Yenne, I have heard this tune many times & one of the nicest versions was by Ed Gerhard, Your version is as equally haunting & beautful. You have such a wonderful tone & expression. I have been playing Blues & Hard Rock since the 70s but i can truly appreciate other styles & yours is a gift & plenty of hard work on your part to become a very fantastic musician. I will look for your CD & get a copy as you certainly deserve to be heard. Very nice work. Your take on Autumn Leaves is stunning as well. Thanks for sharing your talent.

I still prefer Ed Gerhard's version & Yenne's just for the lower registers they play in. Kanaho use's a capo on the 5th fret which gives the song a higher pitched sound & that's fine she does a great job . I prefer a bit more bass in there with no capo.

Such pure playing, such a simple but immaculate arrangement, it’s so easy to just let the music work it’s way into your soul. So easy to write this comment. It would be wonderful to hear you and Karla Bonoff team up for a duet version of this song. But it’s quite wonderful as it is.
At sunday i was a little hangover and happy for the day before, i was calm and relaxed and needed some soft music so i found your 'Autumn leaves' and i LOVED it! Since that i've listened to alot of classical guitar songs, it's a "new" genre for me so thank you! Also, your 'Beutiful' album is truly beutiful.

My memory of this song is the recording by the American folksinger Odetta, probably in the 1950's. I hadn't heard it played in maybe 45 - 50 years. This is a beautiful, beautiful playing.
