Part of his always put together look is that his tshirts have clearly been ironed. Few people take the time to iron any more. But it makes such a difference.
Yep, everything is clean, ironed, hung up and clearly taken care of and this is the key. I saw a young punk girl recently and her look was absolutely striking because everything was pure black, not washed out black, everything was beautifully ironed and she had clearly lint rolled before coming out. She was perhaps 17 but she certainly taught me something that day.
@@NattyNarwhaalThey look great, but are not necessarily new. My husband takes incredible care of his clothes and the all look like new, even his shoes, though he's had some items for over a decade. It also helps to have a large wardrobe, as this young man does, because the clothes get rotated more often and last longer.
@@ParkerYorkSmith I'd say you're also the guy every dad needs! I think a hugely popular video would be how to dress/develop style if you're on the heavier side
Getting my clothes tailored has been such a game changer for me. I’m a bigger guy so I used to wear baggier clothes because I thought it was more comfortable. It just made me look so sloppy and unkempt.
If he likes to not have to think too much about his outfits, it can also be helpful to have a limited all over color palette so everything in his closet can mix and match together
Yes this is what I did for my husband. I narrowed his clothing palette down to shades of blue, green, cream, gray, and tan. Now when he just reaches for anything, it always somehow looks coordinated. He said it’s easier to get dressed too because he doesn’t have to think about matching. I know it sounds a bit boring to only wear certain colors but he literally doesn’t care (which is why he was wearing some wildly horrible outfits before 😅)
@@sophievanderbilt1325 I'm getting married soon and haven't had a good style since I enlisted in the military. My fiance loves what I wear now, but if i'm going to be a husband I want to dress the part. I like the way I look in black so that makes things super easy for me. Black and white and some neutral colors thrown in. Easy!
my greatest fashion discovery was chinos and jeans in different colors. not a huge deal, but getting comfortable switching up my look in small ways was the catalyst to bigger changes.
You'll notice these items look best when they are clean and not wrinkled!!! I treat myself to having my blouses done atvthe cleaners. A simple cotton blouse looks so much better when done with a light starch and a good press.
Wow im early! Wanted to say thank you! My dress game has greatly improved and my wife, friends and family notice it! And your channel was a big part of that inspiration.
I think someone stated this before but I really wish you could do a women’s version for this… if I had a a bf or something I’d totally be asking him to watch your channel cuz it’s pure gold!
This man is a genius! Love his style and I'm not even a guy or have anyone who could take his fashion advice. I feel his style reminds me my own style.
I love this. It’s like taking three pairs of pants, three shirts, three extra layer shirts/jackets, 3 pairs of shoes, a small army of jewelry, and staying for two weeks somewhere.
tapered pleated pants were great for preppy, casual, and business. I don't remember the sports clothes things taking off until the 90s. Moms would dress up like flash dance and olivia newton john to go get frozen yogurt, that was really the extent of it, suburban Wagoneer moms, the precursors of soccer moms. Very generic casual looks would be oxford shirt or polo, straight leg jeans or pleated chinos, very basic white tennis shoes, like Adidas Daily, penny loafers, boat shoes.
And probably wearing Accessoires at all. Like a little necklace or watch or bracelet. I think you had a video about jewelery where you said the most important step to jewelery was to even wear it 😂 and you showed how it elevated a jeans and tshirt outfit. That was stuck in my mind!
All I wear in my free time are jeans and Boy Scouts shirts, so this is perfect. I actually already do this though but even just being aware of it helps
One of the big things you’ve taught me besides, be yourself, Is have a solid foundation then slowly work off that until you’ve found things you are or aren’t comfortable with and all of that is a fun experience
If you have something like a metal battle vest (the denim/leather vests or jackets with cut sleeves with music patches), I'd love to see it! I've always been a smaller guy, so i have rough times feeling confident with more outside the box fits.
The best fitting TShirt I ever wore was one I bought off of WISH of all places. It's the variable colored TShirt that has Fila on the front but the F is backwards for obvious reasons. The large fit me perfect. I haven't found any TShirt in stores that fits that well.
Love your videos, Parker! I'm looking for a wardrobe change. I'm a single guy in my 30s and would like something that looks adult but still fun. Any recommendations? 😁
For someone with absolutely zero style (myself), I actually enjoy watching videos on people that have style. Unfortunately I only look like half a human in sweatpants and hoodies. Great video though.
Have you ever talked about your hair care routine? If not, then will you show us a little bit?
Need to!
@ParkerYorkSmith bro, I gotta say, your hair is immaculate
@ParkerYorkSmith Yes Please!
Finally!
Please!!
You are genuinely incredibly gifted at both design and communication. I respect you in both those categories

