The fact that some can have the red text: "Krangled" is perfect.
I actually got my first blank slate from a chaos chamber run, but it sadly has nothing but the 10% exp increase. This would have been neat if they did something like adjustable level where you can place it on any character at any level

Btw if you’re still having issues viewing the tool tips in the hero skills page because they keep instantly disappearing, only the first window selected will stay up. You have to switch back and forth from the passive tree and hero skill pages to refresh it. And then path around everything to see the singular window you want to see.
You can also switch to the one you want to view, push down and then up again, and you can see it. You do not have to switch tabs.

If you hover over your main vlass power and then path to the one you want it will show it too, so you don't have to switch back and forth
The blank slate was my first legendary. I got it at level 20 and it had no bonuses. I thought "well this is the worst legendary item I've ever seen"
If you can get a low lvl version of it that 10% exp is great for powerleveling alt characters

@@BurnedChaos Yep. When I figured that out I filled my bank with all the junk drops from a chaos run. Having $300k at level 5 means never needing to ever pickup crap to sell for the leveling process. Its either equiped or left on the ground.
You didn't get a legendary till level 20, that's some bad rng. I've been following guides for finding golden dice to increase luck. I got my first legendary at 11 and my second around level 15. I'm almost 20 now and haven't got another one yet. But it seems like collecting the dice have helped. Did you collect any/ many of the golden dice up to level 20?
I'm thinking the big thunder cubes might be something with rocket launchers. It does have the symbol. So some testing will be needed. I currently am playing but do not have a blank slate yet. Thanks for the great content! Been a viewer for a while now.
There are also legendaries that shoot projectiles as they are shooting im wondering if the thundercubes would maybe make them bigger or stronger i shall have to test

There’s a legendary poison spell that throws gelatinous cubes, maybe related? I feel like it would be more generalized than just to work alongside one spell, but I know such a spell exists.

The big thundercubes has a rocket launcher symbol next to it so maybe it has some interaction with firing rockets, like increased range or added lighting damage
There is a spell the spawns a bouncing gelatinous cube that does big damage so maybe this causes rockets fired to spawn those cubes...
That's what I figured. Seemed like an obvious thing to start testing on.
@@wheelsndealz the ruby crossbow has a special ability that doesn't say on the weapon just something like "death is fulfillment" and normally the gun sucks but after a kill the 3 arrows gain aggressive tracking and the fire rate goes up insanely fast, great for obelisk fights clearing adds before they even fully spawn in

There is a rocket launcher called Blue Cake or something, which its shot shoots a large thunder ball. Curious if the Big Thundercubes affects that thing.
Remember to check the class icon next to the bonus. So, on the blank slate that you have, it shows that +40% damage has the Stabbomancer Icon., so I believe it only applies with the Stabbomancer class. And the +2 Ability has the Graveborn icon, so assuming that bonus only applies to Graveborn class abilities.

Whoops guess I forgot to make this comment, but the thunder cubes is a reference to what it feels like to return to path of exile after a couple of leagues. This is because PoE adds more mechanics on top of old ones like a mechanic Jenga. You can find it by googling path of exile and "what returning in a few years feels like". I would link it here but for some odd reason when I do that RUclips deletes my comment 🤷♂️
I imagine someone already threw this idea out there but I have a Legendary Electric Shotgun called "Prolonging Die-vergent". I think Thunder Cubes is referring to this weapon. Reloading it results in throwing a multi-sided die: "Thrown weapon Bounces and knocks back enemies. Explodes after a duration." Might be other weapons that operate the same way but that's the one I have.
only build i made was
-get the claw/spore warden,
- get the shield enchantment
"on reload gain 1 charge of the Barrage action skill"
- get final call 4 thunder on skill use in clawbringer class
then just keep spamming barrage and lightning storm,
shoot 1 bullet from the gun then reload to refill charges,
then back to spamming barrage lightning storm
Ambivalence-the state of having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone.
Maybe that is just meme. Talk to the poet. Talk to Izzy. Talk to Paladin Mike. Etc. Maybe they change but I think it's just a meme to make you think, "Oh yea, plus 24 ambivalence! That's gotta be good. It has numbers so it means the item is better".

