Because my thinking was more aligned with liberal views. But for some reason, I felt interest and curiosity to see more videos of this channel. Then I started to research a bit more on my own. Then I inevitably came to the right conclusion. Liberal ideologies have impacted Muslims in most Muslim Majority countries and it really is a tool that can take people away from Islam (gradually). It is so strange! We have the Quran and Sunnah and we can directly seek knowledge from these sources easily. Yet we have somehow programed ourselves to think in a liberal way. Thanks to brother Daniel and the Muslim Skeptic channel that has helped me realize this. Most importantly, thanks to Allah (Swt) for showing me the way. This is probably my most favorite channel which helps me get more knowledge. I am still not perfect as a Muslim (not by a long shot) but I have been able to correct myself in many ways, Alhumdulillah! Please keep doing the great work you are doing!

As your muslim tajik sister thank you so much for talking about us. I have friends and acquiantances who were arrested because of their hijab, and they are treated like some animals. The police and the women from women's committee conduct these raids in crowded areas, and if you dare to resist or demand your rights, you will either be fined, go to prison or get beat up. I have even heard of rape cases. They take away their phones and search for any islamic content and if they find it, you will be fined in the best case scenario or put into prison for +2 years, and if they find anything against the government then you are done. People have gone to prison for simply liking anti-government content on Social media! It is 1984 happening over here.

Thank you for an accurate history background on Islam in Central Asia. While growing up in Soviet Union I never heard anything about Islam, even I did not hear word Allah. Only I saw my grandmother praying salat as she lived in the village, but she never told me anything about Islam, that was prohibited either. Basically I grew up atheist, first I started hearing about Islam after collapse of Soviet Union, some Muslims started showing that they fast, pray, but it was very little, then we became open for Hollywood movies where they showed Muslims as barbaric and backward, then 9/11 happened. So my understanding of Islam was not different from a typical western liberal. I started my own journey and learned about Islam from scratch myself from RUclips first :)) there are more and more especially among young people staring today to practice and learn Islam, you can see more women choosing to veil. The problem now is that the country is becoming very polarized with Muslims on one hand and liberal people even supporting lgbt on the other..

Lastly, you know how the Westerners always have these liberal indexes (freedom, human rights, free speech etc) by which they judge others with, why don't you develop an Islam-centric index (taqwa, zina, khamr, riba etc) by which we can judge them and their lackeys? A kind of interactive index, were you can click to see which country has the highest zina vs. lowest zina and so on, turn the tables on them and so -called "Muslim states". You should study the modern history of Tajik nation before speaking without knowledge. Tajik people suffered a bloody civil war 1992-1997 instigated by Shia Iran. The Tajik President by the permission of the Almighty Allah managed to put an end to the bloodshed. So he does not want another attempt of Shia or any other ikhwani revolution and wants to keep the country safe. He does not mean to uncover our mothers and sisters. He encourages our sisters to keep our National identity by wearing Tajik clothing such as National Rumaal which our Mothers used to cover themselves with, including their faces, better than most of the modern “hijab” styles!!! Our respected mothers honorably covered themselves from ancient times even through the Soviet Communist oppression! 2. the boy pulls up a hadith that appears to say that his aorta is being cut (it is not, it uses a different word)

It is quite simple actually, most israelis have multiple nationalities, because most of jews live in a country then leave to Israel (and of course they do it while claiming they were not safe enough). So legaly an american israeli, even though care only about Israel, is an american and that is how they can manipulate politics in a lot of countries. In my country, France, we even have a minister that is israeli and all he talks about is his country israel, but when he goes too far he just say "Im french".

He only wants our mothers and sisters to keep their national identity and choose Tajik style hijab instead of a foreign culture. A woman in my country can still freely wear a full Islamic hijab if she chooses the traditional Tajik style covering!!!! Moreover, she can still wear any hijab she wants as long as she finishes it with the outer garment being Tajik National style garment. The scholars of Sunnah, the Salafi scholars, even mentioned the superiority of local traditions in clothing over foreign!!!