Hanging shirts and not crowding your hangers goes a long way.

And his tshirts are clearly brand new and not washed 100 times.

He likely has his clothes sent out to be laundered..... hospitality industry. And like others have said, hangs them up.
You’re the dad every guy needs 😅
Haha love that

That green sweater....😩🤌🏻
Seriously I want that green sweater!! Where is it from??
Dude I'm literally obsessed with your style

I had never been this early, so just wanted to say I love your videos, you have a killer style imo 👀✨
Appreciate you!
The first outfit with light blue jeans looked better than anything else in video
Ooo that edit of the chino pants, creative! I'm impressed! (In addition to the style of course 👌)
The light washed jeans had a nicer fit to me 🙂
Keep up the great content!
Yeh, it looks more relaxed
The glitching transition effect made him look like a fashion super hero using his powers LMAO
That green sweater...I have to source one from a thrift store...exciting spark...thanks😊
Nice! A really practical approach rather than expecting someone to instantly become a fashionista.

Day ten of asking for a video about 80s fashion/the different types of men’s fashion during the 80s like preppy, fitness, casual, business.

I love your style tips! Men, you really do need to step it up. ❤ We love a sharp dressed man.😊

What a great service you provide.
I would agree. Most people tend to wear a size too big, I've seen
EDIT: If anyone wants to know the song, it's an edited version of "Show Me How"
Nice thanks a lot
Then you have others that wear Ts that are too small
Great song that, glad to have the baseline stuck in my head again

The fit of the first pair of t-shirt and jeans were way better
Even in the “before photo” you’re fit ngl 😂

Can you do a cowboy/western fashion inspired outfits video?? Id love to see!
Fit is everything. Raglan sleeves always fit shoulders well. Too large or too tight are turn offs.

oh those looks are so nice 🥰
I love the Jimi Hendrix shirt in the beginning, you should have styled that.
I would love love love to see your take on an inspired by mythology series!!! Would be cool to see your myth loki next to mcu loki

Great video, nice Jimi Hendrix shirt as well.
Plz.... Recommend something flexible in style for Architects as both casual and semi formal.
Amazing video.
Love the Grey hair .👍👍👍
Wait wait wait. Please a whole video on FIT! How should things fit? What to check?
Same question but in tropical weather, he can’t use layers
This is awesome thanksssss

Could you style converse shoes with formal wear??
Great ideas! Is that an 18" necklace? I think my necklaces are way too long, and yours seem to work great!

Can you show us gpod outfits for college students? I think thatd be interesting, maybe styling the fit after different majors?
I need help with me look! I remember like the 80's causal look / Miami vice style with wall street style.
Good video, but also great choice of music! Men I Trust is an awesome band :)
Proving once more that being stylish is a skill that you have to learn. “I’m just not stylish” just means you don’t care enough to try
Practical. Nice.
"Fit" next to impossible to find.
Exactly what my husband needs to see!
Purple and white
Great style tips if you want to look like a suburban dad going to a family barbeque
Can you do a subtle hobbit aesthetic for a wedding guest?
White shirt no tie, brown waistcoat, green formal jacket. Brown or tan chinos, nice dressy boots, brown belt.
Hey ! love your videos btw .. but can you make a video on how to style a suit for a summer party (formal).
Strikingly similar to some dieting advice. Focus on what you can _add to_ the thing you like, rather than taking away.