Weeeeelllll no, there may be a use there still. If you run a Deadshot, you can run Blast Gasp. Don't believe the skill text, it does massively more damage than you think when it procs, and all of the damage it does is ability damage. Any "ability damage" amps apply to it, and getting 100% out of one piece of gear might well let you hit 10m or more on a single cast when BG procs if everything else is built for it.
Ability damage and spell damage are 2 different things.

Okay, so Big Thundercubes is ties to the Krangled Red Text. Krangling is what we in the PoE community called the "Scourge" mechanic a couple leagues ago. It was effectively a more powerful form of corruption. IF I was to guess, +3 Big Thundercubes is going to have something to do with either Tediore Chucking or possibly even with the extra projectiles some guns have. As per Ambivalence, my guess is Mimions, so your Demi-Lich, the sporeling, and wyvern companions as well as, well, all the summons you can get from Tediore chucks and spells.
Reason I take this as my guess is that the most popular corruption implicits are extra projectiles and minion level. The Thundercubes can also be a reference to Doryani's prototype, a chestplate that was added in Scourge League that scales your damage based on how LOW your lightning resistance is. So my guess for easiest testing? Blue Muffin. It has extra unlisted projectiles and it's lightning. As per Ambivalence? NO flipping clue, but test with minions and hydras if I'm correctly. thinking this through.
I found one with +40% all damage dealt. Pretty insane.
I am pretty sure the Ability +1/+2 does not give pure ability damage.
It gives Ability CRIT Damage and Ability CRIT chance. But if you're not hitting a crit with your ability it would not be giving you any benefit.
If Ability +2 is 100% crit chance then it would near impossible to not get the benefit?
@@MonsieurAuContraire 100% crit chance is going to be multiplicative. So 15% would turn into 30%, 20% to 40%, etc
@@taunph6118 wouldn't it be the best class mod for a stabbomancer then? At least a stabbomancer/spore warden since spore warden has ability damage skills.
@@WisconsinChristianite idk tbh. Sporewarden is a difficult one. With regular mods being able to give up to +3 to Wrath of Nature, I find any mod without it not to be as effective as one with it. 102% increased dmg taken from all sources if spore main or 56% if secondary is just too strong.
@@WisconsinChristianite You get class mods that add +30% to spore warden power, this enhances all aspects of spore warden including ability dmg. Not to mention the other benefits of particular legendary class mods, if you get a great class mod with +30% spore warden power and rolls with +25% ability dmg, and with the right skill boosts, that's going to be better than Blank Slate.
umm... just a quick note... with this armor being really as rare as it is, there's another thing to factor in...
There's an icon to the left of the ''Ability'' level that is unique to the specific Character Class. It is of the Graveborn's Demi-Lich Companion in the sample shown at 00:59. If it is not matching the Fatemaker's Character Class then it is uber-less than useless.

Thundercubes thing has a rocket launcher icon next to it. Maybe vending machines sell only r9cket launchers?! Or it similarly buffs rocket launcher in the same way as the +2 ability thing buffs ability dmg?
What about the class icon??! For example, that class mod you showcased has a Graveborn class icon to the left of ability level, and a stabbomancer class icon next to all damage dealt. So I thought this meant that the ability level +2 would only affect Graveborn, and the damage increase would only affect Stabbomancer

I have a blank slate that says plus one to abilities and it has the graveborne symbol I thought it meant my abilities and my skill tree but I think it meant my action skill, I think I read somewhere someone said it just makes sure action skill drastically stronger so I think it's great for those builds that focus on the action scale probably like spore warden mine gives 15% or resist and plus 10% experience gain also it comes corrupted with the krangled red text and one more red text something about 1500 clicks.
After 400 days logged on Poe I've caught a few of their references and I absolutely love it

I figure by reading the red text, that the Class MOd activates once you've clicked 1500 times while having it equipped.
I saw on reddit that it can roll with a corrupted version and a korrupted version too. Idk how legit, but this class mod is super weird
Damn I was hoping the 1500 clicks reference meant get 1500 kills with it equipped and unlock more bonuses for the item. Good to know it has no such thing and I can stop wasting my time with a blank Blank Slate.
It's a reference to the game Path of Exiles with 1500 clicks being what you need roughly to make a 6 link armor or weapon.

Love that path of exiles references in this game. The plus 1 or 2 to ability level is a corrupted mod that you can get on items in PoE that add plus 1 or 2 levels to socketed gems, which they also threw Corrupted as another refence on to the Blank Slate (Tabula Rasa as it's known in PoE). This has easily became on of my favorite games just do to those references there.

