Beetroot and Tomato Growing Side by Side

Planted tomato on one side of the row and beetroot on the other. Both plants were planted from seed before the last frost. Both were slow to grow because of the freeze catching me by surprise. I thought that there would be no more freezes!!! Planted too early.
