In 1970 I tried to chop a 1968 Honda 305 Dream. I bought it from a recent college graduate who no longer needed it and picked it up for around $400 if I remember correctly. I did this project while a senior in high school. I couldn't do much to the body except repaint it. I added longer handlebars (10"?), a new black rolled custom saddle seat, changed the rear sprocket size, added a sissy bar for road travel and camping gear attachment, and the cherry on the cake was painting the body Candy Apple Red. This video brings back memories.

Hello i did a candy job . Final tinted clear looks glossy and shiny .Now i want to apply a clear coat on it. Should i sand it or just apply over it ??? Pls do reply I am half way

You didn’t clear the gold foil before laying tape on top of it, so I guess the gold foil can take that?
Curious why clear before gradations ?
I also asked the same question. My logic is he did that so that the masking tape didn’t ruin the gold leaf.
