I have a pair of Coldsparks I’ve worn for over a year now, hiking, hunting, and as an everyday cold weather boot. They’re great. Mine have held up very well.
I have a pair of these for when it's cold and I have a pair of Merrell Thermo Chills for when it's fkn cold. The Vasque boots are outstanding. They're lighter than a pair of basketball shoes and incredibly comfortable. They run a little narrow but, for most of us, thick socks still work. On cool days I'll wear them to the store or whatever and skip socks. I've owned less comfortable slippers.
Just bought this same color like 30 minutes ago, I am excited to try them out, I work for the post office and I have been in search for the perfect winter boots.
I'm going on the 4th winter with the vasque snowblimes and they are the best winter boot and one of the best boots iv ever had! For the price of them there wicked boots!!
Awesome looking snow boots Aaron. I have never heard of Vasque. But now of your review. I need to look into this brand an thesis boots too. Thanks for showing thesis boots to me Sir
It is hard to find good lightweight hiking boots that are geared towards winter. There are a ton of pack boots and heavily insulated hiking boot for winter, so these are a nice change.
Great video man, I wear Vasque too! Testimonial; I've had a pair of Vasque Vibrams for hiking for years now. I've got at least hundreds, probably thousands of walking/hiking miles on them in varied terrain (The Appalachian Trail and hundreds of marked hiking trails all over northern New England from RI to ME, an an untold number of unmarked trails and good ol' bushwhacking). They have yet to wear out to the point where I've had to have them replaced, and while I take good care of them, when I use them, I abuse them. Unfortunately it gets way too cold here for anything but arctic rated boots to be feasible if I'm outside hiking or whatever in the show and ice for hours at a stretch. Two months straight ranging from well below zero to maybe the teens, so I have to go with something bulkier. On the other hand if you're just outside for shorter periods or being super active for a few hours these would be fine. You can't go wrong with Vasque though, quality is definitely there. Just get the shoe/boot appropriate for what you need and like.
I’m really surprised you guys don’t do more footwear videos. I subscribe to a couple dozen outdoor/prep/survival channels and I see about a million knife videos, flashlight reviews, and a ton of fire starter talk. Makes me think most of these guys don’t get too far from their car trunk 99% of the time. That’s fine, but a lot of us like to cover some miles when we get outside. So let’s slow down on the talk of “dangler sheaths” and USB power packs and start showing some real footwear, outerwear and yes, underwear. Exofficio is waiting for your review.
Really good video definitely want to see more footwear and clothing reviews don’t think you missed anything really just two small points maybe also mention temperature in Celsius for your international viewers and personally my feet overheat and sweat heavily so a bit more on the breathability internal moisture management thanks again for the great work
Can you recommend a good wind/water proof outter shell jacket? I have been using a Ride snowboard jacket for over 10 years and its finally at the end of its lifetime and ready to be replaced. Thanks
Can the insoles be removed to accommodate custom insoles? Have you tried to fasten snowshoes to them? Some boots lend themselves better to snowshoes. Do you use only one sock with these boots, or do you wear a liner sock with a second sock?
I don’t like Vasque (anymore). They’re quality went down hill since the glory days in the 90’s. Early 2000’s. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. It’s really hit or miss getting a good pair. I really tried to stick with them after being made in China but having to keep sending damaged boots back after having them a month wasn’t going to work. I recommend Asolo over them any day.
Sorry to hear that. I have had 6 pairs of vasques event before I started the channel. Been to Cambodia, China, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, South Africa, Botswana, and Haiti with the Vasque Juxt design, and each pair lasted me two years of daily use. I am sorry they haven't worked for you, but I love their durability and feel.

chris38663 thanks so much for the support! Hope they serve you well!
After burning through multiple soles from different manufacturers, I swore I would never go with anything other than Vibram. Good review though.

Ian Osborne outdoor Research and marmot are my go too brands for that
@@gideonstactical I'll check em out thanks brother!
When you say they are true to size; do you mean boot size or shoe size?
Can the insoles be removed to accommodate custom insoles?
Have you tried to fasten snowshoes to them? Some boots lend themselves better to snowshoes.
Do you use only one sock with these boots, or do you wear a liner sock with a second sock?
Yes insoles are removable, I have not snowshoed yet with them, I use only one heavy duty sock.
I wonder if they would make a good hunting boat
What do you think about these as a snowshoe boot?
What is your summer pair?
munkycool gaming Working on a few versions right now may do a video soon.
For around town, are they overkill?
8:30 *no probllama*

Good looking shoe, like the flexibility.
