I feel like there are thousands of vids like that, like motojitsu. But a racer doing cool shit on the street? There is also tons of videos like that😂 but Josh is cool lol
Josh is an awesome rider/racer but if you really want to learn, take the course below. Way more affordable than their actual 2 day course but valuable nonetheless. I've been riding for 20plus yrs and I still learned techniques I thought I knew or understood. I wouldn't be surprised if Josh took their course as well as a lot of top racers have gone to their school.
Keep the riding vlogs going! I like when you talk about what’s going on with your racing..what’s coming up for this season and when the season starts what’s going at the track,on the track, in the pits & behind the scenes. I like a brick hard front brake, I don’t like soft progressive brake. Thanks Josh 😎
Good point on the splitting/filtering, I see lost of people do that and always think “move by with some urgency” leaving yourself open to a heavy piece of metal isn’t a good idea 🤣. Always cool watching you, in whatever capacity you decide.
Yes, please keep behind the bars episodes coming. Would like to hear commentating while doing track days. As in, what your trying to do at certain turns, why you chose the gear your in etc on the track.
Always fun to watch and here you Josh! As for the splitting, I agree to accelerate past but never ever ever accelerate up to like you did on that red car. A that car comes over as you approach, and you're done. But accelerating past once you're next to it, absolutely! Spreading the love brother!
I absolutely love ❤️ your channel brother! And it helps to get more people into watching MotoAmarica! I don't think anything will help build your fan base better than this will.keep up the great work and we will keep on supporting the channel 👍 thanks Josh! Your amazing!
one thing I really enjoy is hearing racers talking about other racers. not trash talking but commentary on their style and pluses (and minuses if it's well intended). like the mat mladin interview collection when he talks about how good ben bostrom was and how he went on a 6 race win streak (or whatever it was in WSBK), but just couldn't get his head 100% in the game . not that I don't enjoy your motovlogs of just chillin or having fun, but maybe "racer on racer" chat could be a segment of your youtube as well. you could even talk about other racers while riding (2 birds with one stone). if you can get other riders to video chat interviews about techniques, tracks, food, music, whatever, I think that would be good too. because I don't think any other riders are doing youtube stuff and everyone would have to come to your channel to hear from their favorite racer ;). I realize I'm throwing a lot out there, but I'm just spit balling. I wouldn't expect all of this every episode. it's just a way to mix stuff up. thanks for the content and good luck growing your youtube :)
i always like all your video, its informative, educated ....fun and, this the show from the profesional rider, the view from different aspect situation on race or on road...very2 interesting, tx Josh...cheers from Indonesia
New to the channel but I have come across your ig, def love these behind the bars vlogs & the street vids. Especially you, being a professional, it gives guys like myself a whole different pov and motivation. The track stuff is dope af too but there’s a lot of content of track vids from great riders like yourself, watching you ride on the streets is a lot more surreal for us. 🤜🏾🤙🏾
Keep it up man ,love seeing a real racer out here teaching and living his best life. Good on Ducati for allowing you to be you, stick with them. Supporting this man is good for your brand Ducati.
Hey Josh, I love the 'behind the bars' series. I think it's so cool to have such a high profile Rider like yourself riding a street bike talking to us on a level. To my knowledge there's no one else doing this. So keep doing what you are doing and have fun with it. Can't wait to see you on track with that V2 giving it 100% Stay safe on those roads :)
R3 build is fun! I'm doing one right now on a 2019 R3, will be racing it next week in my first ever real life motorcycle race. woot woot. So you're a bit late with the R3 giveaway, but go for it, man, I'm sure someone else would love to get into the sport with a nice clean R3. Also completely agree that you should not linger when splitting past cars. The key is to minimize the time that you spend in the driver's blind spot. If you can't see their face in the mirror, then they can't see yours either, so you have to get out of that blind spot quickly. At the same time though, you don't want to approach at such a high speed that drivers can't see you coming, and you need to have a bit of reaction time in case they do something unexpected, so there's a balance with how fast you can go while passing. I try to have around a 10 - 15 mph speed difference when passing. In stop and go traffic the speed difference can be a little higher, but the delta shouldn't exceed about 25 mph.
Just one guy talking here, but I can see a thousand different Moto Vlogs of people riding around on the street. I’m a race fan and a fan of yours for years so I like the behind the scenes track stuff. Nothing wrong with a high quality video in my opinion, especially since there’s a lot of low quality crap out there. Would be cool to see a video from the 200 and the bike week scene around Daytona! Thanks for everything you do for the sport and best of luck at Daytona!
I like my brake soft at the biggining and harder the harder i pull, that's why i love my Ducati Penigale V-4, because it comes with all Brembo brake system, master cylinder, and of course calipers, and i can adjust the anitial bite that i get by just adjusting the lever.
I think I asked about the setup last video, thanks Josh!! Love the regular riding around content too finally relatable motovlog content love love love it Btw, I 2nd aggressive riding with traffic
Yes Josh 👊🏻 awesome video by yourself and lanky. Your skills are next level and so are your ⚽️ ⚽️s 🤣. What a canyon to rip that was 🔥🔥 wish we had 💩 like that over here in the uk 😔 can’t wait for the next one to drop!! Adam uk 🇬🇧
