The clinical sharpness and sterility of the modern mirrorless cameras caused a backlash in me subconsciously. I found myself back to shooting film and even buying a TLR camera to reclaim the character in my images. I went down the rabbit hole of pictorialism, and now have discovered Olga's work. I love it.
Looking at your images I felt like I was dreaming with my eyes open. This is how images come to me in my dreams blurry , foggy, hazy and distant. Thanks for showcasing your work.
I really love what she's doing. I'm relatively new to photography and I can say that she is the first photographer I have memorized the name and come back to look at her work. I will for sure buy her books.
I have been doing more ICM lately but in color. Your work has inspired me to try black and white ICM since BW is my first love that I apply to the other genres of photography. Thank you for sharing!
Olga you are an inspiration. Photographers are somewhat a dime-a-dozen, and I tip my hat to anyone that can stand out within the myriad of creative individuals. My only critique is that I can't buy any of your books at the moment :)
thanks so much for your lovely comment, when ready to purchase just email me at okarlovac@gmail.com and we arrange the sale thanks again and happy holidays, olga
Regarding AI: I'd heavily disagree that AI generated images are any kind of art, even in a remote sense. Art requires a conscious action and an "entity" which is able to feel and to react to feelings and emotions. Calling AI stuff art is like claiming that creating a photo copy of a painting is an artistic process.
Olga, your work inspired me tremendously. Thank you!
I'm so glad! Thank you
I love Olga's work. When I first saw her work I immediately ordered her books. They are treasures.
Thanks so much
