Hey there🙌 volley is from ranger hunter subclass at level 11 you get it there are a few items that give you the melee variant of it too Belm(Scimitar) and The Dancing Breeze(glaive) funny enough dancing breeze is a finesse weapon too 😅

Thanks 🙏 glad you liked it. Originally I would just compare it with arrows of many targets but volley can do a lot more than that hit Sanctuary targets check hit more than 5-8 enemies check apply any items/buffs check just perfection 🤌🤌😅

Thanks🤗 there are a couple of ways to make EK strong you can get 4 feats can do a lot with it here are a couple of ideas you could use the reverb gear with lighting or thunder infused weapon + eldritch knight Eldritch Strike at level 10 its so good for casting disable spell like hold person we do 1 attack then use the hasted action for a disable stun or darkness (having anti darkness gear like the ring) then proceed to do 6 crit attacks on the target with party this even better you can put a debuff on enemies for you spell caster to disable or nuke them 2- The second option might be weaker you would dump str and use potions for it then get 17 in int +1 hags hair then gmw after that at level 6 get +2 ability improvement for the next 2 feats we could get alert or savage attacker or tavern brawler and use Helmet of Arcane Acuity + Necklace of Elemental Augmentation for more cantrip damage (only use cantrips with hasted action) that way we can make another attack with our bonus action but to be fair we could just use gmw after a kill 3- are other option we could straight go for the tavern brawler throwing build with bind weapons (keep in mind binding weapons that do not have a throwing tag will not do the throwing damage on impact) we could actually make this build like a tank could go for + 16 con with base 15 or even get 18 with base 17 con and str potion) archer ek is strong too but hey we are trying to make an Aragorn build so we definitely need a great sword if you don't mind loosing an extra attack we could go 7 ek and and 5 wizard for more spell slots but that's not optimal if we have companions since we loose Eldritch strike. I highly suggest Reverb gear + some coatings that inflict some sort of condition (sorry for the long reply I did more ranting than actually helping 😅ek is hard to build to use the ek features more than fighter features which is sad imo)

it is worth 100% I like it so much + minor illusion from high elf race its so strong even compared to arrows of many targets you can even attack enemies that you wouldn't be able to target with volley 😅

Hunter is so underrated add high elf minor illusion to the mix and you have yourself a weapon of mass slaughter 😁

@@mythicaledeg - wearing the Eversight Ring also works. They don't bother casting Darkness because they know you can see through it. But you using daylight to cancel Shadow step too is even better, truly inspired gameplay

Hi it triggers for every single one of them separately idk if we are going to use it thou there are a lot of good bow options in act 3 😅

@@mythicaledeg Awesome, might be a good combo with snow burst ring and cold enchante. But it might be better used in a squad not solo. like you said, I don't think this can deal that much damage comparing to other bows.

Hi you can get a lot of these from the githyanki trader in crache you need a little bit of farming thou(you can get a lot arrows too). could also make 2 potions per one ingredients if you farm ingredients with(Transmutation Wizard) from derryth but I wouldn't recommend it just for healing potions. yeah I'm kind of avoiding it brings bad memories for memory I will continue the slayer run at some point but idk if I want to fight every enemy in act 3 like ansur/titan steel watcher etc. losing the run definitely was key factor for it still feeling bad about it 🥲

In bg3, there is only two bosses you have to fight in honor mode. Myrkul and Orin. That’s it, every other boss can be skipped, gale can explode for the final boss fight, etc. I thought long and hard and these are really the only two bosses a player has to fight. In other modes, you don’t have to fight any boss if gale explodes in act 2. I think most viewers would agree, that it’s better to skip a few bosses and win the run, rather than never playing the run, because of optional boss fights. You are not having fun, that is your sign that you should simply finish the run.

@@abdelellahtalmasani7746 To be fair I was having a lot fun with slayer but killing myself with caustic bulb was too much for me🥲 Need to man up and go after Raphael and Ansur😅I really love that about games bosses are optional if you don't want to do them but they are too good that you want to do them 🤌🤌

Painful Farming 😂I usually do it before act 2 with the gith merchant for arrows (on archer runs) and derryth for potions you can do it in act 2 before you go into shadowfell you can also a companion or hireling to reset the trader stock level them up once use your main high level tav to buy the goodies 😅

The special arrows like arrow of undead slaying or any arrow of ... slaying double you damage that includes adding another copy of your bonus elemental damage . we have 1d4 psychic damage from ring of strange conduit 1d4 thunder damage from drakethroat glaives elemental weapon 1d4 from fire damage from gloves of flawed helldusk armor and the 1d4 radiant damage comes from the buff morning lords blessing which you can get at rossymon monastery you can keep all the buffs from act one if you don't take a long rest and if you don't have lae'zel as a party member (even if she is in camp) since going to act 2 triggers her cutscene you can keep it as origin lae'zel thou sorry for the long reply hope this helps