Love these episodes. I like all of the different types of content, Nick does such good filmmaking and these vlogs are entertaining. I don't think you can go wrong with any of it.
All your content is good and entertaining. Keep it coming with both the track and vlogging. I particularly like the track oriented stuff because I do a lot of track days in the summer and to also follow and support the racers.
I love these videos. It is good to see a pro level rider as yourself riding on the street. The vlog setup is better with this episode. I will be at New Jersey for the Motoamerica event again this year. I hope to see you there!!
Man when they were released SO many people said "You can't wheelie the Panigale V2" claiming that it wasn't powerful enough... As a supermoto rider, knowing that 30hp is more than enough and anything over 60hp is trivial to wheelie, I used to wonder if these people knew what the hell they were doing or just "It doesn't power wheelie in 4th, so it can't wheelie"... Seeing you effortlessly throw it into a stand up 2nd gear at 60mph... Awesome! :)
Good shit! Keep it up this has so much potential just because of your personality. Not to sound cliche, but just do you!!! Very enjoyable watching you try to jump your bike and backing it in lol. I can see why you sold the R1, this bike seems way more fun on the street. About the brake question, my R1 has the immediate brake feel and I love it, just more confidence inspiring than my 750’s brake with more lever travel. Now to get good at backing it in on the 750 :)
Ah man 👊 i love these bro. Keep it up for SURE!!!! I like a softer front brake to feels more precise! I gotta get me sum of them stickers deff stopping by the website
Hey man I’m new to the channel. Great content and I love the way you keep it real for the folks wanting to learn the right way. And congrats on the great finish at the Daytona!!
Ya simple is good! You have a lot of information and interesting things going on, so that is viewer’s appeal. Quality editing is great on occasion for large events. But quick raw content is good too👍
I like it all buddy...keep it all going! Anything "motorcycle" is cool by me! ... (pull in a little then hit so I can load the front for corners or emergencies. I keep 2 on the lever in heavy traffic)
I like the term "offensive" riding vs the term "defensive" in reference to your lane sharing advice, I don't live in Cali (wish I did for that freedom) !! I always try and get newer riders that ask about riding as they learn to think in an "offensive" way of riding thru traffic in general. Ride like you are going somewhere and play it out in your mind before you start your ride, so you are always engaged in the process of getting where you are going safely. If you are riding next to someone it's only a matter of time before they come at you as you stated in the video. I dig the riding videos and listening to your thoughts as you experience the road and the drivers/riders you come across. Keep em coming !! Q - how has it been being on the road more lately vs just the track ?? Any qwerks or behaviors you have experienced that you may have not necessarily have thought of before being on the road more ??
I like the raw vlogs as well as the edited ones, so keep them coming. Also, my friends and I will be in daytona for daytona bike week and the Daytona 200 races so I'm excited to be able to meet you hopefully as well as some of the other riders.
High quality stuff once every couple weeks. Keep the normal quality. Makes you feel more relatable. Also 100% keep the vlogs coming. But also bring riding tips back.
I like the view coming from professional riders regarding everything to do with Motorcycles. So yeah, absolutely, behind the bars episodes are great where you can speak freely whatever’s on your mind, pointers that you provide, we are all listening. Take advantage of those 15 second shorts that everybody’s putting out these days. It’ll help your algorithm. Some people will look at the time of a video and decide if they have time or not, those shorts often get massive use because as a viewer you’re gambling on what, 15 seconds of your life
Funny dirt bike firm street med soft .... dude met ya few yrs ago COTA Been fan ever since behind the bars awesum pro perspective on the street is great been subd for over a yr and your collab with your photographer is amazing !!!!@@!!!!
Josh, I'm sure @Chseontwowheels has told you but, get a deadmouse mic cover for the wind if you don't have one yet. Great setup. Happy to see any video you put out man.
Glad you got that motovlogging setup figured out man! Love to see ya doing more vlogging stuff.
Im still waiting for that multistrada pp video from josh 👀
this
Would love to see some content about riding tips: position going into turns, gears, etc
I feel like there are thousands of vids like that, like motojitsu. But a racer doing cool shit on the street? There is also tons of videos like that😂 but Josh is cool lol
Please, don’t do that. There’s enough self proclaimed gurus out there. Josh riding and Josh chat is enough content. 🙏🏻
Josh is an awesome rider/racer but if you really want to learn, take the course below. Way more affordable than their actual 2 day course but valuable nonetheless. I've been riding for 20plus yrs and I still learned techniques I thought I knew or understood. Thanks Josh 😎
Honestly the only rider that points the cam in the proper positions. THANK YOU!!!!
Good point on the splitting/filtering, I see lost of people do that and always think “move by with some urgency” leaving yourself open to a heavy piece of metal isn’t a good idea 🤣. Always cool watching you, in whatever capacity you decide.
Track content, street content. I want it all lol. Good luck this season Josh! Let's go!!!
As a new rider I like your behind the bars episodes with your pointers. Keep up the great content 🤙🏻
Yes, please keep behind the bars episodes coming. Would like to hear commentating while doing track days. As in, what your trying to do at certain turns, why you chose the gear your in etc on the track.

