This edit is from the brilliantly created Hobbit series and when I initially watched the movie, I really liked Kili and Tauriel's story but then I realized the true MVP here is Legolas with his unconditional love and support. So, I decided to make an edit of that instead.

@@IsisVqz I respectfully think that Tauriel didn't have any feelings for Legolas because she was clearly head over heels for Kili. She was well aware that if she did fall in love with Legolas, it would be forbidden. Even in the end she mentioned why love hurt so much to Thranduil why mourning over Kili's dead body hehe

@@IsisVqz Elves can only love ONCE in their entire lifetime. Hence why, despite being immortal, Elves can die of a broken heart. So no, Tauriel was never in love with Legolas since she did manage to fall in love with Kili. Even when Tauriel was mourning over Kili’s corpse she told Thranduil, “if this is love then I do not want it. Why does it hurt so much?” And Thranduil answered “Because it was real.”
I love Legolas and Tauriel's relationship, but I don't think they should have ended up together. I think it's amazing how Legolas stays loyal to her even though he knows she doesn't share the same love he has for her. It's really a testament to his character that he doesn't turn his back on her and doesn't hate her for it. Tauriel has no obligation to love him back just because he loves her. Even if they have known each other for a long time and they have been friends it doesn't mean the relationship needs to be romantic. I think even though Legolas is hurt by her feelings for Kili, he understands that he can't control her feelings and neither can she. So instead he helps her help the dwarves because Legolas and Tauriel are friends, and it would really be a poor relationship if those feelings were all it took to break them apart.

He gaved her all and she threw it in the fire. He risked his life not only for saving her. He risked his life to save the dwarfs she loves. He knew that 7 vs a orc army is impossible but he did it for her. And I will never forget the way he looked at her when she was kneeling by kilis body. He simply deserved better😢😭💔

That is a really interesting take on it! I kinda wanna believe that too because I do think that maybe she just got used to not having a chance due to their constricting society.

Something in Legolas and Tauriel's relationship makes me believe it is best undefined. They would guard, trust, love and care for each other. It is something beyond words and it is love in the most primal form.

Simple, yet powerful editing. You didn't make use of any fancy transitions, lightings or filters, but you chose the scenes for each line of the song carefully, and it had the imapct. I love the way you toned down the volume of the song and toned up the dialogue as and when needed. The right scene was placed at the right time, which is what made this edit so amazing. Thank God for Legolas' love and loyalty to her despite her feelings for Killi. Her love for Killi may have been real but Legolas' for her was too and it showed. He was a loyal friend to the end..to all who journeyed with him. Wish I had one of him...🎉😂--Jennifer,my sons mom,Burton.

He even left when Kili died. He could have stayed with Tauriel and perhaps 'tried' later, but he gave her space and realised, broken, that her heart did not belong to him. I'm sure Tauriel did love Legolas, but she gave up on that conversation with Thranduil because she thought their love would never work, and then later she fell in love with Kili. But she did love Legolas. In the end, both were left heartbroken 😞

Here's why I do not ship Tauriel and Legolas
Tauriel lost her battle of love with Legolas, gave up and fell in love with Kili instead. True love doesn't give up! Legolas kept loving her, and I felt his pain while watching the movies.
He followed her just to keep her safe, and even betrayed his father, also his purity of honour because of that. He is pure and always has been. He gave that up for her. Even though she kept on the wrong path consistently.
I feel so bad for Legolas. True lovers don't go away when a few problems arise, no matter what. She did.
I see your point. I would play devil's advocate and say that maybe tauriel just showed her love by sticking with him and trusting him in battle and appreciating his loyalty. But yes maybe she thought she could never be good enough for him according to their culture and tried to move on romantically instead.

I demand they fix this because they could’ve redeemed his fathers depressed love by showing him through their love to help him remember ❤ I believe they did and no one can tell me differently ❤️ it’s because he did that she tried denying her love but she loves Legolas deeply. You don’t forget it’s just that the dwarf gave her an object and attention. I believe Legolas would’ve stated his love for her had he’d been shown this from his father before it was too late.

Honestly, I love the friendship Legolas and Tauriel have, and I don't think they would be a very good couple. Apart from the fact, of course, that it would not be in line with the rest of the storyline (I mean LOTR). In my opinion, showing this one-sided love on the part of Legolas is something that was needed, because they show it in a very small number of films. Yet it is so common that someone loves someone without reciprocity. In addition, I am extremely impressed that he did not turn away from her after being rejected. He was still on her side, supporting, protecting and helping. In my opinion, their relationship is amazing after all. Well, Kili's thread - in my opinion a bit redundant and far-fetched.

They should have either made it reciprocated or done away with the plot line. They made him a simp for a woman who doesn’t even love him.
I think she loved Legolas however due to their King they could never be that and so the Kili shot his shot ❤ and it took. I also saw somewhere that once and Elf chooses a love it’s a once in a lifetime thing! I do wish they would’ve brought them back together after The Hobbit and he had the love he didn’t see his Father have for his mother and he gave that to his child(ren) with her!

I think still, that Kili and Tauriel are better together than Legolas and Tauriel. I always think of this possible scene: Kili and Tauriel in Rivendell and Legolas come to the cauncell, in Lord of the Rings, while Fili is King under the Mountain😭😭😭that would be so beautiful
Kili knew the world better and the threats facing it. He connected with Tauriel on a very different level than Legolas.

Why did she like killi when Legolas had been with her, for almost her whole life she was found with her whole village dead when she was just a child and they were friends ever since. Legolas Loved her so much and Thraniel banished her because if one of them died the other would die of Depression because the only way elves die Is from Depression, In Battle or being bored in Middle Earth. I think she always loved Legolas too. But after hearing his fathers disapproval, she felt unworthy. So she met Kili and opened her heart. Then she lost Kili.. and Tharundil realized that he lost his son and lost a daughter in law. This is why I think he told her because it was real love. The love she felt for Kili would have been the love she felt for Legolas his only son.. so they all mourned their losses. It could take hundreds or thousands of years if you live forever. Maybe in the end, Legolas and Tauriel could marry, and Tharundial could have his son back home.

Hi! Good question, I usually backup the Blu-ray versions of the content I use onto my computer and then turn it into a MP4 file. I bet if you can find some tutorials of how to do this on RUclips if you are interested! Another option is that you can download a program called 4K Video Downloader to pull scenes from RUclips clips to use.

Okay, so i kinda hate Tauriel. Not because of her personality and stuff but literally because she was shoved into the plot as a female character and a love interest. Yes, Lord of the Rings doesnt have that many female characters but that doesnt mean that people should put in a character that doesnt seem to fully fit into the story. The relationship between her and Legolas also seems kind of forced. All in all i think that the whole Hobbit trilogy was a bust.
