- Ayoo what's up guys, it's your boy royalG here with a guide on how to peek. Peeking is a fundamental skill in valorant, but so many people don't realize how to properly do it (even radiants). This is why I felt like I needed to make a Valorant peeking guide. So... I'm gonna attempt to help you guys improve at valorant and master peeking!
Also, thank you @Joek1ngTV for letting me use his clip :D

Hey guys! Just to reiterate: I am NOT calling out Joek1ngTV!
I am only pointing out the misconceptions that even high rank players might have for peeking. Peeking is very nuanced and has a lot of considerations. I'm pretty sure even with all the time I've spent studying the game, I don't even have a complete understanding of peeking.
With that being said, I also want to shoutout Joek1ngTV for letting me put this clip in the video in the first place. It takes a mature and open-minded player to willingly put himself up for criticism.
W player and W mindset.
this right here is the exact reason I enjoy your content, positive attitude along with the respect of others is honestly admirable
@@onlymeld3611 I appreciate you :D
u were just tryna show that even a radiant player isnt perfect
and every tip online isnt that helpful
LUv you royal
Oh man, everytime I see your video it makes me wanna play lol
I just watched your classic only to immortal and it was too good to be true, like how do you do that??
This is one of the best peeking guides. It covers the basic and advanced concepts of peeking.
You could say it cover all conner…😏
And just not me my enemies also learning at the same time with 0% od difference 🤣
bro y tf does this guy not have 100k already.
1. Royal makes qualitiy content

litrrally this

Thank you for the guide and visual examples. i've been playing casually since launch and finally want to try climbing the ranks up and genuinely improving, so i'm taking the game more seriously and looking for guides. Your video explains things well, applies information effectively, and the examples help solidify the peeking information because I can understand WHY these general rules are in place for peeks, and not just try to remember the rules themselves. great vid :)
The T or Right angle rule is such a great descriptor. So many of the older CS guides can't even measure properly HOW to peek, but you could plug your format into an equation and MEASURE the distances for peeking. Thankful for you and that Valorant measures in Meters. Maybe a mathematician can measure peeks like the B main angle on Ascent from your video example! (By making an equation to measure "Correct" peaks and when to break that rule based on a Y factor like a flash or certain weapon difference)