Great content. Congrats on Pole at the Daytona 200. Tough break on the pit...looking forward to the season starting!!!
Probably the cleanest vlog setup I've seen to date. Very nice !
I absolutely love ❤️ your channel brother! And it helps to get more people into watching MotoAmarica! I don't think anything will help build your fan base better than this will.keep up the great work and we will keep on supporting the channel 👍 thanks Josh! Your amazing!
"Spread love not hate" that's awesome lol! Funny but really true! Love watching your content and racing keep up the great work!

I love this series. Keep them going!!
Yeah, behind the bars from the street is good stuff. Please keep that going. Great safety tips.
Josh, Definitely keep the content coming. Great stuff. Soft braking for sure, as it helps with my confidence and smoothness too.
Just found this channel and I love hearing all that racer wisdom come out on the street! Keep the videos up!!
i always like all your video, its informative, educated ....fun and, this the show from the profesional rider, the view from different aspect situation on race or on road...very2 interesting, tx Josh...cheers from Indonesia

Hey Josh,
I love the 'behind the bars' series.

So keep doing what you are doing and have fun with it.
Can't wait to see you on track with that V2 giving it 100%
Stay safe on those roads :)
Yeeeeaaaah buddy!
keep blogs coming. here’s an IDEA: go to different places (lakes, woods, plains, etc.) and review the roads and give pointers on cornering.
I really enjoy the motovlogs like this
R3 build is fun! I'm doing one right now on a 2019 R3, will be racing it next week in my first ever real life motorcycle race. woot woot. So you're a bit late with the R3 giveaway, but go for it, man, I'm sure someone else would love to get into the sport with a nice clean R3.

It’s off season. Have you seen our Daytona 200 video from 2020? It’s one of my best performing videos.
Keep Behind the Bars going, Josh! 👍
I love behind the bars because I don't know any pro racers making motovlogs. I think its super cool.
I raced for many years, i loved a little slack in the clutch lever!
Hell yes, Behind the bars is a must…. IMO. Oh, and soft brake, lol.
Keep the street vlogs coming Josh!
I like my brake soft at the biggining and harder the harder i pull, that's why i love my Ducati Penigale V-4, because it comes with all Brembo brake system, master cylinder, and of course calipers, and i can adjust the anitial bite that i get by just adjusting the lever.
Don't hate! Appreciate them weelies! You are the wheelie king Josh.
I think I asked about the setup last video, thanks Josh!! Love the regular riding around content too finally relatable motovlog content love love love it

One of the greatest to ever do it in my opinion
Definitely keep the behind the bars stuff. It’s easy to watch and still entertaining
Us guys that ride are going to watch them all...keep'em all coming IMO.
I like for the front brake lever to pull in alittle and then bite. I agree with u it feels like u can control it better. 🙏
Love these episodes. I like all of the different types of content, Nick does such good filmmaking and these vlogs are entertaining. I don't think you can go wrong with any of it.
Soft brake for sure. Been a road race and Josh Herrin fan for years! Heading south March 10th, see you in Daytona!
Love the behind the bars series!! Kee them going! Also totally agree with the lane splitting and I prefer a softer brake as well.
Would love to see more content Josh after watching you ride your new v2 I decided to buy the new bayliss model taking delivery this spring.
All your content is good and entertaining. Keep it coming with both the track and vlogging. I particularly like the track oriented stuff because I do a lot of track days in the summer and to also follow and support the racers.
Please we love the behind bar episodes talking to us !!
I like the high quality stuff a lot actually. And prefer it. I like your motorcycle reviews so more of that would be cool
Wonderful scenery and great camera angle with some nice description. Best wishes for a successful run at Daytona!
I love all of it but especially enjoy the higher production quality videos
I liked it watching the coaching you used to do. Also I like a softer brake lever.
I love these videos. It is good to see a pro level rider as yourself riding on the street. The vlog setup is better with this episode. I will be at New Jersey for the Motoamerica event again this year. I hope to see you there!!

Dude i love the behind the bars vlogs! You are one of my favorite riders to watch! Back it in for us some more! 🤘🤘
Keep on vlogging also vlog your races. A fan of yours from Philippines. Ride safe! God bless!
keep it going behind the bars
Pull and then hit on the front brake so when you are coming in hot to a corner the braking doesn't scare you and you can ease into it
Yea man behind the bars is cool, more raw and relatable, cool vid!!
Thank you for watching! More to come!
yeah keep em going mate! Def soft brake

These behind the bar videos are sweet!
Thank you very much!
I like all the content. many pages have different types of episodes or different "shows" on their page. I think it keeps it fresh.
I love it all, keep it up!
Soft brake for sure, offers more modulation and less fatigue IMO.
Josh, I'm sure @Chseontwowheels has told you but, get a deadmouse mic cover for the wind if you don't have one yet. Great setup. Happy to see any video you put out man.
Yo Josh when's the next Filet Mignon 🍽 ride?!😋 Nice motovlog setup! Look forward to the group rides and more onboard track day riding tip videos!✌️
