Huge thank you Dom, so amazing to have the opportunity to own one of your Ranalah’s and so great to be able to show you around! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and happy new year! If you’re ever this way do pop on in. Thanks again.
Its wonderful to see young people with a passion for what they do. I wish them every success for the future, and well done Dom for providing the tools to help them on their way.
Brilliant video Dom. Not only have you placed another of your wonderful Ranalahs but what an inspirational guy that young man is. We obviously still have some brilliant youth and not all have to be university educated. I wish him every success
Wise beyond their years. Good on you Dom for all of your hard work to keep the Rolls Royce of wheeling machines alive. Must have been an extremely proud moment for you to see one of your Ranalahs wind up in the hands of some hardworking young guys that are keeping the craft alive.
In about '95 I began the restoration of my 1966 Norton 650SS. I needed the input of many craftsmen, and found seeking them out to be a life-changing experience. Everybody was so open and willing to share their expertise, and I learned a lot. I wish the best of fortune to Concours Classics.
You must be so proud in encouraging not only the art of fabricating panels, but encouraging young people into the industry. We're proud of you too, have a great Christmas
This was so great, Dom. It's inspiring to see what those young guys have accomplished and to know this delivery will be a milestone for them on their journey. It's as you say- the whole reason for all the work you've done bringing Ranalah back. Job well done. ♥it. Cheers.
What a great episode. So good to see young people starting up a business such as this and developing the specialist skills required. So great that they have invested in Ranalah. Dom, you must be so pleased and proud.
How great to see such passionate and skilled lads. I wish them every success. I saw a Ranalah in the wild a few weeks ago at Jim Stokes Workshops in Portsmouth !
Great to see all these cars and Concours Classics guys are helping us with that Corvette. Its having the full Restomod treatment. Tremec TKX 5 speed gearbox conversion, new front clip and disc brake conversion, EFI etc. Cant wait to see it all when its painted though! and these guys know their craft.
One of the most important aspects of a successful Small Business, as well as those mentioned in this video, is respect, and appreciation for colleagues, their skills and contribution to the work. Which this young man obviously has judging by the way he spoke of them here.
What an inspiring episode, these fellows doing this marvelous work with such dedication. Also heartwarming to see the Ranalah brand be reborn and all the work that has gone into its rebirth
Thank you Dom. Wonderful story and there is hope for the future generations of craftsmanship masters. If only you delivered it dressed as Father Christmas, white bearded as well. 😊. Cheers and Happy Christmas.
Total joy to watch and learn how the business was started. Any opportunity that you can show "Heritage" ex students doing their craft would be very interesting and a great PR at the same time. Excellent Xmas present!
Hugely inspiring video Dom and Dan. Thank you for posting this. The folks at Heritage Skills Academy will no doubt be overjoyed to see a company like Concours Classics established by one of their students. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Dom and Dan. Looking forward to the year ahead and what you put together for us.
What a lovely group of lads, you must be really happy that its gone to a good home. Happy Christmas to you and yours and everyone at Concorse Classics. 👍
So inspiring !! I know they will go from strength to strength as their passion is so evident. Plus they will do a great job on the 356 paint job one day 😊
Love the mini! I've got a 1975 mini 1000 my first car which ive owned since 2000, could never sell it, currently in bits until i get round to putting it back together!
Wonderful to see young guys so keen and dedicated hopefully you can take a trip back again sometime in the future.. Have a great christmas to you John and the team not forgetting wendy and best wishes for 2025 Robb Torremolinos Spain
Interesting set-up - Very competitive market now, so all best wishes for their continued success - However, I would say that the comment on the Mini is totally incorrect and does deserve a response. Rover did not change the quality of the steel - they did however change the process of build to make it more "efficient"..! (Later Honda & BMW did the same thing and in fact the Mini show on the ramp is one of the BMW influenced build models). The condition of the body depends heavily on where the car was driven and how the roads were treated in winter - his throwaway statement, I'm afraid, was a typical "sales pitch". I had the pleasure of visiting Longbridge on two occasions and co-incidentally the first time was on the change from BL to Rover and again when Rover "merged" with Honda.
On bad Chad's channel recently was a cnc metal forming machine that can make a rear fender for your porche in 45 minutes with no buck or anything what is your opinion?
Skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking lads, but no mention of how the start-up was financed. Did a bank really lend tens of thousands to an 18 year old?
@dancross The point I was trying to make is that this example should not be used to promote the idea that anyone can succeed if they work hard. All of the people who I have known to succeed in their own business have started either by being funded by their family or, in one case, by organised and persistent theft from their employers. You need to work hard to succeed but you also need money, which is what most would be entrepreneurs lack.
@DominicChineas I agree Dom but it pains me to think of putting an engine from a motorbike or ..... I am 61 an just love originality. I have to say though I bow to these guys' bravery . Thanks for you reply and great vids /tv Dom 👍
Subscribed for the aero engine car, but 4 months and not a singe episode. I will leave for now and check again in a few years. Cheers and good luck with your other projects.

I love how enthusiastic you are about seeing the Ranalah used. Pleasure to watch. I can see it’s not a business venture. More a labour of love.

Dom your van is overloaded 🤯
Good vid looking forward to more 356 ❤️
Poor van!!
Thanks Don for the video.
Love the mini! I've got a 1975 mini 1000 my first car which ive owned since 2000, could never sell it, currently in bits until i get round to putting it back together!
Turbo Hayabusa would drop nicely into their Mini;- serious power!😃
@@dennislane100I would go stock original personally, particularly with it being an earlier car, do that with a later car full roll cage etc.
Great stuff Dom, well done. Have a great Xmas mate.
Great video! Massively inspiring. Have given their channel a Subscribe, looking forward to seeing what they work on!
Awesome, thank you!
Great job.
Thanks!
Hi Dom, what can I say, except echo the sentiments of those comments below.

Robb Torremolinos Spain
Nice
Potential Ranalah spotted in the latest Retropower upload at an Aston Martin workshop.....
Pretty sure I spotted a Ranalah at ASR - wonder how many others are still in use?
Did you as whether they can help with the bodywork of your Edwardian racer?
Hey Dom! Whatever happened to the Double-oh seven (007) Ranalah machine?!?!?
It’s being used daily at Aston Martin works!
Well, that's one way to lower a VW transporter 😂
Just noticed the top wheel has a rounded edge. do you also offer a top wheel with squared edges for forming a body line?
That radius is to help with reverse curves, no sharp cornered one because I believe typically you would use the lower wheel to do that
Like listening to a young Ian Tyrrell

This should be compulsory viewing in schools careers advice sessions.
I agree!
What does the machine weigh?
"Next stop, Sussex...then to get the shocks replaced."
Poor van haha
On bad Chad's channel recently was a cnc metal forming machine that can make a rear fender for your porche in 45 minutes with no buck or anything what is your opinion?
🤘🤘👍
A wee bit heavy for your van that Dom eh
Just a bit!
👍😎
Skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking lads, but no mention of how the start-up was financed. Did a bank really lend tens of thousands to an 18 year old?
Is that really any of our business though?

I don't know how channels such as CEE can show moving things with a fork lift without loud musical accompaniment
👊👍
Just remember, it’s not an ‘English wheel’ it’s a wheeling machine.
I don’t mind what you call it haha
Leave the Mini as original it would be HORRIFIC to DESTROY the originality. Too many nutters do those and it such a shame.
Atleast it’s another one that’s back on the road!
@DominicChineas I agree Dom but it pains me to think of putting an engine from a motorbike or .....
I am 61 an just love originality. I have to say though I bow to these guys' bravery .
Thanks for you reply and great vids /tv Dom 👍
