A major tip, but with the tablet mode you can set a key to essentially lock your view. This is really helpful because it makes it like your stylus matches perfectly with the point on the screen it is drawing on. Also, make sure your stylus is in pen mode instead of mouse mode
@@Kazzerx oh, another helpful thing is that pressure has an effect when it is in pen mode iirc. So you can actually make variable length lines with one brush
These are honestly pretty fantastic for your first tablet paintings. I used to have a Wacom Intuos tablet, which I LOVED, and currently own a Galaxy Note+ 10 specifically for the Wacom stylus. Being that this video is over a year old, I'm sure you've either been told or figured it out, but yes, some older or cheap brand tablets can result in shaky lines. I don't recall the brand of my first tablet, but as it got on with age, it became very difficult to produce clean art with it.
11:20 at this point.. I would be going back to mouse and keyboard.. I was wondering how the game functions in tablet mode.. and the answers is here. Thank you for saving me money on that part.. I was going to buy a new pen just for this game. unless they fixed it since.. Will see as I watch more and more of your videos.. Keep up the great work. :)
Oh, don't take my experience with it as what every has - I HIGHLY recommend joining the SuchArt Discord channel and checking with other peoples' experiences and what tablets they use! I myself have an older Wacom Intuos PTK-640 - so not top of the line or anything - and there very well may have been updates since I made this video that improve tablet performance. 😎
Thanks for checking it out, K-Mo!! I appreciate your patience, but do keep in mind that I'm trying to get as many viewers' first suggestions done before I do second suggestions for people. It's an awesome idea, but I want to give as many people as possible a fair chance at having their suggestion painted 😁
I'm glad you liked the video! And you're absolutely right - I could probably switch back and forth to really maximize my efforts with KB&M and Tablet. For the video though, I really needed to commit to the concept though and that's where I ran into difficulties 😉
Yeah, it's a bit finicky. If I remember correctly, I think I had to disable my tablet software when playing just to get it to work, but don't quote me on that - this was like a year ago at this point
Not really problems setting it up - I use three monitors so after installing drivers and Wacom app, then limiting my screen shape to just that monitor, it worked well. I struggled with some of the basic controls like rotating, though 😂

Hey! Cool video, but i was wondering, can't you just use your drawing tablet exclusively for painting? And use mouse+keyboard to play normally?

Epic
🤗🤗
Havnt checked in a bit though happy I did
Thanks! I'm glad I tried out my drawing tablet, and we can all enjoy my shortcomings with it 😂
@@Kazzerx ya hey still quite good
I've been frustrated trying to use a wacom tablet with the game. It doesn't read the tablet like any other program so it's very weird

Did you have any trouble getting your tablet to work in game?

Draw shadows of fear nightcore
I don't know what that is 😰