What if each one actually is a "blank slate" until you equip it. Then it has bonuses that appear? I donno. Never got one.

@@omontopok1 clicks can also mean miles, what if its an every 1500 milstone of something? Like every 1500 luck?
I held on to them but had no idea what they did. I saw "requires 1500 clicks" and was like, I ain't got the time for that if it isn't relevant. That side, when I read the item name I assumed we would get to custom the abilities it boosted (within reason). If a skill could be boosted by +3, let me boost it by +3 and then have 2 more points to utilize.
I could see this pairing well with a Butt Stallion buff in the chaos chambers if you just can't get any other strong gear combos.
Maybe blue cake and gelatinous cube together have an interaction? Or one or the other
My first blank slate had no level requirement and xp boost, thought that was the whole point to it. With a level limit it seems weird
I am working in a Bloodgod build to see just how high i can push my health to nuke the bf with a massive sacrifice. THUNDER CUBES WORKS WITH THE CAKE ROCKET LAUNCHER!
So, a +10% XP class mod dropped, and when I went to equip it, it wanted to go into the bottom-center slot. I had thought that slot was for robes or armor, but I guess it was a class mod all this time?
"Found in the Chaos Chambers" is beginning to sound a lot like "Grinder/World Drop" from TPS.
when i first picked one up with +2 ability lvl i thought that would allow u to use the lvl 42 guns people have been talking about getting. interesting to think about if/how the meta would change if that were the case.
Would be an interesting trade off if there were a mechanic like that. Sacrifice a gear slot for higher base damage

This armor has extremely weird properties... I found one with double resistance bonus, resistance to everything and elemental, I found one that improves my graveborn skills, one that gives extra damage and resistance...
Yeah, the armor piece is either a nothing or it has things that are this game's equivalent to corruption and scourge implicits from Path of Exile. I would also expect the thing to have hidden affixes because, well, that's how quite a few oddball uniques in PoE work.

I found one that was actually blank. It has +10% experience gain but where the actual bonuses would be (like +1 or 2 ability points or Spell damage,etc) it is blank
@@uberalus it could be a troll. But I also thought it may be bugged. Never really noticed anything different when using them as I figured maybe it would have some kind of hidden ability or secret damage boost, but nope. Nothing.

The blue cake legendary launcher splits projectiles maybe the roll you got adds more to that?

I'd put my money on the blue cake, but I don't have a blank slate with that modifier to test it.
Looking at what is actually in the game files there is no spell damage/cooldown roll on Blank Slate. Aside from the +1/+2 there is only All Damage +40%, Max Health +10%, All Resistances +15%, Max Ward +10%, and whatever the hell +3 Big Thundercubes is.
PSA: not sure if anyone is experiencing this, can’t imagine I’m the only one and I’ve not seen anyone on RUclips talking about this.
I know this is a bug, not sure what makes it happen. I just finished an extended run in CC, did pretty well crystal wise and got a chaotic drop in the run and when I got to the chest and statues at the end, I was rewarded with a couple other useful chaotics for my build. Equipped them and starred them. Picked up all the trash and marked them all as junk. Fast traveled to BH, sold junk and went to the safe and lost loot machine to empty it. Emptied it, and sold junk, came back to safe to free up space. Since about mid playthrough of campaign I’ve had this safe bug where it only loads images of contents partially and does it extremely slow and when I switch it to backpack inventory, content images won’t refresh. So I continue to put my excess into safe and notice that there was an epic spell in a slot when I was suppose to be legendary chaotic that I had just got from the rabbit statue. I had starred this spell after I equipped it. It’s fucking disgusting! I’ve been grinding for a couple of days and was getting nothing to show for the effort and then this morning it changed, I was starting to feel and see things progress and then it was taken away. Disgusting!
Watch your inventory closely, not sure what causes this. Not sure how many people deal with this. One step forward, twenty steps back. I’m about to give up on this game
Yeah theres a big issue with UI in this game. When adding enchants I've noticed it removes some lines of words sometimes. For example, tediore smg that says, when reloading shoot a lightning bolt that summons a wyvern companion. Well when adding enchants, that entire description line sometimes gets removed, but the gun still shoots lightning bolts and summons wyverns.
I've sold a few strong AF purple tediores thinking they were trash, because those descriptions were removed after enchanting. So just be wary.

