  • Ayoo what's up guys, it's your boy royalG here with a guide on how to peek. Peeking is a fundamental skill in valorant, but so many people don't realize how to properly do it (even radiants). This is why I felt like I needed to make a Valorant peeking guide. So... I'm gonna attempt to help you guys improve at valorant and master peeking!
Also, thank you @Joek1ngTV for letting me use his clip :D

Hey guys! Just to reiterate: I am NOT calling out Joek1ngTV!
I am only pointing out the misconceptions that even high rank players might have for peeking. Peeking is very nuanced and has a lot of considerations. I'm pretty sure even with all the time I've spent studying the game, I don't even have a complete understanding of peeking.
With that being said, I also want to shoutout Joek1ngTV for letting me put this clip in the video in the first place. It takes a mature and open-minded player to willingly put himself up for criticism.
    W player and W mindset.

Thank you for the guide and visual examples. i've been playing casually since launch and finally want to try climbing the ranks up and genuinely improving, so i'm taking the game more seriously and looking for guides. Your video explains things well, applies information effectively, and the examples help solidify the peeking information because I can understand WHY these general rules are in place for peeks, and not just try to remember the rules themselves. great vid :)

  • @cellglhf

The T or Right angle rule is such a great descriptor. So many of the older CS guides can't even measure properly HOW to peek, but you could plug your format into an equation and MEASURE the distances for peeking. Thankful for you and that Valorant measures in Meters. Maybe a mathematician can measure peeks like the B main angle on Ascent from your video example! (By making an equation to measure "Correct" peaks and when to break that rule based on a Y factor like a flash or certain weapon difference)

for me, who suffered bcs cant peek and finally understand it how important peeking is (btw i was a stuck silver but then after 2 weeks i got to diamond 3 with yoru with actual peek knowledge). for me the closer u are the enemy the bigger your hitbox is, that's why most high rank player peek further. even taking a few steps back is precious if u can make the enemy not lining up with your head. and then understanding when to use jiggle, swing wide, crouch peek is super important. especially the crouch peek for me is super crucial because it's quick, and the enemy had to move his mouse to aim to your head and usually their aim is all over.
