Thanks again for leading me to this video on the Hybrid install. I liked the light show at the end of the video and it really looked brighter. In real time, when facing the car, do those 35w lights have the same glow of the headlights? I like when both match and not look like one of my past cars did where the headlights were halogen and the fog lights LED. I am looking for a uniformed look.
I drove my CRV for the first time at night in the rain speeding to work on the highway. No lie, i found visibility to be very limited. I think ill need to install these too.
Very nice installation. I ordered the kit plus the sensor relocator kit. Once the sensor is relocated, how do I get the sensor wire connector attached to the sensor ? Do I need to cut some of the plastic housing away ?
Please tell me how the side view looks like ? I have a 15% tint... at night I cannot see where I'm turning, habe to open window I really need a fog lights so I can see my sides where im turning into ! Does this fog lights provide good side coverage ?? Thank you.
@IvanRossS, it's good enough, but it the further it projects, the wider the beam spreads. They are very bright, so they should be fine for what you need them for. Just remember to aim them properly as they will need adjustment when installed.
Can the parking sensor be placed above in the body colored area instead? I see in some photos it can be. How would you do that? Do you need a body colored sensor?
@xulisvoosmuas yes. It can be placed in the bumper as you see in the pictures. Also, yes, you would need the body colored sensor, which is not available in the U.S. you would also need the hole punch tool to make the new hole.
@promotionelista2780 I'm really not sure. I think it is tho. The sensors on the crv is 18.5mm. I had to make the hole a bit bigger to fit the oem sensors
Just got the kit. Do the light bulbs not flush along the plastic trim pieces? Any recommendation on the aiming of the fog light, like the setting of it?
@parthpatel6251 No, they don't. The adjustment is on the side. Adjust them all the way down, then check it, and if they are too low, bring them u up a tad bit. Just not too high where it's blinding to on coming traffic
I could not get the radar sensors to fit into the retaining brackets included in MIkstore's sensor relocation kit. Did you have to modify them? The factory retainers are different and have slots in them for the ribs on the sensors.
Did you install the 35W fog lamps or the 40W projectors lamps? Also, after you moved the parking sensors, how well do they operate ?Are they same as before?
@@RTI876 with the 35 W is it projector lamp or reflector lamp? I am guessing the 35 W comes with a ballast to plug in so it can lower that much Watts, correct?
Just had these installed. Seems like the left one is put in wrong and the light is facing up not down towards the grown like the right one. Do you think this is possible or is it defective? Left one is illuminating upwards like high beams instead of downwards!
@gamblersstory9081 the adjustment is on the side of the light fixture facing down. You need an allen key to perform the adjustment. The area is at the bottom
Thank you. I got the 40w amber projector and I honestly think it just too bright and blinding. I think the glare is caused by the beam hitting the bottom housing and reflecting. I think it’s a design flaw. For the 35w you installed, is it very bright for oncoming cars? I’m thinking about switching up to the 35w. Thanks
@joshuabob7302 I'm not sure where they came from. I'm thinking about rewiring it tho. I'm gonna connect it to the fuse box. I'll put out an updated video as soon as I get it done
@nahlho1807 I didn't buy the kit. It was sponsored, and I installed it myself. I think it will cost about $400 for everything tho... I'm not sure. I do have the lights for sale, not including the stalk. $150

Where do the sensors go? Cause yiu have to remoce them to place the lights
@WorldMythology-f9m this video shows where they go
How is the light output since installing a fog light is it a big difference compared to not having it on the crv
@neilgray6264 it is a huge difference. Watch the video time stamp 8:50 and you will see the difference when I turned it on.
