Wauw! such an intens game! Classic Lion game: idle/no vills, musk/falc, greedy, revolt. Loved the play with the trackwagons, really a game to be proud off!
Uno reverse war wagon is just salt on his wounds , what a filthy Revolt!
On the one hand, the 3 (8?) card monte trick with the Trek Wagons is hilarious. But alternatively, you could only send a single wagon to evacuate the team. Consider this: not only does their damage scale with the number of vills, so does their speed. A trek wagon with 20 vills (the max that can fit in) has EIGHT speed. Not even Lakota with the War Chief speed aura can keep up with that.

Lionheart really does not like building Trading Posts in the late game. 🤣
With revolts, they are especially good, as revolt cards 🎴 are much stronger than normal and often synergise with each other. Even without Stagecoach, they are better than a villager and take no population space or villager production time.

I remember my first South African game I had some kinda 2-3 hours slugfest supremacy game, spammed that card and ended up with villagers who had like 12 speed. It was insane watching them fly across the map uncatchable, and it made high base stat units like Mamluks have like several thousand hp. So dumb but I wish it was still infinite

I watched this game live - I feel like if he had just sat back after the initial raid and sent advanced artillery to clean up the banks he would have been ok. Wasted so many troops fighting under the tc/fort fire

Germany kind of struggles in the late game anyway. Especially if it does not have Land Grab and/or Germantown Farmers to have the eco 💹 boost to Age up.
Also, if Germany gets stuck in a stalemate, it is probably best to go for a revolt like Argentina, as it has no finisher stalemate-breaker unit like Grenadiers.
I believe Akans to South Africa is very strong because you can get the capitol upgrades while in revolt... So on top of imperial War Wagons, you also get imperial Akans. This strat misses only the advanced arsenal (especially if you focus on infantry)... Might try it!!

Ketur plays on vanilla as well, very good player, played many time with/against him. This strat would’ve worked probably 95% on old meta. It’s old vs new world, very interesting to watch. Ketur just lacks late game skills I reckon.
The German meta in DE is the same as the TAD German meta, this civilization does not have many changes, they just added a few things but nothing that changes the way of playing.
@@CazadorDeBrujas22 the problem is not germany itself it's the other civs that have changed. I mean dutch with imp WW is not really the old meta :')

It has slow tempo. Banks are expensive and take a while to pay off.
