    Very informative straight forward
Why we dont retract the gear in order to reduce the drag in the escape maneuver?

Good question! You don't retract the gear, untill the windshear is no longer a factor, because it also reduces the lift and, your target is to get off of the ground!👍

During a wind shear escape maneuver it’s not necessary to retract gear because the airspeed has not exceeded the maximum gear extended speed. The time that gear extended does effect drag is in the higher airspeed regimes. During climb out ldg gear exd is no factor.

What you need for your videos is more professional sound.
You need better microphone and something like acustic panels because it is a little bit echoing.
    Just my impression.

Many thanks for your feedback.. Very appreciated... I'm working already on setting up a new microphone.. It will be live soon 🎤.. Have you seen the flight path vector Video that I made yesterday?.. Take care 👌

      Hello Captain
Thank you very much captain for making the video. I have watched the first 8 min but will watch it complete later.
Take your time for better hardware.
You dont need to do that asap.
Here are some other ideas for videos:
-windcorrection in the FMC. When you have to use it and how do you know which values you have to put in. With two or three examples.
-Acceleration altitude. How do you know which values you have to take according to the chart.
Also how do you know which values you have to put into the FMC considering Noiseabatements. Please with a few examples.
      -Thrust reduction altitude
Same as acceleration altitude. How do you know from the charts which values you have to take from the charts to enter it in the FMC?
      -Eng out acceleration altitude
How do you know which values you have to take?
      Thanks

Can you make a video with explanation of Flightpath vector?
    How do you use it?

Captain, is the IAS affected by winds in cruise? Thanks

    • @PILOTCLIMB
      @PILOTCLIMB  3 года назад +1

Hey, great question!! It is, if you have a rapid wind change the IAS will increase or decrease depending on the wind change. If the wind is steady the IAS doesn't change much.

@@PILOTCLIMB Thank you for your quick reply. That´s why the IAS will fluctuate in a windshear encounter, conditions outside the airplane are a mess.

What simulator do you use here?
