Dude your videos are on a whole other level then what they were when you first started. Keep grinding man!
Thanks man! I appreciate that
I see that Tito's Brad. I'm heading over. I will bring the cranberry juice. LOL
I miss being a young dad. You are a Great one!! Love that you enjoy your boys so much! Great video! I met Brant last time I was down that way. Hope to meet you next time! Cheers!
Thank you!
Anything new, just try oil, butter, salt and pepper. If that's not the flavor you want then, by all means, go for your favorite seasonings. You've worked hard, fishing at those depths, for fish, few have had the pleasure of ever tasting. Up here our "poor man's lobster" is Monkfish. Mild fish that has lobster like texture that keeps together like chunks of lobster and lends itself to whatever seasonings you like. Great in a Bouillabaisse. I like all fish and am not put off by stronger flavored fish. Even Atlantic Mackerel, quite strong is delicious when caught and cooked fresh. Love all the videos from "The Triple Threats of the Panhandle". You know who you are.
Look at Brad with a cinematic b roll great job
Lol doesn’t happen often!
Love the way you started video. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you! I spent more time than usual with this intro
Nice catch Brad, wanted some fresh caught fish cooked on the boat, hopefully next time 🧑🏽🍳 🍻
Neap tide has always sucked for me when land based/wade fishing most of the time. All the way up until I bought a solo skiff to get me into some heavy feeding areas with no traffic, that all changed then. The bite is usually always better when there is some good tidal movement it seems in most cases though.
Man that is on my bucket list! I have had tilefish before! Awesome meat! A favorite of mine
The collars off the tiles is the very best part of em.
The JIG is finally up.😊😎
Daiwa MJ 1200 is my recomendation. For what you fish for. I love mine An upgrade from the Tanacon 1000 . which has been good to me. But You wont regret.
Killer episode! Love this channel. (Go Dawgs!!!)
Thank you!
come up to new jersey next summer for yelllowfin and big tile fish
Excellent RUclips video bro and the editing is one of the best I’ve ever seen. From a Cook Islander
1445 to the tip 1250 high to roof 120 stories. Empire State building that is. Love from the ole hillbilly Kenny and Alisha, peace and god speed!
Can’t wait to see the new house!
I'll tell ya from reeling up halibut from 950 ft in the PNW I wanted a electric reel so bad lol.
I bet! Lol
Get it Brad!
Tried sword fishing for the first time in my new boat last week. Need to get you up here and show me how it’s done!
Did not see the link to other RUclipsr in the description.
It should be on there. @saltyswiggs
Just subscribed
Probably off the intercontental shelf that deep. Suggestion. Not much structure out that far but the "LIP" of the shelf is usually always good fishing serving as steucture. Straddle it and anckor off. Fish both sides & lip its self.
I actually tried triggerfish the other night for the first time. I got it because you always say it is your favorite. I tried it with various different sauces, but the best was just dipped in melted butter. That's what I think you should have dipped the tile fish in.
That would’ve been good. Just like lobster
😂 the dirty jokes. I died laughing!
😂
A skull mount on a tile fish is insane looking. A mount in the store would draw attention.
That sounds pretty cool!
I've had File Fish up north in Massachusetts. Dee-licious. Enjoy.
I also go fishing but watching you fish is great. Always support you
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Oh kids, just being kids😂
Looks like a great day.
It was fun!
That looks like fun !! I’ve never done that!! 🧨🧨🧨
Next you’ve got to learn to free dive to 900’ and spear them ! 😜
How far is the nearest wreck? That might be worth the extra miles gas?
900ft x 12in/ ft / by 49in per crank = 225 rotations!! Hardcore fun!
How far offshore did you have to go to get that depth?
51 miles
@@BeardedBrad92from where..
Loggerhead ridge is 1600 feet. 120 miles offshore from Galveston. Average golden tilefish is 36 inches
The Empire State building has a height of 1,454' from ground to tip.
OK dude another great video glad you’re trying different things enjoyed ✌️
Are those tiles keepers?
Go Vols! The number 1 eating fish, or at least top 5, way to go y'all. I get wore out fishing 100ft, of course you use an electric reel in 900ft.
GBO!
1250’ Tall the Empire State Building
Good job,,👍
What reel would you recommend for shark
When I was in the Navy my CO said, “Fish call!” We are in the Indian Ocean and so I went to get a pole. I was letting line out and it seemed bottomless. So I went to the Navigator and asked how deep was the water? He said, “10,000 ft!”I could not reach the bottom and was told to only fish the surface. At the stern sailors were catching dolphin. What a beautiful day it was. I never did catch a fish even though I was fishing the surface. Just remember that when you are out to sea you are never more than one mile from land…straight down!
5,280' in a mile, so it was almost 2 miles down.
Amazing how much does it cost by the pound
Not sure what it would cost from the store.
At 49 inches it's basically 4 foot per crank. In 1000 feet of water that's basically 250 cranks. That's not terrible especially when you think about once the fish hits halfway It's going to float up.
