I just wanted to say I know you’re retired, but your videos really help me. I’ve become a better Christian because you explain things to where I can understand. I am only on the 14-minute mark of this video but I can already imagine thousands of depressed people tuning out. What a hard message for people who have tried so hard for so long to feel normal. People who have tried so hard to help people understand to no avail. God can and does take chronic severe depression away. He absolutely did do it for me after 30 some odd years of trying in my own strength "to chin up", "think positive", and "to pull myself together" (ad nauseam). Why hasn't he done it for you? I don't know. Why did he let me suffer for so long? I don't know. Maybe he knew that the harder I suffered the more I would love him when the depression finally lifted, or maybe so there would be someone around who "understood". Can changing your thoughts cure depression? I don't think so. Not completely. Not permanently. It's too hard for someone in such a dark place to do on their own. Is this message total BS? Of course not. All things are possible with God. The more I turn my thoughts toward God the more He is able to fill me with His peace and light. My advice? Hold on to hope. Keep listening.
Many are depressed due to demonic oppression and dont realize it. We are looking for solutions in medicines and positive thinking when in fact we are to do spiritual warfare and resist it in Jesus Name

But when I'm down in the pit I can't think of nothing else but begging God to take me home. One time I went 2 yrs w/o symptoms. I thought I was well. But it came back.

God is so good! I had the worst experience in my life today, it's all my fault. But God still protected me and show the way to escape from this evil act. Second life though! I'm sorry for all the things I've done wrong, thank you for the love! I love you Jesus!!!!
Feel like I should reach out to you. I started drinking again this past month I have been going down a rabbit hole of self destruction. The only thing that's helped is turning towards God, reading the Bible and thinking spiritually and aiming towards God in every thought and feeling and action. Any of those that aren't godly, I turn them around back towards God. Yesterday, I went to an AA meeting and feel so much better. Now I need to continue to reach out and help myself.

I just stepped down from a Manager position. I couldn't deal with the panic attacks anymore. Was on salary. By the time I divided my hours down, I made less then my employees. I didn't get overtime. Just stress...when corp comes to visit. Employees that don't care. No time for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I remember praying a lot...please kill me now if You Love Me, or help me through this visit. Failed. I needed to get back to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. I didn't even have time for that. Anxiety piled up, way up. Because I was not meeting performance guidelines. From resets to new activities thrown at us. Try finding employees. 7 days a week. Usual I got one day off. A few weeks without put things in perspective. If I got lucky I got to talk to my 81 year old mother on Skype. One day off...no time to worship or do some sort of service/help in the community as I had done for years. I come home... eat what ever...sleep...no...collapse...sleep somewhat bc of panic and anxiety attacks (what ever I didn't get done at the store/lack of employees), back to work. Too tired to cook anything. Microwave what ever Stouffer meal. The Bacon and Shells is my favorite. I used to love to cook. Too tired. I stepped down from Manager to Assist Manager. Not sure if they..Corp. Might lose my job, Yes, Integrity got me there daily and giving it my best.Not once calling in sick no matter how sick I was. Just wasn't good enough for them. If I had one wish...train the CEO. So they see what is actually going on. How they are dividing us from God bc we don't have...yes we do. Step down. God will make a way. Jesus and the Holy Spirit on our side. Who can harm us? Nobody. Go to work. Have integrity. If they don't, it's their problem. I learned that in Pastor Rick's sermon last night. God is awesome. God got this.

I thought you said the 7 Churches in Revelation 2 n 3 was in Greece Roman and Asia Minor when really all 7 of them were in Asia Minor and in their exact order they record all Church History From 100 BC to today our 20th Century ending with Laodicia. Revelation 2 n 3 are maybe the 2 most important chapters as they are written by Jesus to His 7 Churches yet only in the order given does it carry 4 Dimensions of Fulfillment. 1. Why trust that faith is the path to truth when the same blind-faith we use to legitimize our beliefs can also be used to legitimize false beliefs? 2. If a claim can be tested for error, what could faith possibly offer us that science cannot? 3. If a claim cannot be tested for error, should we believe it on faith or remain skeptical of it? 4. If faith can be used to embrace false claims, don't we run the risk of damaging the lives of others based upon what may very well be errant beliefs? 5. What would our life be like if we stopped trusting in blind-faith beliefs and used critical thinking instead? Would our life be better or worse?
Great message for healthy people, however people struggling with mental illness can’t always choose. Their brain forces them to think poorly. Medication can help them gain control and then Warren’s therapy and prayer can help.
A little like I learn back when I did childcare they called it redo theater. If someone did a wrong to another instead of just saying you have to apologize to him. ecause unless they mean it, it's not effective. Then you take the circumstance and you redo it in a positive manner then it gives the child the ability to use that next time there's a confrontation or what not.

