at least help the pain by staying with them just to converse. It was really, really a painful 4 hours but it would have been more painful otherwise. We ended up listening to music together over spotify on discord, but since i dont have premium I just kinda listened along manually and we talked. Anyway, eventually around 4 hours later they informed me that they were going to go and they said their goodbye and I basically frantically diverted the conversation over and over in a natural way for the next hour. It basically worked, we talked until the early early morning and they told me that they didnt want to do what they were now planning for months. I tried to keep just a natural conversation but I was almost breaking down by then out of tension, relief, and just everything. I dont say this to brag about how I saved someone. I say this now because sometimes just a bit of human interaction can truly show someone you do care and that life is worth living. In those confusing hours, the phrase "Do whatever just to stay alive" gained a new meaning for me, and I think this song will now always remind me of how I truly acted on my gut reaction just to keep another human being alive, even during a week when I felt horribly depressed myself. "Just look into the sun as a new days rise" was the dawn in which I awoke to them still being alive and still being here in this world to see that maybe not everything has to always be so bad.
Honestly I have no words, but I want to say thank you even if it wasn't really for the benefit of me, and I think the movie was Warm Bodies, really nice movie, and well if you watch it you'd probably understand the "do whatever just to stay alive" text more

This song always makes me think of my Ex. At the end of our relationship, I'd say days or a few weeks before we broke up, I remember going outside to greet her in the driveway after hearing that she'd gotten home from work. She had the car turned off, but was listening to this song. She wasn't happy, and longed for more in life. I couldn't make her happy. It was a mutual breakup, but it was still really hard. I saw her the other day for the first time in years. She came up to me and gave me a hug and we talked for a brief moment. I've thought of her every day since. It's been 7 years since we broke up, and it seems I haven't gotten over her. I guess once you love someone, a part of you always will.
Best damn movie I've seen in a long time, 5 stars all the way around including the soundtrack. I saw it in the theater with the girl I was dating at the time, didn't want to leave the theater because of the awesome experience this movie was. Perfection.

Funny story. I recently came back from living and travelling around Minnesota for 6 months, prior to leaving i started to have feelings for this girl i met at University who also shared a desire for travelling/adventures. My father accidentally listened this song for the first time and said sounds good as if he knew he would die a couple months later because of sudden heart attack. Dad, i love you and miss you everyday, sincerely your son.
I have some facts that might be true and little do you guys know, Walter works in magazine company called "Life". He's dying there because no one ever put attention to him and don't have anything to do there except just take care of the pictures. And the boss told him that he's fired if he didn't get the last / 25th picture of Sean (called it as Wake up call, we will get there at some point). And later he have enough gut and courage to stand up do some activity nor adventure to keep him feel alive. And in the end he finally got what he achieved for, the 25th picture and accomplish his mission. And the last title for the magazine is "Dedicated to the People Who Made It" and the magazine company where he work named "LIFE", so if we connect all of it, it is Walter achieve his point "LIFE" because he dedicated his life into it. This song always makes me think of my Ex. At the end of our relationship, I'd say days or a few weeks before we broke up, I remember going outside to greet her in the driveway after hearing that she'd gotten home from work. She had the car turned off, but was listening to this song. She wasn't happy, and longed for more in life. I couldn't make her happy. It was a mutual breakup, but it was still really hard. I saw her the other day for the first time in years. She came up to me and gave me a hug and we talked for a brief moment. I've thought of her every day since. It's been 7 years since we broke up, and it seems I haven't gotten over her. I guess once you love someone, a part of you always will.

Funny story. I recently came back from living and travelling around Minnesota for 6 months, prior to leaving i started to have feelings for this girl i met at University who also shared a desire for travelling/adventures. Every new adventure, view and vista i saw and experienced, I wish she had been there with me to see it all. But as time went by she found some one else and I don't know which hurt more, feeling jealous or feeling completely powerless. And I thought long and hard about it on the plane journey home but i guess to no avail. I've always loved this song, more often than not its brought me close to tears because I've longed to travel the world with a significant other and see the beauty and wonders that life has to offer. I think I kinda came close...but missed it by that much :/...this tune was the soundtrack to my adventure

My father accidentally listened this song for the first time and said sounds good as if he knew he would die a couple months later because of sudden heart attack. Dad, i love you and miss you everyday, sincerely your son.

I have some facts that might be true and little do you guys know, Walter works in magazine company called "Life". He's dying there because no one ever put attention to him and don't have anything to do there except just take care of the pictures. And the boss told him that he's fired if he didn't get the last / 25th picture of Sean (called it as Wake up call, we will get there at some point). And later he have enough gut and courage to stand up do some activity nor adventure to keep him feel alive. And in the end he finally got what he achieved for, the 25th picture and accomplish his mission. And the last title for the magazine is "Dedicated to the People Who Made It" and the magazine company where he work named "LIFE", so if we connect all of it, it is Walter achieve his point "LIFE" because he dedicated his life into it.
