I never attempted to do Iron Throne on solo runs to find out if the Duke shows up regardless of whether Wyl was alive. Even on my durge playthrough, I had Wyl alive and him take the deal with Mizora so I never had the opportunity. I don't know if he is dead in your playthrough and that is probably why the Duke is not there? Also mad respect for attempting this solo with pets. Proving once again that you are the goat. Kinda insane when at times I have struggled with this, even with a full party. I usually spam haste scrolls, throw potions at them, and use Dimension Door to save everyone. Idk why. I considered trying a solo Wyll run, duelist crit-based warlock build, with arcane acuity and the act 3 bhalist armor. Sounds so boring now since it comes online way too late and that I am watching your legendary druid run. Tempted to try out moon druid instead. :D

@@mythicaledeg Decided to go with Moon Druid. I started the Wyll playthrough and played until the grove fight which got me to lvl 3. But yeah its kinda hard at the beginning. Especially since you don't have that many outs in fights. Had to dip bow and rapier for extra damage, and use hex + armor of Agathys baiting opportunity. And the classic eldritch which misses 7/10. Its kinda fun, have to play more to see if it gets better.

Need a suggestion. My team for my run constantly changes but Karlach is my main companion and never leaves. I currently have her as a pure tiger barb with reverberation gear (combo causes prone/maim so target literally can’t get up)but I’m thinking about changing her to a bear barb/monk for more damage what do you suggest?
I have no experience with barb 😅 But you could go 6 monk rest barb if you want with reverb gear and use the radiant attack 6 monk 2 barb 4 rogue or 6 monk 4 barb 2 fighter can have her attack with weapons then punch combo with gwm too hope that helps (How do you maim them is that barb feature from wild heart subclass?) She is also a great monk soul coins flurry🤌
8 OP monk/4 bear barb work just fine. You are resistant to everything while every spell use dex save only deal half the dmg to you at failed and no dmg as success. Grab the bone spike cloth or whatever that reduce flat dmg and you basically un-killable if not get cc and not get cc is easy if you let your monk use the legendary shield where you have advantage to save again spell. If you want something more safe, 8 paladin, 4 bear barb. Just be multi-class to warlock to get pack of blade, bind your weapon and multi-class back to paladin and barb. Now, you just need to increase your charisma and it will be both a sword and shield where if you are a oath breaker and have diadem of arcane synergy you add your charisma modifier thrice for each attack while adding charisma modifier once for saving throw (at 22 cha, 14 wis, wis saving proficiency, your saving is like 6 + 2 + 4 + d20 + few for saving throw permanent buff so you nearly impossible to fail a save). If possible, use the enraging heart grab to have wrath and deal even more dmg. You can chose to use 2handed weapon or a sword and a shield. If two handed then go for giant slayer sword, dont bind your weapon, just using the str elixir, if 1 sword and shield then go for belm and use force conduct shield to mitigate more physical dmg. In BG3 for dmg calculation, divide (resistance) go first then minus (flat dmg mitigation) so it will be better if you can stack both.

@@mythicaledeg Yeah, BG3 is actually pretty easy so these is many ways to play. The meta will mostly be a dmg rush or crowd control but if you actually finish bg3 once you will realize you can play it what ever you want. My paladin and barb build above actually not use 2handed weap or 1 shield and 1 weap, he is a f*cking dual wield both Orin legendary dagger and short sword. The build is same as above but I dont bind the weapon with pact of blade, instead I just use Str elixir and still max charisma. Hit like a truck cause Orin dagger make then vulnerable to pieces dmg. (8+6+6+3+2+wrath dmg + 1d4/1d6)*2 +1d6(helldusk glove) + 1d4(if attack with short sword) + smite (optional) while having savage attack is okay for dmg while you almost un-killable.
