Non guitarists dont understand how much time it took to first figure out the notes and then learn to play them, its so hard because its a live version and not a studio version.

I''ve always been a huge fan of MK since I was 14 and I decided to learn guitar when I first heard Sultans of Swing. I've never seen such a perfect cover version of the Alchemy version of this song, this is absolutely fantastic, congratulations Dylan!

While only have played for 3 DAMN YEARS kinda makes you WAY more unique. while Khalid has been playing since he was a kid. (not saying he's below you, because he was better at guitar than me when he was 8 aswell 😭)

Thats amazing cover! And it shows how great knopfler was ! Imagine how complicated it is to perform that at home, after several release . The guy did it live on stage in front of thousand of people, after already hour of shows and without a missing a chord . Talent
I spent many years searching for covers of the Alchemy versions on RUclips... looking for someone who would richly transcribe the details that we couldn't see properly in the show, because of the camera cuts or the low light on the stage... Ismail Khalid has the guitar gift and grew up absorbing DS/MK style... But you have so much talent and precision as he does... And you still show us everything in CLOSE-UP!!! 🔍 So much dedication couldn't be any different coming from someone named Dylan...🎼Amazing guy!!! 🎸

It.s kinda numbing. I started guitar playing a year ago, just to be able to play Sultans of swing, my alltime favorite song. Its the only song I play. And now I see this, and I realise how freaking far im off.. man. You are awesome!

This is my favorite song. When I say I’m obsessed, I truly am. I have been listening to this everyday, for a few years. A few months ago I discovered the live version. The live aid is my favorite live one. You sir are an absolute guitar genius. I’ve watched many covers and I can unequivocally say you are the best at playing anything by Mark.