Try listening to what the npc's say when walking around for the ambivalence thing. Just a guess
the icon next to thunder cube is a launcher icon meaning it might buff a specific launcher, increase chance to get said launcher, or give launchers a buff or an additional effect?
I’ve seen all sorts of videos on Wonderlands I wonder if anybody went spore warden and Stabomacer as their second. Because I see a lot of graveborn combinations spore Warden and claw bringer or berserker.
Not to mention almost every other type of combination except that one is something wrong with that combination.
If I didn’t have a mediocre build I probably would be even better but the building I’m with right now is fine to me. It’s always nice to try different things that seem like they wouldn’t work at all but sometimes do.
I feel like spore warden stabbomancer is probably better than spore warden brrzerker because spore warden already can deal frost damage why get more frost damage when you could have more crits and crit damage? I feel like with that spore warden stabbomancer could probably out damage everything else
@@toxicdooby3590 I mean I’m running a mediocre build with just random items and no chaotic running with my friend that is chaotic 20 still surviving with maybe two deaths at most during chaos runs. So I think it might actually happen and if anybody’s going to find a way to make it stupid moxsy, joltsdude or killer six.
The reason why I don’t use chaotic or volatile is I am waiting for my friend to get through the story so we could run the thing together so any chaotic or volatile I’m selling or giving the good stuff to the my other friend I’m running with. Basically the one that I’m not waiting for.
Don’t both those classes have massive gun damage boosts too? I think this will be my next build to run
@@Gloryofthereef yes they do it gets ridiculous and my points first went into elemental damage to make it even more crazy where I ran with one of my friends and held my ground against chaos 20 enemies with only level 40 no chaos items on insane. Now I might change my points to give me a lot of action cool down instead of damage. Because the more I have might action up the more my damage will get boosted like crazy.
Big thunder cubes might add additional pellets to the bluecake

Just finished my first play through with a spellshot/stab crit build and man did the full battery pop off here with the 1 bullet crossbow pistols. The reloading mechanic with the spellshot/ward regen felt very fun to play around with full battery zaping someone every 3rd reload lol.
I'm playing a spellshot graveborn and I got a pistol with 1 ammo and a .5 reload speed. Shield go brrrrrrrrrrrr
@@zaclittlejohn2701 I'm having so much fun on SpellGrave with the legendary melee weapon Mage Staff. Send fissure spells with every melee swing 100 yards across the map that chase down enemies.
Big Thunder cubes might work with the Legendary Cake rocket launcher? I believe it's always lighting and and there are only 2 legendary launchers if I heard right.

IIRC it was explained as the average number of attempts to roll the upgrade in Path of Exile that people sought after.
it's a reference to path of exile as that's how many clicks it would take to craft a tabula rasa or equivalent chestpiece by hand using orbs
It’s a reference to how many clicks (fusing orbs) it takes to 6 link a piece of gear at 20% quality in POE. Tabula Rasa is a legendary that has 6 links and white sockets that you can use starting at level 1. So it’s a really powerful leveling unique.
Possibly partners with the brownie rocket launcher maybe it makes it act like the more dam yellow. Cake from bl3??

I got a blank slate this morning level 40 not chaotic or anything, it had ability plus one and all damage plus 40%
as luck would have it I actually am running an ability build on this character that I got it on. I have a name for it but the name that gearbox gives my build is "wildfire"
Spore warden classed into claw bringer. Basically the reverse of what you seem to be running.
But my personal name for my build is "storm warning" and I don't care if it never catches on. I primarily focus on the blizzard action skill and every manner of spell, skill and weaponry that produces a storm type effect.
Dagger storm weapons, storming ice spike spells (seems like a rare prefix) the capstone from claw bringer.. also mainly focused on cryo and shock elements. Really leaning into the role-play aspect of it all.. lol
May have something to do with rocket launchers, given the symbol. And maybe it changes some dialogue with some NPC or maybe the NPC have a rocket launcher with them during some quests?

