Hmm!!! Another message... I believe this series is for me because the very first scene is pointing my attention to something. God will help me. To sis Uju's question, I was once thinking that way until God spoke to me via a message by Mummy Gbile Akanni and she gave a bible reference from the book of Psalms 37:1-7...Then I knew that the progress of unbelievers does not worth envying... This is going to be interesting. I agree that churches should have gatherings like this for young ladies and also for youth or young men. Not only for single ladies but also married people. So many people are bottling things up that needs reliable place to speak out their mind. Gatherings like this should however be well monitored or managed by the church so it doesn't become a cult of some sort.

Great episode! It is gonna be a miraculous transformation time in this episode. The youth hang out should be encouraged because some burning questions in the hearts of the young people, they may not ask it during Church service and some of them don't open up to their parents at home. So gathering like this will help such people to come out of their shell. More grace to the Crew.

I don't see the benefit of giving your body count to a brother. It should be enough to inform him that as a none believer, you had a history that involved being sexually active.
A sister may be able to handle a brother's sexual history but most brothers cannot. You will give him a number and that number will remain eched in his memory forever. Infact, in his mind he is lining up behind those men in your past. He will be seeing himself as after 3, 6, 10 or whatever number you have given him. If you really have to, then give him a range. Or something like not greater than 5. Because unfortunately, these numbers do come up after marriage. You will be having a heated argument & boom, the number will be thrown to your face. Some even have the audacity to use it as an excuse to cheat on their wives especially if her number was higher than his. I don't know if it makes them feel inferior once they know.
It will surprise you how self righteous and unforgiving some brothers can be in this area of sex. Are these not the same brothers who expect to be forgiven for adultery but would never consider doing the same for their wives? 🤔 May the Holy Spirit guide & provide wisdom on handling past things that might not affect your future.
A FRIEND'S STORY.
During our pre-marital counseling, my husband confessed to me, “I got two people impregnated. One didn’t tell me until after she had aborted it. The other one, I pushed for it because I wasn’t ready.”
I didn’t judge him. We moved on to other questions on the list until we exhausted the whole thing. Body count wasn’t part of the list but he brought it into the conversation and asked how many men I’d slept with.
I thought it was the period to be honest so I counted on both hands and said, “Eleven. It should be ten but I’m counting eleven because I’m not sure if the last guy did it. I was drunk. I felt it happened but he denied it.”
He didn’t fret. He didn’t act surprised. I had shared with him my sexual past before. He told me he had slept with four women. Two were from his childhood and the other two came later in his life.
We were successful with the checklist. Both of us were happy and reported happily to our counsellor.
We got married and for three years we’ve been able to weather the storm in our marriage successfully but one thing never goes away.
Anytime we disagree, my husband would remind me of the many men I’d slept with. “Do you think I’m like you? If I had eleven women to sleep with, do you think I would be available for you to marry me?”
My body count comes up at every turn when we argue. It never rests. For three years it has become the silencer. The final word that puts a stop to every argument.... 😢