The only other time I managed to do it was with monk multiclass was never able to do it without action surge got lucky with the hits thou 😅

I have some idea about what happened but not sure. so you know when you use monk deflect arrow ability if the the archer was behind anything the arrow might get impact the object in my case there is nothing in front of myrkul the only option is if the arrow when into the pit instead of hitting myrkul or hit his shoulder stuff (they might not be part of his hit box) this is unlikely thou the other theory is that darkness might have bugged the arrows I have no clue what else could be the factor here 🤔🤔

@@mythicaledeg I think the hit the darkess cloud (from the arrow of darkness) and disappear - it happens with normal darkness I think? so I suppose the darkness arrows should be no different?, should be easy to test if that is the case.

@@Profesor449 it doesn't happen very often so I have no clue why it happens but I'm pretty sure its either a myrkul thing or a arrow of darkness or both at the same time darkness arrows never caused this issue for me outside of myrkul encounter probably darkness + myrkul is the issue here

Hi Thanks . yup all of it was correct I got spell sniper for eldritch blast since you can split the damage instead of firebolt but I really didn't like it wasn't a strong choice there 🥲I thought there were no difference between medium and heavy adamantine armour 😅😅 I'm thinking about getting tavern brawler for some casual spears throw but I really like to make the cantrips action work with attacks (Witcher cosplayer here 😂😂) any advices are appreciated

Thanks🙏glad you like it so far. mostly for roleplay reasons at this point 😅😅Originally the plan was to use a cantrip get arcane synergy and +1d4 elemental infuse form the ring but its only for 1 attack weaker that dip for a ring slot! so at this point we just use a cantrip with extra action then use bonus action for attack but its better to use gmw attack and another action attack instead of cantrips

@@eduardo9a1 I think ability drain works only with your first attack so we could use it to reduce a casters int by 1 if start with a cantrip also idk why but arcane synergy extra damage does not work on some of the attacks 🤔🤔a little bit confused about the whole thing 😄

@mythicaledeg no i mean. If you have ability drain and use that helm of arcane sinergy you can add your int modifier by just hitting enemies

It might actually be more advantageous for you not to stream actively...upsides might be through limited editing work boring parts are skipped, the service provider (you) get play when you want to play, and through higher quality content you are building a loyal audience of viewers that are happy to tune in. Might be ideal. Just one critique. I hate playing act three, but for the sake of closure, please complete your runs XD (this is in reference to your Wyll run). ​@@mythicaledeg Do I think it is interesting to do a stream without voice over? Unless the player is doing something unique, probably not. Too much time walking, buying from vendors, looting (esp. In BG3 the loot becomes kinda boring right? Same chests and mobs drop the same loot). Do I think videos that capture key moments of a story line + fights is interesting? - 100% Both and either can work. That is why I watch your format. You play well and efficient. Focused on the encounters with useful tips written into the screen, or explanations on how mechanics work. Plus you avoid obvious OPness (Boot of Reverb, Gloom Stalker). I think for streaming there needs to be a point right? Otherwise I could just play myself.. BG three is a hard game to stream I'd say... That was sort of why I thought about it after my first comment... I thought to myself, "wait a minute.... if this guy streams, and I need to watch him walk from battle to battle, or from dialogue to dialogue, possibly skipping things I am interested in, or letting things play I am not interested in...would I really want that?" The answer for me was no, I think his content is good as it is, just needs a little polish in terms of my earlier thought, the narrative ending or leading somewhere. Ideally similar lenght vids at regular times. Sorry for length of message XD

and also for you as a content creator. Would you rather choose when you play what, or would you rather be glued to a monitor forced to play the same story line? I'd think its probably nicer to play once a while, record yourself, and then cut and edit to upload. It allows for more flexibility in the rest of life. And it might enable higher quality content.

Hi no that would kind of ruin the solo run rule I might use them in a cutscenes spoiler : like the shar cutscene with night song I usually don't use any of those items either but in this specific run I got the potion from astarion biting the drow in moonrise 😅

@i know it shocked me a lot to see same origin and subclass what are the chances 😂 im planning to side with orpheus for the ending as it’s the only one i haven’t done and i thought seeing his ending as lae’zel would make for a more interesting story. thanks a lot and i will be taking notes from your fights if i find myself in trouble haha 🙏

I accidentally figured this Out on my first run before honor mode patch so what I did was buff my party member with glaive and changed the weapon and buff remained you could also use sorcerer twined spell meta magic to buff 2 of your weapons and have insane dual wielder 😅

​@@mythicaledeg there's a time-consuming and thankfully little-known cheese for using Drakethroat Glaive to buff as many weapons as you want. Never seen it mentioned so I suspect others like myself who discovered it are afraid Larian will patch it 😅