I have found a chaotic and 2 normal blank slates, all 3 have nothing but the xp. Fantastic
there is a legendary rocket launcher that fires some electroballs. the idea might be too special but it's worth a try
Maybe is thundercubes active in duels with other players Krangled and ambivalence has basicly the same meaning
the fact that dreadwind is a viable build makes me the most happy little kid ever, :P its all i wanted, expecially with more mob density it can be sustained for a long period of time
The first one I had drop hgad a corrupted stat on it. I now have 3 normal ones, so guess I got lucky on the original one.
I've gotten a couple of these but with no additional bonuses on any of them until I rolled one with a +10% ward, and looked it up wondering what else it can roll with lol
So you need the plus 2 blank slate not the other stuff
I'm not sure how the +2 level to ability works with abilities that doesn't deal direct damage like Graveborn's and Stabbo's second ability...
I don't think it does anything. Like he said, there are things that specify ability damage. I think people with those are getting no benefit from it (besides the random stuff it may role with)

I got this with +40% ability damage. It's amazing on my Stabomancer using from the shadows. I use a buffeister, go invisible and kill everything with melee and the livewire. Before getting it damage was decent. But afterwards everything dies really fast.
does from the shadows benefit from ability damage?
@@Diehardgamer2001 no Idea because its like Fl4k's fade away and makes the whole body a crit spot with reduced damage, but that damage reduction is negligible. It does however apply to crit, melee, spell and gun damage.
@@Shirodragoon not sure it works so prolly only gonna run it if im doing a from the shadows spore warden ricochet build cause ik the ricochet gets ability damage, was thinking of doing a stabo zerker with perma invis from zerkers capstone, and you could just stack crit and frost damage and go crazy, or maybe even do a melee build while invis, really liking the combos and diversity the game has so far
It's about the same for me with normal mod and 40% probably better tho if you don't have paradigm with 2+ dmg rolls
Grenade mod I had a poison cube mod so it's for the thunder cube grenade mod probably more cubes added

I'm newish to Borderlands. I played 2 all the way through on multiple characters. But I've never been able to figure out what the red words on item perks mean.
They are usually references to a multitude of different things in the real world. Some kinda tell what the item does, some do not hint to it whatsoever

First piece of volatile gear I got was the blank slate, but I got no stats on it aside from the experience gain

Also from what I understand the first red text can change it can either start with a c or a k and if it starts with a K it's supposed to be stronger I don't know if that's true or not though
The one with 100 spell cooldown drops from vending machines in offline mode, you must be offline and all vending machines will also sell various legendaries, some are volatile if you have chaos 20, nerf incoming.
ive been noticing that vending machines in like fearamid just go insane, just legendarys in all 3 shops everytime. if your just pure farming for world drops seems way better than zomboss

I got one that's +40% damage dealt but I do less damage with it equipped than I do with my regular class mod that has way more added benefits
There's a spell that shoots out a big cube. Maybe try it with that? I have the spell
I've only ever got this drop from the dragon lord 5 different times, at least for me

In path of exile you have skill gems that get support gems that modify skills and you can link skills with support, getting 6 sockets is already rare asf and getting 6 links is rare asf
1500 orbs of fusing is the average to get a 6 link, and 6 slots and links aren’t even available until you basically complete your character at ultra end game, this item has a item level of 1 and is good enough to even use in end game builds for all content +
“Corrupting” the item gives it crazy random stats but then you can’t modify it anymore

6 Links arent ultra endgame and are actually not all that hard to come by. Rare yes but I SSFed with fusings 7 of them this league.

Consideration that 95% of players won’t ever touch maps let alone finish the campaign even the 5% that do half of them won’t ever progress to red maps, so to most yes it is endgame gear

What if you shot either NPCs or vendors with rockets? Ambivalence is to have mixed feelings and it has a rocket icon.
that big thundercubes makes me thing it gives extra ammo for electric element launcher or maybe damage with launchers yet never found that one nor the others so can't even test it.

So does this work with the From The Shadows ability? I’d assume not since it just guarantees critical hits and doesn’t give any straight damage boost or effects. Then again the Brrzerker’s doesn’t give any damage either right? Just swing a lot in a circle and gives more movement speed.

Ok... but, if you are playing a pet build, and using reaper of bones ability? If it ups ability damage by 100%, wouldn't that double the effect RoB has for pets?
Big Cube, with a rocket launcher ic9n, have you tried a poison elemental grenade launcher? Maybe you can shoot the big poison cube spell. Like change your ammo to the spell...