This is the type of content that should never be overlooked, it provides pretty much an entire and completely composed and educated lesson on this type of mechanic. You gave fundamentals, a good example, a bad example, explained why examples are good and bad, and specifically explained and gave an example of each peeking mechanic. it's awesome.
This is such an amazing in-depth guide! I’m sending it to my friends because they have problems with peeking! It really helped me a lot as well! Thank you royalG :)
This is actually the most helpful tip on how to peek, and probably what I have been looking for, it showed all my peeking mistakes and helped fix it. Out of all the videos, there's only one that's actually trying to help, and not saying the same stuff each time. Good job
This is by far one of the best guides written. It's well put together with actual good information and little fluff. Well done.
The way you explained in this video made things a lot more clear! Thanks for this guide it was amazing!
Great video, I love the direct comparison of own perspective vs enemy perspective, it's super helpful!
This is a high quality video. I have struggled with proper peeking for so long and I have never seen anyone break it down so simply before.
I love this. People misunderstand what it takes to know and the level of thinking that goes into high level play. This is why there's a lot of people who believe they deserve a higher rank than what they are, or people who think they can judge pro players.
Thanks a lot for making this video! this is exactly what I was looking for. I peaked Immortal, I still feel like the way I peak sometimes is really bad and causes me to lose some rounds, so I really needed to hear some of this information . Also I love your content, you're really an amazing content creator and I hope to see more from you in the future.
Hi royalG! I just wanted to thank you for there guides, since ive started watching these videos i ranked up so fast. Thy for making these!
Youre not only talented, but also one of the coolest radiants ive seen on YOutube. I wish you the best and hope to see you at the top of Valorant RUclips one day!
You are really gifted at breaking down complicated concepts for people to learn.
one of the best guides out there, very well done
Been watching all your videos on YT and I'm in love this your channel. Keep up the good work. This is peak content
this video is extremely insightful and well edited. 10/10
honestly found you through the classic to immortal challenge, which btw congrats on hitting that recently, and im enjoying the tips you give from this channel. the advice you gave was really nice and easy to understand
Ur soo good at explaining, in like 5 minutes i could already understand why the wall peek is bad, your awesome man keep up these bangers, and ill make sure the check out the twitch!
WOW this was really insightful! So many elements I have never heard of that I know is a reason for me doing bad. Its not just the same common tips! TY!
This was a really good breakdown and I learned a lot more than I thought I would
This video is over a year old and is still helping players. My peeks have never been better thank you king 👑
this the video that'll help me out, I've watched tons just to learn and I'm fairly new but I think this has really helpful tips explained very well.
Underrated content, i learned a lot from this video, very good editied video, keep it up my man!
Hey royalG, i love peeking, and i am currently trying to master the art of peeking, founding this guide has opened a lot of new concepts of peeking like the "T Rule", i consider my self a fast peeker and with your guide i will be able to progress further more, i will be documenting my progress practicing peeks, thanks for this amazing guide, You're the G!
pd: new sub :)
Great video with great insight!
This is a very good explanation of peaking. Helped me understand it a lot better
love this video. it helped me a lot in peaking and along with my gamesense. Now I can get outta hardstuck iron :) deserved a sub
Thanks bro this video answered a lot of questions i had in mind ❤️
I just recently started to get into Val after playing apex at the highest skill lvl (not competitive; I wish). Currently P2 and this has been the best guide there is to conceptual peeking. A lot of the points you made, not only had a reasoning behind it bit I've also experienced it in game before watching this vid. 10/10 vid highly recommend watching it 👍
Amazing guide. I think I come out of this vid understanding peaking mechanics waaaaaaay better.
this was really helpful, thanks!
DUDE this clears up so much bs guides i've been following, especially the one with angle advantage, thank you bro
Really cool video. Just nice when people spread their knowledge to help other to improve instead of making them bad because they're not as good as yourself. Really good advices akd good explained. It's apkeasure to learn from you :)
very nice guide, idk why i just found it now. really helps me open my mind.
Very helpful guide !, and its easy to understand.
Glad I stumbled upon this video! Great information and presented in a way that's very easy to digest. Easy sub!
Love your videos, G. Keep it up.
Bro you are the only one ik and it’s my first time on your channel and keep the hard work .bro fr im s3 i played with my diamond teammates and i was almost top fragging with your guide ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Awesome video. Loved it.
Thanks for this video chief!
Bro thank you for this guide
i usually never comment on tutorial videos but holy shit you did such a phenomenal job explaining peaking and changed my perspective on peeking! coming from a b3 ty!
Keep making peaking videos. Dig into those nuances I love it !
thank you this really helped out alot
thankyou this is so helpful!
Also something that helped me greatly even if theres a corner where u dont expect an enemy still check it as if there was one it really helps you get into the mindset of how to properly peak and might even make you realise that the enemy mightve been able to kill you the way you peaked the angle so it might make you improve how you peak
Very nice guide!
Thank god another RoyalG guide more pls
it would help me a lot if you made a video explaining all the types of peeking and when to use each one of them (I know you already said it in the video but it was just an example and I'm curious to know when I should strafe/jiggle on cover or just peek normally , or even do a wide peek)
Sick guide, G
Genuinely helpful, makes me realise that the bad advice from radiants have been messing me up. Cannot express how much of a game changer this is, I was wondering what I was doing wrong - since, from the perspective of all the advice I've been getting, I was supposedly doing everything right. Your information with actual science backing it was very helpful and makes me understand the game more.
If anyone is reading this, don't fall for it. This is a bot, if it wasn't obvious enough already, report them. The fact that these bots still exist, just means there are some people out there still falling for it, don't be that person.
amazing video as always :)
Most informative video so far on peeling, wel done 😊
Agree, now I can peel bananas correctly and I even peeled one apple!!!
@@sodiacTV haahhaha
i know this doesnt have much to do with the video itself but i appreciate the subtitles. as a non native english speaker, it makes it way easier to understand. ty man!
I'm a CSGO player and found a lot of this guide useful. Thanks!
super informative subbed :)
Loved it as a basic introduction to peeking
Great video
The “Perspective” tip changed my game a lot!
you might've just gottem me out of asc with this video + counter strafe guide, thanks is not enough, God bless
thank you sooo much for explaining that part on 7:50 I was wondering for so long how to approach angles like these with a wall behind my back if I should stay far back as possible. Nobody else is talking about this
This was so helpful.
best guide hands down
I love how this info will just get tossed aside when ur actually in the game for some ppl
thank u for this !
you make some pretty good guides.
autosubs! guide super easy to understand! salute!
Nice vid!

GO FISHIESSS(and the new chicken army)!
WTF TIKO?? BIG FAN
Great explaining W vid
Another W video royal
I’d love an even further breakdown on when and how to wide peak, jiggle peak, and standard peak
Great stuff dude. Editing was too much for my taste though, but didn't "ruin" the content :)
It does help... nuance is something you must learn, which gives a good start.
You are reading my mind.
(immo1)I'm Trying to teach my friend (iron3) how to improve and wanted to cover swinging and peaking today. But since you've done that video came out. Time saved and you probably described it better
nice! actually helps, time to test it ingame
Tysm, even tho its been a year since youve posted this it is really going to help me climb ranks with my team.
Good work 👍
so informational bro is smart
I (personnally) think, the majority of the tips in the vids are just obvious et logical elements. But as obvious as it is, it's still really hard to keep all in mind everytime you peek and still be fast on your shots (while being accurate of course).
Good reminder of how the game works and good exercice too keep us from autopiloting I think.
as someone coming back to val after almost a year of playing other games, thank you for this
Best peeking guide valorant.
did you think we wouldnt notice Littleroot theme ? u're dope dude
for me, who suffered bcs cant peek and finally understand it how important peeking is (btw i was a stuck silver but then after 2 weeks i got to diamond 3 with yoru with actual peek knowledge). for me the closer u are the enemy the bigger your hitbox is, that's why most high rank player peek further. even taking a few steps back is precious if u can make the enemy not lining up with your head. and then understanding when to use jiggle, swing wide, crouch peek is super important. especially the crouch peek for me is super crucial because it's quick, and the enemy had to move his mouse to aim to your head and usually their aim is all over.
deploying irl soon, gonna try some of these!!
Jollz started this trend now im loving it because most high ranking players doing this free coaches.
thank you kind sir!!
