Don't buy a door that is ONLY on mains electric. Power cuts happen, especially in bad weather. If your pet is outdoors when the power fails is your animal then locked out 🥶 !!
@@BlueBearOne This was the only one I purchased. Had door and window guys out to help but no fix. Finally, a handyman friend and I figured it out for regular type weather, but in bad storms I have to put sand bags against the door to keep the water out. When I called the company they told me they never sold it as being waterproof…stupid answer from them because I went crazy warning everyone. Living in Florida all I was worried about was water. The room was cooler in the winter, but it’s Florida and I was able to deal with it.

Do not but the High Tech pet door, it’s not waterproof. Water comes in under door.
Do you have one?
@@Furby-luv3r yes
@@unapologetically_me oh no!
Before it started leaking, did you like it?
Thank you. I'm trying to find the best one for large dogs that are still energy efficient. Just starting my research. Any suggestions?