If you keep all the lines on one side of the boat when drift fishing you'll significantly reduce the tangles
I have just subscribed
Sammy Hitzke hates those green eyed sharks. Thought they were only on his side of the pond.
The Empire State Building to the tip is 1454 feet
1454 feet to the tip of the empire st. building ...1250 ft or 380 meters tall
About 225 cranks. Lol
DJI Osmo 4 does not overheat like the GoPro. If it does overheat the battery is less than 5%.
900ft x 12in divided by 45in = 240
Empire State is 1,400 feet to the tip.
220 revolutions
Empire state building is 1250', 1454' to tip.
Nice 🐟🐠 fish... But you didn't catch anything, the electric reel DID 😅
Doubled up on the slow pitch in 900’ id say that counts as a catch
Brad think about making a video for are friend camera man Ron he needs your help ,love your show
We have reached out to his family about that.
@@BeardedBrad92 you guys ROCK
Empire state building to the tip is ..1,454 feet ( 443 ) meters
Hey Brad
Algorithm question please help! My fishing channels getting about 1000 views per video. Adding boat walk-throughs have gotten me significantly higher views on those vids. Should I start a second channel or let the boat videos build my Fishing Channel which is what I really want to focus on? ty
That is some FINE eating!
Heck ya!
The Empire State Building; opened in 1931; 1454 (443.2 meters) at pinnacle,102 stories.
1450 feet i believe is the empire state building
49 inches per crank is about 4.083 ft so 900ft would be about 220.4 cranks.
got to get those kids off the ranch. great vid
What’s wrong with ranch?
can't put it on everything@@BeardedBrad92
Emoire state building is 1250 feet bro👍👍
1,250 feet is how tall the empire state building is
1250' tall and 1454' to the tip
I'll let you strong arms and good shoulders people handle the hand cranking. 😅 I'll use Mr electric reel.
That’s definitely the way to go!
for the few guys watching this that actually know what they are doing.... I am also cringing..
Many cringings.
👏
Please explain, so those of us don’t cause future cringing.
1000 ft of water! I’d feel no shame whatsoever, using an electric reel! That’s just smart.
Hake is good fish. Really similar to grouper.
Boys are getting so big
Yes they are!!
(900*12)/48 jk nice vid!
Empire State building is 1250 ft tall
Empire state building is 1250. Better go a little deeper for that height.
228 cranks to get up
Empire State Building 1,250’ tall
1250 ft and 102 stories
Empire state building 102 stories & 43rd Tallest building in the world
A three hour rreel
1250 feet tall1454 to the tip
I would use an electric reel!
1250
225 cranks at 900 feet I'm good
225 cranks from 900 feet
300 gr ios 10.56 ounces, not a pound.
1,250 ft
When I went electric.Never went back. Nothing sporty about reeling a reel. It's a reel! Not a carved peice of wood. With steel hooks! Line made from a machine. Who you all kidding? I work two reels.
1,250 feet
900÷48=18.75
Slow growing Tilefish. 5 - 7 years before they even breed.
Height 1,250’ to tip 1,454’
18.75
I'll never fish with a winch. It takes the sport out of it. Trying it once is acceptable but you catch bigger and better in shallower water. It's me against the fish. If I can't reel it in I shouldn't be fishing that depth. JMO
empire state building is 380 meters (1,250 feet) tall
328 meters not revolutions
That’s what I thought, but Matt said it is revolutions 🤷🏼♂️
Your boys are to loud over your voice at the end of your video!!!
Empire State Building is 1,454FT
I forgot how bratty kids can be. No respect and no manners. I was happy to learn about Golden Tilefish, though.
Lol they’re 4 and 6 year old boys. Full of energy!
Such a nice lady....................................
@@BeardedBrad92 Understood, but watching from this end, expecting more of catch and cook video, they acted like animals while you were trying to show the fish and how it cooked up and tasted. How will they ever learn the proper times for play and time for civility unless you teach them. They way they grabbed at food and the plate...would you allow a dog to do the same? I saw the posts about the cringe-worthy fishing trip and I agreed, but said nothing. I figured you guys were just 'on something' and it wasn't just tilefish. Bringing them to the surface so quickly so their eyes bulge out was hideous enough! I should have stopped watching then and not have given your channel the benefit of comment, which inspired more comment. Exactly what tubers want and need, right? Sit back with an open mind from a fisherwoman's/fisherman's point of view and watch the video. Also, take criticism constructively and use it to better your product. I can only imagine what those kids are like in a restaurant or other public places. Do they totally ruin the often very expensive dining out experience for everyone else because 'they are 4 and 6 yrs old'? The other one screaming in the background was as bad, just not on camera. Pull up your big boy panties and teach your kids to at least respect you. Then, they may know how to act in front of others(everyone on the other side of the video trying to watch it). Tell them what you expect for behavior now. One day, they'll be teens and the excuse for poor behavior won't be as cute as you think it is now. 🤨
