I think C depends on your preferred focus. Say if your goal is to work in high-end software engineering like Microsoft and Nvidia, C is a must. It also helps you gain a good foundation with understanding programming at a deeper level. Other than that, Python is your best bet as a "regular" software developer.

C Programming helped me understand programming much deeper, first learned python then C, C# and C++. You should learn C on your own, that way you have no pressure from anyone/anything. You will manage🤞🏽🎉
