    Love the 850 sp new 2017 I plow with is allot smoother then my buddies 570 eps. The close ratio AWD the sp has is really great.

    I love my 850. I cant wait till spring and summer. I am going to get a blade protector on the bottom and a rope for the winch not using my steel cable

    I have the same machine. I love it you can ride hard on the trails it realy bites and is stable in hard cornering. power steering is AMAZING it soaks up so much handle jaring over choppy trails . not uncomfortable at all driving one handed going by another Wheeler signaling how many are behind me .

      +Bradly Windsor I know what you mean it is nice having the power steering , I have a 2015 Polaris sportsman 570 EPS there is no comparison to my old 06 Polaris 330 magnum by the way I live in NJ and will be using my sportsman for snow plowing and pulling a small wagon

    This helps out a ton thank you, by the way I would change your cable to nylon rope, because after a while the cable starts to fray and cut your hands

    I just got a plow today for my 570. Still need to hook up winch and assemble plow. I got the 60 because it was only $15 more for me. Even though I have a super nice snowblower I thought this may be fun. Lol.

    Who ever you are it seems that those polaris 4x4 ATVs work better at plowing snow than garden tractors do, plus a lot more power.

    • @hitmhard
      @hitmhard  5 лет назад

      Yes, they plow a lot of snow in a short amount of time.

    Does anyone besides me HATE the shifter on his 850 Sportsman..Always in a bind.
    One would think after 20 years of building these otherwise fine machines they would figure it out

    • @helenv1347
      @helenv1347 5 лет назад

      I just bought mine they r working on getting it delivered. I noticed too that the gear shifter is very tough.they said it gets easier w time, which i think is not true

    • @ShadowRiderShooter
      @ShadowRiderShooter 5 лет назад

      We have a 570 and also an 850. Both SP. Both have a different transmission. 570 shifts butter smooth, 850 fights a bit because the engine/tranny is tansverse.

      My 2014 850xp has 4900 miles and is still tough to shift, been this way since new. I just thought it was mine for the longest time, but I was at the dealer looking at possibly trading it in on a new one, and it is the same. I decided to keep the one I have for a few more years.

    My can am 1000 binds up all the time 2. I would rather use a old pick up to plow or use a large snow blower. My Can Am needed new steering after 2 seasons of plowing - Atv do not have large enough steering components to take the weight of snow plowing.

    • @hitmhard
      @hitmhard  5 лет назад

      I'm on four seasons with no steering issues.

      @@hitmhard going into my 4th winter this year as well. No issues. Honestly when you look at the 570, 570SP, 850xp, 1000xp and compare them , and all the Highlifter editios, as well as the CanAm's..... to the 850 SP, (H.O.) (the same bike we both have) it seems like these 850SP's were almost purpouse built for plowing. I know folks on forums who have torn their CanAm's and 1000's apart trying to plow. The 850SP just seems to be built better.... idk if they have a more meticulous group of guys on that production line who pay more attention to what they are doing compared to the other productio lines who have younger guys and gals who just want to do their 8 hours and GTFO of work. ... but the 850 SP seems to hold up better than most of the polaris products.

      +MRJOHNDEERE3720. :) oh yeah I know the Glacier is steel. I actually checked one out at the dealer last week. It's just so thin and lightweight. The moose is 11guage steel and the whole thing is heavy. I like the weight but I like the ease of the Glacier so I'm tossed between the two. Any idea what ur friend dislikes about moose?
