@@DiNmiTe there's already been plenty of random races that only pull from a specific list (random all, random sporty, random pain, etc). seems like it shouldn't be too much trouble to create a "random gfred viable" list of everything except the meme vehicles, buses, service vehicles like the tractor the airport tug etc. and gfred has always been about luck, like people who get to the highway first AND find a 9f/infernus straight away, as we've seen numerous times and when someone has a good car out in front but then gets a bad bounce / roll off landing and explodes sending them to the back of the pack. also you say "not possible" but immediately say "no interest to make", so which is it?
@@starelikeajunkie still effort to make that list, and also make that system work with the cannonball gamemode. how is that different to me setting custom traffic? serves a similar purpose and one is much easier to prepare the luck argument, exactly, you're already dealing with luck from what the game spawns in traffic, why add more random factors on top of that? doesn't sound that exciting when players have so little in their control for a race, or feeling the need to constantly swap cars after every checkpoint if they get a bad pick it's both, at this moment it is "not possible", and in future there is "no interest to make".
I tried asking for this years ago with the Itali GTO and was told it more than likely wasn't going to happen, even if I tried to commission it into existence. It would have been the pre-patch Itali GTO, not even anything modded/unique.
Yeah makes sense. I still think there is potential for pre patch GTO to be revived in some way as a joke considering there isn’t a bouncy mess in the meme class yet. Closest thing we have is Jelly Rumpo
@@pommeNM I think the other reason why they might not want it there is because of how unpredictable it is. They chose to remove the brake boost Feltzer for that reason and replaced it with the handbrake boost version.

When I first saw the tulip and vamos in the SSA website I thought they were the exact same car cause I only saw the front and the fronts are identical just about

The Tulip. What a dissapointment. I remember loving the car in Preacher and it was such a great surprise to see it in the game. I could stomach it if it only had the bouncy flags but the toe values make it so annoying. But the Arbiter always will take the cake. I wanted a GTO style car for so long then they release a worse car than the Vamos in 2022 is one of the biggest slap in the face. I couldn't bring myself to play the game for weeks

14:00 - I think it's fine to have different styles of car handle differently, if everything handled the same, it'd be a very boring game. My favorite car to drive around is the Impaler, it has the wallowy suspension but no bumpsteer flags.

GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #289: TransformFred - Into the Unknown… (Not) RandomFred . . . . SPOILER ALERT After a Stunt Race in HSW Stirling GT, it’s time for Gfred. Though he got stranded into a Public Session with 4 people now, so he just let everyone in including the Randoms. He had to ask is this how Rockstar killed Invite Only session and put them back into Public Session? And so, he took a brief break. Then Broughy struggling to climb XDW’s Festival Bus. And then he fell off trying to make a DJ Post. And he can’t do it with a helmet on. And then he’s flung around again. He wanted XDW to take the Bus for a Party in the Beach. As the Lobby is filling up. And the Bus hit some Campfires as it brakes, before fighting each other. And yep, he needs a Parachute, so he entered a SuperVelito parked nearby as heard a noisy Raiju. And XDW sent a Mugger on him. Now there’s a 5-minute warning to start the Gfred. And now we entering some Airstrike Chaos. And he thinks this will be an interesting one since even he doesn’t know what Variant it is. And now he got Atomized. He asked Verdilith to be the Host for this race. And invite people individually to make sure there’s no Randoms. And Broughy took a dive to get away from this nonsense. And this time, we get… a TransformFred. He asked Verdilith if they need Parachute this time, which isn’t so people dying doesn’t matter. Quickz said “Been a pleasure, but I got to go now” And yes, Meteor Fuge is a random, so hopefully this one is Friendly. He asked Verdilith of any other Gimmick this time. And it’s just No Weapons. He asked Verdilith to do Crew Invite too. Nick Villa said “Asking for trouble there” Verdilith said “By the way, the last vehicle CAN make it up the island in multiple spots.” Referring to the disaster of Toreador and Stromberg before. He thinks Popcorn is the most appropriate Emote at the moment. XDW said “Can we give Verdlith a 60 second penalty at the start? Since he knows the routes” This is perhaps the first Gfred in History where he doesn’t know what could happen. Senor Blanco said my idea for the title, “Into the unknown....” And in the final variation, he got… a weird Parachute Slide that wrecks his descent into the Water. And he lost his Scuba Suit, but he feels like this happened last time, some had Scuba some aren’t. Is this a TransformRace thing, is this another Bug. But either way, he’s now in the backfoot immediately. So, he had to do the Run, I guess. Mark said “Weird. I saw your flippers on the bike even” He gave credit to Verdilith for making the TransformFred a thing in the first place, but Broughy gave Verdilith the task to pick the roster every time. All he said is to make sure there’s a mix of cars. The Third Checkpoint doesn’t seem to be on the Highway. And there’s already 26 seconds gap to Elite Coconut. This is as close we can get to a Random Gfred. Dinmite said “Oh PLEASE title it that way. Bait people” And… we get the Lawnmower ;D And then XDW said “CONTROLLER GLITCH AS SOON AS I HIT THE CHECKPOINT. FUCK THIS GAME. I HATE IT SO MUCH” And he felt like XDW kept getting that Bug. Let’s be honest, this game is trash. Also, this is another Friday Gfred because he’s not available in the Weekend. And 17 is the lowest we get in Gfred for a long time, with XDW’s issues. People tried to squeeze the Fence to get the Checkpoint, and then Broughy got… an Armored Boxville. And the Speed is Insane compared to Lawnmower. But while it had the Scoop, he doesn’t want to hit anything at all, since that’s more of a Last Ditch. Not enough to just whack or skid things out of the way. He sees people having issues at the Quarry however, so he took a slightly different line to enter it. AND! He still rolled anyway. Thanks to Joe Philip and Duck Zilla knocking him off. At least we’ll get a supercar soon. And it is… XA-21. And… he got wedged… ironically by the Random, Meteor Edge. Seems like he got the Thumbnail immediately. He’s now 12th out of 16. He could be doing better. But remember, a true RandomFred will have everyone in different cars. Dinmite said “Wait a minute, the XA-21, AN EXCLUSIVE CAR!! “Incredible rarity” He’s happy with 30 player Transform Race though, since it opens up so many opportunities with the cars. But so much traffic on the Hospital. He failed tried to squeeze between a Baller on South Central. It trolled him after stopping for whoever in front of him. And yes, ironically, with XDW out, we don’t need 30-player Transform Race this time. And then out of nowhere, Joe Philip pop up right blocking the Airport Jump, causing Broughy to hit the Ramp Issi and failed. Flying off straight on top of the Upper Terminal. He’s having a Bad Time indeed. At least people are committing suicide, so everyone could be having a bad time- but then he saw people in Vamoses. He’s now miserable in anticipation of it. BUT it’s actually the Tulip, which is slightly better. And yes, all the way up Chilliad too. Those Muscle Cars looks the same to him. Verdilith is a little bit kind, but not by much. And surprise, Verdilith is first as Broughy missed the 9F by hitting it. But to be fair, he had the Solo World Records in the word. This has been a meager showing from him, still stuck at 11th. 15th is still coming to the Hospital in XA-21 though. RBS took the Solo PS5 Record though. And the records there are only 7 seconds slower than PC. It’s scarcely believable. After PC being so far ahead for so long. And he sees a lot of cars he would rather have on Senora Road. He had no idea what awaits at Chiliad, but then F50 committed suicide. He hoped he already got the Airport Checkpoint. To which he said “At least I got the checkpoint this time” So yeah, he could be having a worse time. He refused to take Hotlap, so Elevator it is. He banking on the hill, and he expected some people to take OG, which didn’t happen. But someone took Hotlap, so good luck to them. And he flips at Calafia Bridge. And so, he’s back to Ranting. And he gone straight to the Tree. And so, his momentum is now ruined. They’re all bad with Toe Value, but Vamos is the worst. While Verdilith and RBS are fighting for the lead. The Record Holders are duking it out at the front. Just because muscle cars steered weirdly IRL, doesn’t mean it’d translate good into a game for driving experience. As he’s tethering next to the Cliff. That’s the Fanboys’ way of justifying Vamos and co.’s bad handling. Verdilith also had the Series X Record, Senor. And he got the Brawler, which he liked for a choice. It’s not good on Brakes though, so the Descent might be difficult. And he hit Vinible right away. And Dinmite said “Wait a minute. EXCLUSIVE!” We’re just getting Full Exclusives on this one. And it already went all sort of places on the Descent. And these Exclusive Cars are probably coincidences due to the sheer absurdity of how many cars got removed. Is Top Five Possible? With Itz at 49 seconds… probably not. And he almost hit a train, it’s all happened tonight. There’s some big field spread as he just glued to the Train Bridge’s Edge. It probably all come from the Start with the Scuba Suit Bug. He saw only Joe Philip is 9 seconds ahead, but there’s two blips on their way to Observatory. So, two positions potentially to grab. And he scarily went Two Wheels on Grand Chaparral. And somehow it doesn’t have enough speed for Elk Leap Skip. He thinks if he sees them on the map, it’s still possible to overtake them. And the final car is… Viseris, another Exclusive Car, and another Car ruined by AHF. But there’s another car change at Hookies Beach. He hadn’t driven one in ages, And Lane Webster blew himself up, earning himself 6th. And he did the Zancudo Entrance beautifully. And the Top Three, including Elite are pretty close. He’s 29 seconds behind 5th. And Verdilith gave out some Gift Subs. But then he snapped just out of Zancudo. And the real Final Vehicle is- not a Boat as the Icon says, but rather the APC. Time to find a way up the Island, though 4th did have some issues. And he didn’t have the Power, as people scrambling for 5th. He tries swim to the South. But the Turning Circle is pretty bad. And he finally got the spot and claimed 5th. Top Five is always Possible. Not bad for Non-Scuba, he’s quite far back from that. He’s somewhat proud of himself, for finding that location, and it actually worked. And yep, it could be worse. RBS said “Me and Verdilith were next to each other from Chilliad to observatory” It seems to be Top Three Close Battle indeed. His Driving is not the Best nor the Worst. And Top Five is the best he can get even if he had the Scuba Suit. It’s fun not knowing what cars are coming. Meanwhile, Itz is 4th, Joe Philip is 6th, and Vinible is 9th. It's amazing how differently people think when they are only used to racing on tracks, tries to climb an obviously too steep slope, from water as well, and tries to full throttle rwd cars up chilliad instead of trying to crawl a bit
13:40 i can understand you feel that way because your main interest is racing but gta is not primarily a racing game, these cars were not designed for racing, in a role playing game there should be some cars that are trash that are not racing cars. they may not translate to good driving experience but they can contribute to immersion in role play.
this is pointless to watch because the scuba glitch. i gritted my teeth last week but if you are not gonna take each race even simi-serious then why should i bother with watching you fail???

