I don't 100% get why the templates were needed, unless it's for future projects, or why the whole tank got painted gold BUT there is no doubting the results, stunning looking paint job!
I love the result, but I'm unclear of the benefits of masking - making the fibreglass "template", then masking again? It didn't look to save much effort on the second round of masking, so why not skip the first round of masking and the fibreglass steps and go straight to the prep+gold/leaf stage?

Wonderful end result, truly beautiful!! However, I am perplexed as to why you went through all the time and effort to create the FRP molds just to use them as a template for your tape lines? Also, why did you spray the entire tank gold if the intent was just to have it in the lines?
Hello. I sold it in ebay in the past. BUT As of now, I cannot send it out under the influence of coronavirus any place other than Japan. I'm sorry. This is a tough situation, but I hope things get better soon. Thank you!
LN1 Casey that is because he wanted the gold to reflect when the light hits the surface.....so to get that deep shimmering effect he has painted it gold
dont tell me u did them fiberglass panels JUST to trace ur outline for ur patterns on the tank.....WAAYYY TOO MUCH unnecessary work for a simple paint scheme
Never use a paintbrush, Idk what the hell that was about......why was he fiberglassing and making a mold? just to use as custom template later or something? too much extra taping too not called for
This masking of this tank is classic in Japan. so I made the mold.I use this mold to other tank. Please check this ruclips.net/video/NLFc-5ySKlg/видео.html

Why ask WHY? If you are such the expert do it your way and see how it compares.
@@anonimous2451 I never said I was an expert. The whole point of asking the question was to learn.

I think spraying most of the tank gold gives it a more even finish at the end.
he has extra gold paint
Nice great work
Hey, what color is this?
still trying to figure out what the big fiberglass panels were for,,,
Me too.
I could have done this paint job without the fiberglass step
Imo the fiberglass was used keep the structure in the lines.
If you lose the line pattern... You lose the concept
He uses them for templates for future jobs
@@markman63 Thank you. That's got to be the only logical explanation. But that kinda defeats the point of a "custom" paint job in my opinion.
masterclass, thats all i can say . thanks your uploading
A really awesome result though I didn't understand all the steps in the process. Probably a life of just using rattle cans.
Hi, can you please inform about the online sales for all the products.

Marcelo Fuenzalida no es laca son tintas candy me parece
Wonderful work. But why do you paint the entire tank gold if it only becomes the line work?
LN1 Casey that is because he wanted the gold to reflect when the light hits the surface.....so to get that deep shimmering effect he has painted it gold
LN1 Casey It creates candy red, I think.
First Name think so
