My thoughts:
Inventory: 1.10 (Better tabs/search function)
Nether: 1.0 (Things that are not necessary aren't there)
Dispensers: 1.10 (Able to dispense more things)
Boats: 1.10 (We all know why)
Saplings: 1.10 (More types)
Flowers: 1.0 (Barely anybody uses the newer kinds, roses are iconic)
Redstone: 1.10 (More options, makes for better creations)
Wither: 1.10, but seriously, this wasn't a fair comparison. I won't be counting it in my final result.
Ice: 1.10, same with Wither.
Ores: 1.0 (This was a tough one, but they were more common as andesite, granite and diorite spawn after ore, and barely anyone uses emeralds and quartz is primarily a building block.
Glass: Again, not a fair comparison.
Options: 1.10 (More options in options, but using optifine doesn't count. Also, optifine was around in 1.0, too)
Potions: Tie. In early versions of 1.0 there were over 2,000 potions. In 1.10 we have a little over the ones left, but barely anyone uses lingering potions.
Farming: 1.0 (Better bone meal, beetroot is useless, carrots + potatoes are just kinda there to be there.)
Mobs: 1.10 (More mobs, mobs like skeletons are more of a challenge)
Logo: This is up to personal preference. I won't be counting it in my final result.
A big thing that I think should have been there: Biomes. 1.0 would have won because extreme hills are actually extreme, and you find more biomes instead of plains, savannas and roofed forests all over the place. I will be counting this because of the things like Wither, ice and glass that obviously would have given 1.10 an unfair lead.
Final result: 1.10. Even though I prefer 1.0, 1.10 has many things that make the game how it is now. Many things are in the older versions of the game (like 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5).

This video reminded me back when I played back in my old Minecraft days, well… only back when 1.4.7 came out back in early 2013 of February I think. When shifting in your inventory didn't exist in Minecraft yet. Man those survival and creative days, I missed them 😭

1.0 was really good. I played survival built my home stayed alive made my own village. However, the frickin 7 years olds took over. They destroyed Minecraft 1.0. Mojang updated Minecraft. I kept on crashing. Then it wasn't working. I felt so sad and my hardwork... gone. The game consoles came out so it was about time... I leave Minecraft.

i remember wanting to buy it and it was in beta 1.8.1 or just 1.8 but i think it quickly got released i remember it being before minecon 2012 that i got it so yea i loved it back then it was amazing

I believe I started in 1.2.5 (lol same version) in 2012. I just did a lot of stuff in creative mode. More memories come with Minecraft 1.7.2 in 2014.

well I wasn't here when 1.0 came out I was a little late but I was also little so like I can't complain I found out about minecraft from a youtuber called Stampy and I remember in his flower power video when I saw a skeleton I was like "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT" I really didn't know that it looked like a skeleton but what I remember is that minecract gave me the power and also an addition but I still love minecraft :)