You can do a really random GFred on project homecoming. Each checkpoint everyone gets a random vehicle. Like a random all.
that's what I was expecting/hoping this video actually was. everybody having the same car from each checkpoint is boring.

you should set your scuba suit as default race attire then it shouldn't be removed when starting

And somehow it doesn’t have enough speed for Elk Leap Skip. He thinks if he sees them on the map, it’s still possible to overtake them. And the final car is… Viseris, another Exclusive Car, and another Car ruined by AHF. But there’s another car change at Hookies Beach. He hadn’t driven one in ages, And Lane Webster blew himself up, earning himself 6th. And he did the Zancudo Entrance beautifully. And the Top Three, including Elite are pretty close. He’s 29 seconds behind 5th. And Verdilith gave out some Gift Subs. But then he snapped just out of Zancudo. And the real Final Vehicle is- not a Boat as the Icon says, but rather the APC. Time to find a way up the Island, though 4th did have some issues. And he didn’t have the Power, as people scrambling for 5th. He tries swim to the South. But the Turning Circle is pretty bad. And he finally got the spot and claimed 5th. Top Five is always Possible. Not bad for Non-Scuba, he’s quite far back from that. He’s somewhat proud of himself, for finding that location, and it actually worked. And yep, it could be worse. RBS said “Me and Verdilith were next to each other from Chilliad to observatory” It seems to be Top Three Close Battle indeed. His Driving is not the Best nor the Worst. And Top Five is the best he can get even if he had the Scuba Suit. It’s fun not knowing what cars are coming. Meanwhile, Itz is 4th, Joe Philip is 6th, and Vinible is 9th. Normal GFREDs are random, you have no idea what you will get and everyone can have a different car,
13:40 i can understand you feel that way because your main interest is racing but gta is not primarily a racing game, these cars were not designed for racing, in a role playing game there should be some cars that are trash that are not racing cars. they may not translate to good driving experience but they can contribute to immersion in role play.