Your grieving feelings are normal. God, through belef in Jesus Christ as your savior, wants to comfort you. Reading Psalms or the book of John in the Bible will help you understand His love better. Or start talking to God honestly about your feelings and read the Bible after. I will pray for you and family.

-If acting scared you believe the things are scary.
5. Anytime I sin, I am believing the lie
-I am being tempted to believe the lie and ignore question the truth.

7. To win the battle inside my mind I must have GODs spirit and His WORD inside me

I am only on the 14-minute mark of this video but I can already imagine thousands of depressed people tuning out. What a hard message for people who have tried so hard for so long to feel normal. People who have tried so hard to help people understand to no avail. God can and does take chronic severe depression away. He absolutely did do it for me after 30 some odd years of trying in my own strength "to chin up", "think positive", and "to pull myself together" (ad nauseam). Why hasn't he done it for you? I don't know. Why did he let me suffer for so long? I don't know. Maybe he knew that the harder I suffered the more I would love him when the depression finally lifted, or maybe so there would be someone around who "understood". Can changing your thoughts cure depression? I don't think so. Not completely. Not permanently. It's too hard for someone in such a dark place to do on their own. Is this message total BS? Of course not. All things are possible with God. The more I turn my thoughts toward God the more He is able to fill me with His peace and light. My advice? Hold on to hope. Keep listening.

But when I'm down in the pit I can't think of nothing else but begging God to take me home. One time I went 2 yrs w/o symptoms. I thought I was well. But it came back.

God is so good! I had the worst experience in my life today, it's all my fault. But God still protected me and show the way to escape from this evil act. Second life though! I'm sorry for all the things I've done wrong, thank you for the love! I love you Jesus!!!!
Feel like I should reach out to you. I started drinking again this past month I have been going down a rabbit hole of self destruction. The only thing that's helped is turning towards God, reading the Bible and thinking spiritually and aiming towards God in every thought and feeling and action. Any of those that aren't godly, I turn them around back towards God. Yesterday, I went to an AA meeting and feel so much better. Now I need to continue to reach out and help myself.

I just stepped down from a Manager position. I couldn't deal with the panic attacks anymore. Was on salary. By the time I divided my hours down, I made less then my employees. I didn't get overtime. Just stress...when corp comes to visit. Employees that don't care. No time for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I remember praying a lot...please kill me now if You Love Me, or help me through this visit. Failed. I needed to get back to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. I didn't even have time for that. Anxiety piled up, way up. Because I was not meeting performance guidelines. From resets to new activities thrown at us. Try finding employees. 7 days a week. Usual I got one day off. A few weeks without put things in perspective. If I got lucky I got to talk to my 81 year old mother on Skype. One day off...no time to worship or do some sort of service/help in the community as I had done for years. I come home... eat what ever...sleep...no...collapse...sleep somewhat bc of panic and anxiety attacks (what ever I didn't get done at the store/lack of employees), back to work. Too tired to cook anything. Microwave what ever Stouffer meal. The Bacon and Shells is my favorite. I used to love to cook. Too tired. I stepped down from Manager to Assist Manager. Not sure if they..Corp. Might lose my job, Yes, Integrity got me there daily and giving it my best.Not once calling in sick no matter how sick I was. Just wasn't good enough for them. If I had one wish...train the CEO. So they see what is actually going on. How they are dividing us from God bc we don't have...yes we do. Step down. God will make a way. Jesus and the Holy Spirit on our side. Who can harm us? Nobody. Go to work. Have integrity. If they don't, it's their problem. I learned that in Pastor Rick's sermon last night. God is awesome. God got this.

I thought you said the 7 Churches in Revelation 2 n 3 was in Greece Roman and Asia Minor when really all 7 of them were in Asia Minor and in their exact order they record all Church History From 100 BC to today our 20th Century ending with Laodicia. Revelation 2 n 3 are maybe the 2 most important chapters as they are written by Jesus to His 7 Churches yet only in the order given does it carry 4 Dimensions of Fulfillment. 1. Why trust that faith is the path to truth when the same blind-faith we use to legitimize our beliefs can also be used to legitimize false beliefs?
2. If a claim can be tested for error, what could faith possibly offer us that science cannot?
3. If a claim cannot be tested for error, should we believe it on faith or remain skeptical of it?
4. If faith can be used to embrace false claims, don't we run the risk of damaging the lives of others based upon what may very well be errant beliefs?
5. What would our life be like if we stopped trusting in blind-faith beliefs and used critical thinking instead? Would our life be better or worse?

A little like I learn back when I did childcare they called it redo theater. If someone did a wrong to another instead of just saying you have to apologize to him. ecause unless they mean it, it's not effective. Then you take the circumstance and you redo it in a positive manner then it gives the child the ability to use that next time there's a confrontation or what not.
